**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

Neon is a great place to centralize all constituent data instead of maintaining separate databases for each category of constituent. Its reporting tools make it easy to communicate with disparate groups of people in our community, and it's very useful to have a "relationship at a glance" on each constituent's profile. We use Neon every day whether it's to send weekly e-newsletters to our volunteers, assess our progress on fundraising goals, or to create event bookings for educational programming.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

Neon can be overly technically complex or unintuitive for back-end users who do not have some familiarity with tech. With power and lots of functionality comes complexity, and more work can be done to make the user experience more elegant. That being said, Neon has an excellent feedback forum, monthly product updates, and generally responsive customer service.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Neon CRM gathers our constituency into one database, which streamlines operations greatly.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

the web pages open quickly, very easy to move around the platform

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

it's difficult to find articles needed in the support portal because there is just so much information and the search term engine is not very intuitive. That said, the chat support is great.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we were able to combine our outdated database with our quickbooks financial data to have an all-in-one platform that would keep our donors and volunteer information updated at all times. Extremely difficult to do otherwise, since the majority of donors are volunteers also. It's cut a large amount of our routine processes in half time-wise.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

The stability of the software and the ability to create detailed reports. I really like the email function as I can send nice loooking emails to our members and donors, then watch the open rate and get statistics on the email success.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

Our dababase has many duplicates. I inherited it and am not sure why we have so many duplicates, most are empty records.  Removing the duplicates is tedious and at times difficult.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Neon CRM acts as the database for general donations and membership. In an ideal world it would also be a fundraising event software in which I can register guests and create systems for auction payments.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

I enjoy the monthly update zoom presentations.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

We pay extra for trainng when needed. I wish we could call and get help in the moment. Having to schedule a 15-30 minute session is incnvenient. When Neon first came out, communication and assistance was much easier. Why pay extra, I barely use and am more than likely directed to the Support Center. What would take 5 minutes on the phone, takes much longer in the Academy etc. The end result is that I move pon without using the NeonOneCRM to its capabilites and we're paying for a service I barely use becouse the procees is too complicated.

All of our organizational needs to manage donors, memberships, events and more are in one place. Enter pledges and taking payments are very intuitive.

It lacks the ability to have a self-service kiosk at our center to take donation.

Flexible design of event registrations and email communications.  Ability to generate custom reports for anything we need.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

Store module is too expensive. It should have levels that would allow selling small promotional items with very low annual sales amounts.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did not previously have on-line presence. Since implementing Neon with online membership, we have significantly increased our membership. Further, it has provided an easy way for our members to contact us and for us to contact our members. It has also allowed us to segment our membership by geographic regions making it easier to tailor events and promotions to different areas of the country,

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

We've found Neon has supported our organizations needs for donation tracking. I like the global systems page, it makes it easy to jump to whatever area I need to work in for setup and editing. I also like the way the donors is organized.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

I wish Neon let us update the expiration date on cards only. I haven't found a way to do this. Each time a donor has an expiring card I have to enter the entire card again, which is a headache for the donor. The last system we used allowed us to update only the expiration date, as long as we have the extra code. Other than that, I love Neon.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our donor info is easy to find, duplicates easy to merge, and reports are fairly easy to create. Our past system struggled with those areas.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

Neon is easy to use and for us, everything is all in one place - donations, memberships, event registration, email marketing. We also have an integration with Ujoin for our advocacy efforts. All the data is together. Most things are customizable, so it's easy to set up what works best for your organization.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

I wish the forms were more robust and could be placed directly on our website versus another link to click on.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had to switch CRMs because our previous one was ending. Our previous system treated everything as a donation, but Neon differentiates between registration, membership, and donation.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

Neon CRM is the ideal CRM for small nonprofits. It is relavtivly easy to implement, to learn to use, very customizable and afforadable. It has definitely changed the way that organization operated and has implemented significant efficencies. Many other CRM's might be more powerful, but they take a tremendous amount of staff and financial resources to full implement. I have gotten organizations up and running on Neon in a week, and they are able to maintain it by themsleves once trained.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

There are some features that are missing in Neon, especially when using custom fields. Creative workarounds can be implemented, but I do hope those updates are eventually put in place. 

The customer support sometimes take a bit of time to respond.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking donors, clients and volunteers and streamlining processes to create efficencies and reduce wasted time.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

We chose NeonCRM over its comnpetitors because of how many in-house features it had. It was the only product that could meet all of our needs for a CRM solution.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

If you work with a program long enough, you can gind the spots that don't work as well as you would like, but overall, this is a very robust, functrional and effective system.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed event management, membership management, and donor databse solutions. Neon CRM has them all included. I only needed to learn one system rather that three separate systems and try to cobble them all together.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

Having moved from a CRM that was mostly hard-coded and charged for any "extras", we love Neon for its flexibility.  The "global settings" allow us so much control over our system.  In many places it is possible to change display names, customize forms and fields, and make it usable for us without extra cost.  In addition, their customer support is outstanding - responsive and knowledgeable.  And one of the most impressive services is a Suggestion Portal, where users can contribute ideas to improve the product.  Neon actually reads and responds there, and IMPLEMENTS changes that receive more upvotes.  I've never seen another software vendor that is this responsive to its customers and debutes improvements monthly.  Neon was an excellent choice for our small organization, providing tools that will serve us well for years at a price that is not breaking out budget.  It has saved us innumerable hours in both frustration and staff time, offsetting that cost.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

Not much.  At times the processes are not intuitive, but the answer is almost always found in the Support Center or via support chat.  There is a bit of a learning curve for filtering reports, but that is balanced by a strong ability to create custom reports.  One current limitation is the lack of add-on purchases for events and memberships (i.e. t-shirts, publications, etc.), although we understand that is on the development track.  We normally find work-arounds for any deficits, although far less necessarythan with our old system.

Neon has helped us integrate data across our operations, centralizing transactions for membership, events, fundraising, and accounting.  We also now have access to virtually any report we can think of, making that data far more useful in meeting our goals and operational objectives.

Neon support is amazing! They are very helpful and will find a solution to your needs.  
Adding donations is an easy process.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

I haven't gotten to use the new events update and this may now be included.  In the past I have found setting up events and campaigns to be challenging. If it were more congruent allowing all aspects of set up to be inside one event builder or campaign builder would make it much better.  what made it difficult is having forms in a different window and then making sure the forms are with the correct campaign or event made this part of Neon more challenging.  As stated before the new update may include this.

Neon allows us to easily track or donations.  Reports are obtained easily and are downloadable.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

I appreciate that I only need to use one platform for all of my needs.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

The longer you use one tool or feature of Neon CRM, the more you realize its limitations or inconsistencies. I once loved reports, and now I realize that it has logic flaws. I once loved events but now I realize it has flaws with attendance lists, waitlists, and registration information. Workflows are great but not very intuitive and limited in number available. Fomrs look good but have limited capabilities. All of Moved management could look nicer and be more intuitive. Membership and Donations can be tricky to untangle. Neon CRM can do A LOT but it can't do anything impressively well.

Offering software that includes event management, membership, reporting, and forms all in one place.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

NEON CM has an incredible number or options to customize things. I have yet to discover all the ways we can utilize the CRM.

It has been easy to integrate with our website as well as migrating to the NEON Website.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

Some of the features are not found in logical places. Customizing forms must be done from different locations on the dashboard (campaign vs forms vs old forms page). There is so much and it's not always easy to find. 

We also would like to send invoices that have a pay link included. We'd also like to allow registrants for an event to update their registration (name of attendees for example).

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fundraising, donation tracking and events is our primary use of the CRM.

Integrated donations, CRM, event management, the works! At a solid price, with really good on-demand support from excellent staff. Also really good proactive updates and improvements.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

It can do so much that it's inevitably complicated for staff that don't need all the features. We are also caught in the event module upgrade, where our needs are too complex for the new system but the legacy system is still clunky...but I anticipate this being resolved soon.

It's our go-to for tech!

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

Neon CRM is made for non-profits. I like that we can push unique communications to specific segments of our supporters. Neon also connects with countless API's so that we can keep up with new technology and meet our staekholders where they are. Neon's tech support is incredible too, that makes a huge difference!

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

We would like more templates for our communications (i.e. newsletters, etc.)

Neon CRM keeps us informed of our donors and helps us engage with them efficiently and thoughtfully.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

It's easy to learn and use. A new employee was fully engaged with the platform, and productive within a few days. I've always been pleased with Neon's customer service.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

Survey forms have upload limitations. We needed to add a link to a recorded webinar and a PDF of the presentation. The webinar was uploaded to YouTube so that created the link. The link to the PDF was then added in the confirmation email. This created a two-step process for our constituents rather than a simple one.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The intergration of NeonPay was a huge improvement. We no longer have to use a second platform for processing payments. Accounts are created which saves time. I also like that orders can be processed at an in-person event.

It is easy to create electronic links to register for our events
Relatively straightforward to use
Tech support articles and tutorials generally useful for learning new areas
Was easy for new users to learn to use the Store functions for our native plant sale

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

It's a bit clunky
Customer support has gotten much slower over the years
Synchronization with Constant Constant seems to have issues 
Duplicate Management tool has limited usefulness

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great at keeping track of who registered online for our events
Good at keeping track of our volunteers and hours (self-input), though the timesheet functions are very clunky
Great at keeping track of donations made online
Great at sending out automated thank you emails to donors or product purchasers

A robust CRM with an event registration meets out needs. Generating reports is pretty easy (but a basic understanding of how data bases work will be helpful). Good integration with other apps like Mailchimp. I use Neon pretty much weekly, and often, several times a week. Getting started with Neon took some time, but there were plenty of written and video tutorials to help.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

Great customer service, but sometimes it is hard to get a timely response. We pay for phone support, but more than not, get a recording and have to leave a message. I think they are working on that and understand that it may be an industry wide problem.

NEON One helps with managing our memberships, including email and fundraising campaigns.  Automated replies help save time as our volunteers would have a hard time doing this task in a timely manner.

Sometimes it's difficult to figure out how to accomplish a task, especially when I don't know the correct term used by NEON.  That makes searches difficult and it can create frustration.

NEON maintains a database that remembers which members should or should not receive mail and maintains addresses, which is super helpful.  The email campaigns work well to let our members know about current happenings with our organization.  The problem is that, with older members, they don't always check email.

I also like the recorded webinars for updates and I have noticed a great improvement monthly with the new product updates and that is very exciting. I think the reporting features still have some improvements with  how to narrow things down. I think they could be a bit more user friendly and allow you to control more.

I love that Neon CRM is more than just a fundraising/finanacial platform. The additional assets offered to clients like the Giving Tuesday toolkit with mail and email templates, schedules, etc. was a godsend and helped us raise the most we have for a Giving Tuesday.

Some bugs in the event registration application including not being able to apply a discount to each individual iticket purchased only the toal purchase, and when putting multiple event dates on a registration form to choose from, allowing someone to choose all the dates listed and only be charged the fee for one date.

I have appreciated all the learning videos and tips given as I didn't have anyone to train me when I began using the program.  I've learned everything through the Neon videos.

I would say it's not always intuitive on how to get from one part to another - setting up a campaign, then email campaign, I felt like there were some repetitive steps.  Also, I've had some trouble with reports and trying to create reports with specific identifiers.  A lot of trial and error.

Fundraising tracking and we plan to have an event and sell tickets and will use the Neon system.

I like forms and reports. Creating a form specific to my needs and the ability to create a report to match it. The number of resources is amazing. Though I met with a consultant for the CRM process, I am able to also look at many resources to help me figure things out. 
The agency I work for has been recording data/donors on paper for years. The CRM import and the ability to edit has made the process so easy. Now being able to pull reports for my committee is so exciting.

Neon CRM offers more options than similar products at the same price point, with an easy to use onboard process and ongoing training/webinar series to maximize the available tools. There is a decent level of customization, and the tools are also being updated in a thoughtful way to make them more clean, user-friendly, and attractive for both our membership/donor audience and our admin users.

The main navigation for the admin user is still quite awkward and makes finding things difficult. I sometimes have to click out of a form to change a setting before I can complete it, and it's hard to remember where to find each customization menu for each component. I do see that it's easy to suggest edits to Neon CRM and they do take customer feedback seriously, so I hope more of these changes will be updated.

Neon CRM has been very helpful for our small organization. Previously we were using a lot of Google Sheets to manually track our client's information, and using a website events/class registration system that didn't offer us any reporting features. We love how user-friendly it is, it has a nice modern look, and things are easy to find. The client profile is excellent and has all of the info you'd need on a client so neatly organized. Adding events, sending email campaigns, and running reports are super simple. We are so happy we made the switch to Neon.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

We would like the Event feature to have more options, but we easily get by with what Neon currently offers. The positive thing is that this company takes their customer's feedback very seriously and is always actively adding new features that their customers request through a suggestion portal/forum.

One place to store all of our customer contact information, even registrations, event data, and email campaigns. We even use the "Grant" feature to track the educational scholarships we give out to the community.

Ease of use, but very comprehensive at the same time. They are always improving and doing so listening to users.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

The downside of comprehensive is that there is a lot to learn!

Tracking and acknowledging donations of all kinds. Selling tickets to both general admission and reserved seat concerts & events. Class registrations. Volunteer management.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

Ease of use.  I have used other CRM's in the past; the menu structure and overall application workflow are intuitive and simple.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

Some features did not come right out of the box  like Event Management and volunteer management functions that can be tied to an event.  Everything is treated as an account, which simplifies things; however, there is too much data that is needed for just simple account entry.  I know most fields are not required, but it does confuse folks that have never used a CRM before.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us track our donations and create a better reporting structure around this activity.

**What do you like best about Neon CRM?**

We feel that it was the best option we researched regarding the variety of solutions it provides. Additionally, the Neon price structure allows our small and agile organization to grow our CRM without penalty.

**What do you dislike about Neon CRM?**

There are still prohibitive limitations when integrating the themes into forms and pages. I would like to see themes be more flexible. I'd also love to see a way to see if a contact is on one or more email lists from their profile.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Neon is solving our issue by having a shared CRM for our multiple initiatives and not having redundant systems and forms in various places.

It 's reasonably cost effective with lots of functioning!

Customer support is slow to address issues and some reporting functionality is just not fixable.

**What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

donor communication, though we have to augment with constant contact, because Neon's email modules are outdated and difficult to use.

It is a robust CRM. Can do several things within its system. Very easy to learn.

Sometimes customer service can be difficult processing. Hard to get on the same page at times.

Having all our donors information in one location including their donation amounts.
