It is quite cumbersome and not easily intuitive. The customer interface leaves something to be desired. **What problems is XMPie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ease of creating variable data for print. The tool's functionality handles images and text better than other tools we have used. ### 2. It is fairly easy to modify and is a great solution if you need to create web-to-print storefronts for your customers. There is a XMPie user group on google that is useful when you need questions answered with a big audience that is waiting and willing to help out.They are knowledgeable and are able to help out with most issues. There is a great marketing platform you can get with it as well called Circle. you can do multi-channel marketing campaigns with it. **What do you dislike about XMPie?** You do need someone who is knowledgeable with html, css and mySQL if you want to get pretty custom. Getting response from their support can sometimes be a lengthy process. As long as you don't need something fixed right away then their support is great. **Recommendations to others considering XMPie:** Have someone who is dedicated to using it and building it out. Then have someone else who is trained so they can take over if anything goes wrong. The training for this is pretty robust. If you get someone knowledgeable enough and a go-getter then they will be able to do some pretty custom stuff. There is a xmpie user group on google that is quite useful as well for when you have questions. **What problems is XMPie solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a printing company so we build web-to-print storefronts for our customers so that they can re-order and order more of all their marketing collateral. This is great for franchises who want to make sure their branding is consistent across all locations. ### 3. In addition, it provides us with fully flexible and advanced workflows. Another great advantage of this tool is that it allows you to plan, manage and administer different multichannel marketing campaigns. **What do you dislike about XMPie?** It has a fairly steep learning curve, its use requires advanced and technical knowledge. The technical support service is slow and their responses are imprecise. **Recommendations to others considering XMPie:** My recommendation to other users is that they take some training or course prior to using the software, so that they can become familiar with its characteristics and functionalities. I also suggest that users evaluate the different pricing plans so that they can purchase the one that best suits the requirements and needs of the organization. **What problems is XMPie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our experience with this tool has been completely positive, since we implemented this software we have managed to significantly expand our market, we have also managed to increase our income and improve the relationship with our clients. ### 9. I was able to create templates with variable data connections. **What do you dislike about XMPie?** The learning curve was a little difficult. There were specific ways to complete an upload and if you miss one step the whole thing broke. There wasn't an easy way to determine where I went wrong. **Recommendations to others considering XMPie:** Once you learn it it's a great tool.
