I love using Zeffy for fundraising as it allows us to easily and effectively collect peer-to-peer funds. The lack of processing fees is fantastic because it maximizes the amount of money we get from each transaction. The ability to send correspondence through the platform for free is absolutely amazing and customizing the platform for our use at no cost is super nice. I also appreciate the flexibility to utilize different types of fundraising, like auctions and ticket sales. Setting up Zeffy was super easy, and we were up and running in a matter of minutes. Overall, the features that really stand out are the minimal processing fees and the customization options.

As a small nonprofit team, we needed a platform that could do a lot without a steep learning curve — and Zeffy delivers. We've been able to raise funds and run campaigns with real ease. The platform strikes the perfect balance: simple enough to get started quickly, but flexible enough to customize for our specific needs without feeling limited. There really isn't much that I dislike about Zeffy. If I had to identify one area for improvement, it would be having a little more flexibility and customization in how event pages and forms are designed. At times, I would like more control over the appearance and layout so that they can better match our organization's branding. What I like best about Zeffy is that it is easy to use and allows nonprofits to keep 100% of the donations they receive. Zeffy can be used many different ways - on a phone, with a QR code, via an email link, on the computer. Its flexibility helps us collect money remotely at our fundraising activities, or also provide an easy way for our members to register and pay for events. The reports are great and help with my monthly bookkeeping as treasurer. They are easy to export and modify depending on what information I need as well as organizing the data on the spreadsheet (by date, by names, etc.). I really enjoy how Zeffy continues to offer the opportunity for our school to offer online payment for events, membership, and donations without having to lose money due to credit card charges. As a non-for profit organization we rely heavily on donations to help support us. Every dollar counts, and Zeffy allows us to keep every dollar. I've owned a business and worked at several nonprofits and processing fees are one of my least favorite things, so the fact that Zeffy's whole mission is to take the processing fee burden off of nonprofits whose budgets are already stretched super thin is amazing to me and fills a giant need. Zeffy's platform is so easy to use and while it might not be robust enough for larger nonprofits, it gives small and mid-sized nonprofits the power to manage their donors with ease. The main complaint about Zeffy is how they handle asking our donors if they'd like to support Zeffy. When someone donates to our organization through a Zeffy campaign, Zeffy adds a field that asks if the donor would like to support Zeffy as well, which is not the problem. The problem is that this field defaults to add 15-20% to the donation and puts the onus on the donor to change that number. The major issue with how they do this is that its not very clear that changing the field to $0 is even an option. In order to change that field to $0 you have to select "Other" and then type in $0. So, we have unfortunately had donors who did not understand how that works and ended up giving an additional 20% by accident. That one feature does have the potential to leave your donors with a bad experience, but regardless I still feel Zeffy's value outweighs that one negative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Zeffy to accept donations for our nonprofit and have been really happy with it. We chose Zeffy because it was the only platform we found that didn’t charge fees, which is especially important for a small nonprofit. It’s easy to use, convenient, and very user-friendly. We also really appreciate the email notifications we receive about donations, bank transfers, and even login alerts when someone signs in from a different device. Those little updates are really helpful and give us peace of mind. Overall, we’ve had a great experience with Zeffy and would absolutely recommend it to other nonprofits. I joined a volunteering group to host events’m a volunteer for a biotech professional organization, and I’m responsible for promoting our events, so I use Zeffy quite often.

I really like Zeffy because the interface is very easy to use, and it has all the features I need. Most importantly, Zeffy doesn’t charge transaction fees, which means our nonprofit organization can keep 100% of the registration fees. This is especially important for a small organization like ours.

I’ve used Eventbrite and other event platforms before, but they charge fees or take a percentage of the ticket sales. Because of that, we often ended up losing money on our events in the past.
