
The templates for authoring policies and procedures really do make sense and turn out very readable and understandable documents. It allows to put in exceptions, and makes attaching videos, documents, or weblinks very easy. The user portal is also easy for people to look for something using key words. My account representative has always been immediately responsive, and although I always prefer one on one support, their support ticketing responses through email have been very comprehensive. I don't find myself having back and forth emails to get a helpful response--they truly understand my issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The hardest part is to get other authors to think the "Zavanta" way about policies and procedures. Users come with a preconceived way of writing a policy, that often created the confusing documents of other organizations, and it is very difficult to show them the better way. We still have difficulty with the review and approval process. Initially the set up of the documents and site was very difficult but it is not difficult to maintain.
