What do you like best?

It saves time from chasing referees, it is mostly easy to understand. e.g. the icons and visuals used in references Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The inability to add in probes, confusion about how to use the candidate+referee notes effectively, the negative sentiment bar was often incorrect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Set up the questionnaires based on well performing questions. Xref creates ease of use but delegate a super user to assist with creating consistency. It still requires candidate contact to make sure they understand the process and who appropriate referees are. A communication plan to let your clients/stakeholders know about how to use Xref would also be a good change management strategy during implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Quicker turnaround times compared to verbal references. More time can be spent on other value add tasks. The ability to report on the statistics/quality of the references coming back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love that gathering references is made easy by the online platform. Xref saves me time so I don't have to call each candidate. I like that I can share the results with hiring managers and the emails I receive when the references are completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The price is pretty expensive per reference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
