What do you like best about Zeffy?

Zeffy is clear, easy to navigate, and comprehensive—it gives us exactly what we need to get the job done quickly and professionally. Over the two years we’ve used it, we’ve watched it continually evolve and improve. The team communicates well, and I appreciate being able to talk to a real human when I need help. I especially love the newsletter tools, including click rates and heat maps that help us understand how people engage with our messages. Our previous platform was expensive and had so many bells and whistles that I had to take classes and still never came close to mastering it. What do you dislike about Zeffy?

My only concern is that after we uploaded our database, some donation history appears to have been recorded twice. I’m not sure whether we accidentally uploaded it twice or something happened during the import, but we’re now seeing apparent duplicates. Zeffy has alerted us to other types of duplication, and I would appreciate similar alerts for possible duplicate donation records so we can review and correct them. I would also like to add that I would prefer to offer donors the option to donate monthly as a first choice, maybe with a quick tagline explaining that your monthly support keeps our mission moving forward. Zeffy helps the Dent Disease Foundation turn our three-pillar mission—Educate, Connect, and Cure—into action. Thank you Jill, and thank you for two years with us! Zeffy is nonprofit fundraising software with no platform fees and no transaction fees, and it is good to hear the product has kept improving over that time rather than standing still.

On donation history appearing twice after your database upload, that is worth sending to support directly rather than unpicking yourself. They can look at the import on your account, tell you whether it ran twice, and advise on cleaning it up, which is far safer than deleting records by hand.

Auctions run real time bidding with outbid notifications, no bidder account required, and manual entry for cash or offline bids, with payment collected from winners automatically once bidding closes. What do you like best about Zeffy?

What I like best about Zeffy is that it is truly zero-fee, allowing our organizations to receive 100% of the money people give. It’s also incredibly intuitive and easy to set up. We use it for donations, event ticketing, and fundraising, and I appreciate being able to manage all of those needs in one simple platform without losing a percentage of every transaction to fees. The biggest drawback we’ve experienced is that Zeffy isn’t as widely known as platforms like PayPal. Occasionally, donors are hesitant to enter their payment information simply because they aren’t familiar with the Zeffy name. We do a Bingo Fundraiser twice a year. I have one item for sale as General Admission then I want to give the people the option to the add on items like Extra Bingo Books and Daubers. When I export the list of attendees, Extra Bingo Books and Daubers are combined into one column, and I would appreciate if it was separated into different columns. So Suzy purchases 1 GA, 1 Extra Book and 1 Dauber... I want to see those all in separate columns with a total purchase amount. On selling general admission and then offering extra bingo books and daubers alongside it, there are two ways to do that today: additional ticket types on the same event, each with their own name, price and capacity, or the online store for the physical items, which tracks inventory and sells in person through Tap to Pay on the night. Support can set up whichever fits your bingo best.

What do you like best about Zeffy?

As a nonprofit organization, finding a platform that is easy to use, reliable, and designed with nonprofits in mind is extremely important. Our experience with **Zeffy** has been wonderful. The platform has made it easier for the Austin Tyler Foundation to manage event registrations, donations, and fundraising efforts in one place.

I especially appreciate how user-friendly the platform is and how it allows nonprofits to focus more on their mission and less on the administrative side of fundraising. The setup process is straightforward, and the platform provides helpful tools that make managing our events and donor support much easier.

We recently used Zeffy for our “A Day as a Victim: One Call, One Journey, One Community” event, and it was a great resource for managing registrations and supporting our event efforts.

Thank you for the review! Zeffy is a 100% free fundraising platform for nonprofits, and being designed with nonprofits in mind rather than adapted from a commerce tool is what most organizations notice first.

One detail worth knowing about the reliability you mention: receipts are issued automatically on every transaction, contacts are created or updated as payments arrive, payouts run automatically on a weekly cycle, and campaigns can be duplicated rather than rebuilt, so very little depends on anyone remembering to do it.

Zeffy has a lot of features all in one place. There is a way to email all participants in an event, campaign, or donors solicitation. It saves so much needed time being that I'm wearing all the hats to accomplish these tasks, and there are zero fees so we can garner all the much needed funding to support our cause. What do you dislike about Zeffy?

Customer support was hard to find but I was able to get in touch with a live chat that was pretty fast to answer, but seemed very AI, robotic and inflexible with answering the issue. I also needed to change the link for my first campaign because the title changed, and I couldn't after I had shared the campaign, and thus the link doesn't match the campaign name which is confusing consumers. What do you like best about Zeffy?

Zeffy makes it easy for me to create, distribute, and promote our fundraising campaigns. I have a generic campaign that is always on our website. And I've created specific campaigns. Zeffy makes it easy for me and looks good for our potential donors. It gives me tools to use in emails, on our website, and in social media. It handles the donor communication. What do you like best about Zeffy?

This is super easy for volunteers to use! I love that they do not have to create an account or be given permission to see who has purchased tickets or check them in - they just scan the QR code. Our patrons like that there are no required fees. When I have had questions, the support team has been prompt and helpful! I also love the newsletter feature. That helps me market our productions.
