**What do you like best about XStudio?**

Initially some business setting that handles the total life-pattern of your tasks from start to finish. Our association utilized IBM Rational Test Manager and IBM Rational Functional Tester. We improved the IBM Rational useful analyzer to coordinate and use selenium rather than IBM's exclusive article acknowledgment innovation. At this stage we kept on utilizing IBM Rational test administrator to drive our selenium contents. To go to the subsequent stage and eliminate interface with IBM Rational test director and consequently set aside cash, we attempted X studio. It was a phenomenal fit and we are going in under 3 days. The item planners had an immediate knowledge to our new element demands and here and there when we requested something it was allowed inside 2 days in another form (to us as well as for the entire network). Best of all the paid form was only 8 USD per permit and even the free one had a basic ad flag (that barely harms and subsequently was not very diverting). This was a stunning change contrasted with how IBM Rational would charge a few thousand dollars for help that barely coordinated X studio levels.

**What do you dislike about XStudio?**

There were some acceptable highlights of IBM Rational test director and the manner in which we composed our tests that we got excessively used to. It took a slight tuning for X studio to fit into our particular situation. While not awful by any means, X Studio can keep on attempting to adjust to an exceptionally light weight simple to utilize and change strategy for sorting out experiments in organizers, and partner them with constructs or runs. The details of what is ideal are troublesome o assemble as each group has its own needs. So thinking of an answer that can fit everything is incredibly troublesome yet at the same time since you requested what can be improved I am telling this

**What problems is XStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assists with keeping ventures on target and on time. benefits are that it naturally tracks plans for us and updates as the timetable changes. Cost investment funds. IBM Rational Test suite cost us 100,000 USD per seat (gliding with help). X studio cost us 8 USD per seat and Selenium was free. We had 50 dynamic clients of Rational programming. So our reserve funds were (100000-8)*50 = 5 Million per year

  ### 2. great program for the office

**What do you like best about XStudio?**

very easy to understand! the entire company got on board quickly. We manage over 20+ projects at a time, so we rely heavily on systems like xstudio to help complete delivery.

**What do you dislike about XStudio?**

graphics on program are a little old school compared to other programs we've used

**Recommendations to others considering XStudio:**

If you manage tons of projects at once, I would recomend using this. It's pretty easy to use (and they offer help if you need it). It's similiar to other sites such as smartsheets, so if you've used those then you will be set!

**What problems is XStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helps to keep projects on track and on schedule. benefits are that it automatically tracks schedules for us and updates as the schedule changes

  ### 3. Use of Xstudio product as an alternative to IBRM Rational Quality Manager to drive selenium scripts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about XStudio?**

Firstly some business context
Our organization used IBM Rational Test Manager and IBM Rational Functional Tester
We improved the IBM Rational functional tester to integrate and use selenium instead of IBM's proprietary object recognition technology. At this stage we continued to use IBM Rational test manager to drive our selenium scripts

To go to the next step and remove link with IBM Rational test manager and thus save money, we tried X studio
It was an excellent fit and we are up and running in less than 3 days

The product designers had a direct insight to our new feature requests and sometimes when we asked for something it was given within 2 days in a new build (not just to us but for the whole community)

Best of all the paid version was just 8 USD per license and even the free one had a simple advertisement banner (that hardly hurts and hence was not very distracting)

This was an amazing change compared to how IBM Rational would charge several thousand dollars for support that hardly matched Xstudio levels

**What do you dislike about XStudio?**

There were some good features of IBM Rational test manager and the way we organized our tests that we got too used to.
It took a slight tuning for Xstudio to fit into our specific scenario

While not bad at all, XStudio can continue to try to adapt to a very light weight easy to use and change method of organizing test cases in folders, and associating them with builds or sprints.

The specifications of what is optimal are difficult o gather as every team has its own needs. So coming up with a solution that can fit all is extremely difficult but still because you asked for what can be improved I am telling this

**Recommendations to others considering XStudio:**

Invest to meet with the founders in the very beginning of your journey
The founders are very passionate about the product and can help you a lot

**What problems is XStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cost savings
IBM Rational Test suite cost us 100,000 USD per seat (floating with support)
Xstudio cost us 8 USD per seat and Selenium was free
We had 50 active users of Rational software
So our savings were (100000-8)*50 = 5 Million a year
