Although the system is quite robust, it is not always very intuitive. There are better systems out there for social fundraising that are more 'user friendly' for our constituents. We field many calls from those trying to set up their fundraising page and experienced difficulties.
In addition, we are having issues with multiple accounts - many, many of them. Merging duplicates is a very time consuming chore. In addition, there needs to be a way to merge accounts that are similar but do not necessarily have matching name/email details. For example, Shari A. registered for an event with her personal email and then a few days later she made a donation as Sharon A. with her work email address. Need to be able to select two accounts to merge like these. Would also like to have an option for 'joint' accounts. We have numerous people registering as Bill & Jane X.
Would like to be able to add items to the calendar without creating an event.
Have asked for the ability to offer volume type discounts for registrations (like you can in the store feature) - i.e. $150/person for a gala ticket or purchase a table for $1250. You can create two items but we need to also be able to collect the registrant details for 10 at a table. Would be nice to be able to set it up as - X% or $X discount when 10 or more register together.
Other major software systems I have used have an annual user conference where you can go and select workshops on topics of interest and actually learn in person and have the chance to ask questions. In addition, it is always helpful to be able to talk with other users and learn tips and tricks from them.
