# Is SuperAnnotate worth it for ML engineers building annotation pipelines at AI companies?

But its listed user roles are Student and Data Trainer, and 57% of reviewers are at small companies. SuperAnnotate operates a global managed workforce of vetted annotation experts.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">What the platform actually offers an engineering team: annotation, evaluation, and reinforcement learning workflows aimed at frontier model work, with project visibility across a managed operation. How did the API and SDK hold up when you needed to drive labeling from CI rather than the UI? At what dataset size did the interface start costing you time?</p>

What the review base consistently support is a well-organized annotation workspace and responsive project management on the labeling side, which matters for output quality but says little about integration effort. For an ML engineer, the smarter validation than review volume is a technical trial that actually exercises the API and SDK under a CI-like workflow, since that&#39;s the exact use case the current review base barely speaks to.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
