When we onboard new hires, the platform auto-creates all work accounts, schedules equipment handovers and sends standardized policy sign-off checklists without back-and-forth emails between HR and IT. Offboarding is equally secure; it instantly locks every system permission and logs asset recovery steps. The permanent timestamped audit trails paired with granular role-based data permissions are also invaluable. Every employee data edit, consent update and system access change gets recorded automatically, which drastically reduces the hours I spend compiling evidence for DSGVO audits and works council reviews across our 110-person team. Consolidating staff files, hardware inventory and access rights in one dashboard fully eliminates disjointed spreadsheets we relied on previously. **What do you dislike about ZenAdmin?** The biggest ongoing pain point is the platformโ€™s limited German localization and lack of native integrations with Germanyโ€™s mandatory HR software stack. Critical payroll and compliance modules are only available in English, which creates consistent confusion for our junior HR staff who primarily work in German. There is no native DATEV connector, so all payroll figures must be copied over manually each pay cycle. No pre-built templates exist for BetrVG-mandated works council reports, meaning I rebuild all workforce disclosure spreadsheets from scratch every quarter. ZenAdminโ€™s cloud infrastructure is hosted outside Germany, violating our internal DSGVO data localization policy. I have to run full weekly CSV exports of all personnel logs to upload onto our on-prem Nextcloud instance to satisfy audit requirements. They have integrated very nicely with our support staff, filling areas where we needed help and always providing swift support. Our decision to work with ZenAdmin has been essential to our IT team's success. **What do you dislike about ZenAdmin?** Not too much I dislike but I would love to see them expand on their webstore and have more equipment available to purchase that is in stock. Unfortunatly, many itemes we need to ask for a quote and the turn around time gets extended. Maybe having a list of the common items a company orders kept in stock, might be an idea **What problems is ZenAdmin solving and how is that benefiting you?** The company I work at is located primarily in the USA, but we have a growing location in India. We are a small software company and being 100% remote, asset management has been a challenge. Getting remote employees their equipment and collecting and storing equipment from departing employees has been a big challenge. ZenAdmin has saved us by providing us locations in the US and India to store our equipment and then allocate that equipment to staff when we need it or collect and store the equipment when a staff member leaves. The ZenAdmin team takes care of everything for us, handling all the logistics with shipping, deliveries and storage. The SaaS platform also has been a great IT Asset Management system and connects to our HexNode MDM system. Their platform, called ZAP for short, also syncs with our HR system, so we have our staff directory available at our fingertips. If we need to ship a laptop to a staff member, we go into that staff members profile and then allocate the laptop to them. The ZenAdmin team then handles the work to get that laptop into the hands of that employee. ZenAdmin and their 'WebStore' has also been a great benefit for when needing to order new equipment. ### 4. We didn't want to engage multiple MSP vendors or hire dedicated resources.
