## Weekly Update Reviews
  ### 1. Very good tool to manage the objectives of the team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentina R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

It is a tool that allows you to concisely manage the objectives, commitments and achievements of the teams, which helps to optimize meetings, organization of tasks, without losing focus on the OKR of the organization.
With the tool we can have visibility of the obstacles and concerns of the team to solve them much faster

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

I would improve the visualization of the Update, perhaps adding some options in which employees can place their status of their actions and leave comments, before the meeting or so that both the leader and the other colleagues can be aligned and propose ideas and solutions if it is necessary.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to organize the team's work, to share clear objectives so that the team's path can be aligned. It has allowed me to streamline meetings, share experiences, suggestions among team member

  ### 2. Organizing the workflow for team by weekly updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mugdha S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

I love the fact that it schedules mail for update with form link weekly to get the status. Also the dashboard is neat, and intuitive for new users. I got no confusions when I joined weekly updates first as each feature has clear goal and clear instruction for how to use. Also it organizes updates in separate section which makes it easy to read for the admin. It almost replaces the need to have update meets. Also even for new joinees I don't need to first ask them to onboard on weekly update, they can fill the form without signing in and can do that later if needed. The highlight of Weekly update is "Ease of use".

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

Well there is almost nothing that I disliked. But if we really looks closely then I wanted to add a feature of reminder mail if someone misses to fill the update form. Also the pricing is little on high end that can be reduced.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am the project supervisor for an opensource application called "OCR assign". Where 5 contributors are working under me. To get the weekly updates I use this tool as text messages from contributors get lost and I don't have time to create google form each time for the updates. That is why weekly update solves my problem of automation and customizable forms in an organized way.

  ### 3. Review of Weekly Update.

  ### 4. Very useful for the small or big team handle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish C. | Test engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

I like that very much as it works for supporting and sharing the info within the team like update and project discussion broadcast emails and any related info which we want to send everyone in the team became easy and customizable.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

Nothing as of now will try to add this to multiple teams and will try to get more feedback and will get back if any changes are required thanks for the support.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initially, we are using internal tools to make collaboration within the team for status and backlog discussion for the sprint wise, now we are free with this problem and we can do this job easily and share the info and status via email and broadcast info with the team mates and also we can maintain the auto sending email based on the changes in plan.

  ### 5. Always Up to Date

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robby B. | Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

I enjoy how efficient it has made our team regarding staff meetings, accurate minutes, and disseminating those minutes to the group in a timely manner. Our meeting times are down, and our productivity is up!

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

Nothing at this time. The system is easy to use and allows for all members of the team to utilize it effectively.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our staff meetings and updates typically took up too much time, and it was pervasive for our staff meetings to go over the time constraint. Fortunately, Weekly Update has allowed us to be more efficient in sharing our updates/content with the team qualifying for more time to be productive and work with our customers and projects.

  ### 6. Great simple product for more efficient team management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

I love the simplicity of this product. There are not many bells and whistles, just a simple interface to set up prompts to receive concise feedback for meetings and management catchups.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

The pricing is a little steep for what you get in the product. The free plan is great, but it only allows four users. As soon as you have more people needing the product, you are paying $19/mth, and I think for what you get, that's a little expensive.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More efficient team management

  ### 7. Amazing tool to use with project management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** priya b. | HR Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

The features, the ease to track the progress report and updates

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

Nothing that I could get much but definitely a little more detailed in tracking, that might help. But still great tool

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Progress tracking is easy this way and assigning of tasks to the team members

  ### 8. If they just allowed more than 1 admin - this would be the perfect tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

It's easy to use.
Fast to set-up.
Saves the team time.
Helps keep folks connected.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

The fact it just has one admin is really frustrating. I would roll this across my entire organization in a heartbeat, but it's a major, major limitation. You can't even transfer the account to a new person. Sharing credentials isn't a real solution. I would happily pay more for that feature.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us stay connected as a remote team easily and makes our meetings more efficient.

  ### 9. Best Experience with Weekly Update

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

It saves lot of time and makes the meeting the shorter than conventional meetings. It keeps the updates at minimal and shares the weekly update with emails as well.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

There is no much option or features available as of now.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is one of the best progress tracking tool for the small scale buisness, it will save lot of time by keeping shorter meetings and helps us track all the updates through email.

  ### 11. Helping our team collaborate and move in right direction

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

The auto reminder notifications and the ease of weekly update getting logged with us during our meeting to take notes

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

It can be made versatile from the integration standpoint so that it is easy to use other softwares

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insuring that all cross functional teams collaborate and add value to thr company goal and there is no scope for information leaked or breakage

  ### 12. Go to software to provide goal clarity to teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

It helps to maintain records of meeting and key business metrics in writing and helps to keep team-mates stay updated and align to the team and company goal

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

It can be improved further by making integrations available with existing CRMs and HRMS tools

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping our remote team to collaborate well and stay updated on the latest and team plans

  ### 13. Easy to collaborate with big teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

I love that it shares status updates quickly and no one has to follow up as well so there is no additional responsibility of having status calls or asking for updates via slack

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

Could be time consuming sometimes to explain bigger issue which can be easily done via Skype call

**Recommendations to others considering Weekly Update:**

Definitely consider the time that you are using for your daily sync up calls if it exceeds more than four hours per week I will definitely recommend weekly update

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avoid daily sync up calls as it was taking too much time and would not yield any results and deviate from what's the topic too much.

Now with Covid the team meetings have really increased and takes up a lot of my time which I could be spending I'm actually solving issues.

There are benefits using weekly update as I am always informed on what my team is doing and I don't have to spend so much time on them

  ### 14. Quick updates that get right to the point

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyrell L. | Associate Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

There are lots of productivity and project management solutions with tons of features that can cause lots of confusion, stress and clutter. Often times, I prefer using a solution like Weekly Update that keeps us posted on critical information and lets us work out most of the details on our own. Weekly Update has a simple interface with straightforward functionality. I like getting notified through email since I usually have notification I can get instantly on my phone.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

Weekly Update does a good job at what it focuses on doing, so I can't say anything bad about my experience with it thus far. Of course, when we do want to have more collaborative features, we'll have to use a different application.

**Recommendations to others considering Weekly Update:**

I'd use Weekly Update for basic status updates. Even though there aren't as many productivity features as many other software, it can be a good fit for teams that like to keep things simple and work better independently.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weekly Update enables us to have an automated type of notification system that updates the entire group on individual progress. I think that since many people are often working on their own, Weekly Update helps to periodically mesh everyone's activities together and put them in perspective of group goals. It's a good reminder system to make sure each group member is on pace to finish their work as initially specified.

  ### 15. Weekly Update gets right to the point and is very effective

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth H. | Marketing Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

I like how Weekly Update keeps it super simple and just focuses on the basic aspects of project group reporting. There is no sign-in needed and we don't have to learn about any software, which is something that could stumble up certain people and cause slow downs in overall project updates. Weekly Update is as easy to use as email is, so virtually everyone has no problems using it. I like that it updates on a weekly basis so we're not bombarded with constant updates that can through our attention away from actually working.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

Though there is certainly value and benefits to having a simple and straightforward project updates setup like Weekly Update has, it can be restricting in that it doesn't allow for robust discussions and follow-ups that are easy to access in login and dashboard type of setup. I think having the option to sign up for an account with compiled information for everyone would be great.

**Recommendations to others considering Weekly Update:**

Weekly Update has a basic plan that will allow you to try it out with a few users. I think you'll be able to assess whether or not it can fit your group needs if you use if for just a few days.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weekly Update serves to remind and keep everyone in our department updated on weekly events so that is minimal confusion and misunderstandings about work activities and the status of tasks. We generally don't have to worry about training people and people not being able to use this platform properly. Since it's virtually as easy to use as email, it's usually no big deal for everyone to participate.

  ### 16. I am much more informed and confident with all group activities with this app

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seth T. | Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

I really like that Weekly Update is very simple to use and gives us valuable group information on a regular basis. Instead of having to fool around with more complex productivity software that can be agonizing to maintain, we can simply enter basic information and follow up with people as needed. The pricing is very low for our budget and we can add many users to it.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

I think the simplistic nature of Weekly Update isn't ideal if you want more tools and features that you can access at any given moment. There are no robust chatting or other communications and file sharing tools as their are in more premium work productivity applications. That's probably not what more users are interested in with Weekly Update though.

**Recommendations to others considering Weekly Update:**

I think that Weekly Update can be an ideal productivity solution for those that want to keep things as simple as possible. If you'd like a mixture of simple and advance, you might want to consider integrations with Zapier and other productivity applications based in the cloud.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weekly Update has been effective at keeping each member in our department updated on basic tasks without requiring lots of time to administer. We can all sign up and join the group quickly, which is helpful since some people are not as technologically gifted as others. The work information we get allows us to reduce the amount of calls we make and emails we send and lets us stay on track to actually finishing our work.

  ### 17. Weekly Update has improved my ability to stay connected to everyone in my department

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric N. | Marketing Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

I was able to sign up and start using Weekly Update with several members of my team within just a few minutes. The way Weekly Update works is so simple and straightforward. I like not having to fuss with lots of different window panes in collaboration software, calendars and charts. I can just enter my basic weekly information and get back to work. I can also just read basic information from everyone else.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

I would prefer to be able to customize the information I enter and have displayed from others more. I think sticking to the simple weekly update type of format is good though.

**Recommendations to others considering Weekly Update:**

To give your and your co-workers better insight into each other's activities, you should try using Weekly Update. It doesn't have the complete collaboration features of many other applications, but that could be a great quality for those that don't want a disruption of daily status updates.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team doesn't have to take as much time contacting each other for status updates either through phone calls, emails or meetings. Even when we aren't on a particularly tight deadline, Weekly Update is good way for us to maintain contact and build comradery and a better understanding of what everyone is doing on a regular basis. I think it also helps everyone feel like the have an outlet for getting credit for their work without seeming like they're bragging about it.

  ### 18. Simple, concise and effective for keeping teams informed

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gael N. | Associate Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

The simplicity is what I like the most. Unlike other collaboration and productivity tools that have countless tools and features that can overcomplicate matters, Weekly Update makes updating your team straightforward and uncluttered. The user interface is clean and easy to use. I like that I have reliably received updates without any issue thus far. It's also nice to be able to manage the tool through just our email accounts and basic links.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

Simplicity is great much of the time, but it would be nice to have more advanced tools that can allow us to break down project information and activities further. Weekly Update's service is essentially contained in other platforms in a different form, so it can sometimes be more efficient to just use one platform for everything.

**Recommendations to others considering Weekly Update:**

I think that Weekly Update is a good solution for simple status updates that could at least give your team members something to consistently reference without having to formally check in with calls or meetings.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weekly Update helps to keep everyone regularly updated, which can lead to fewer meetings, calls, emails and other types of communication that could soak up valuable team. It's a simple platform that just about anyone can use without much training, so there is very little barrier to entry or complications after more people I work with get started. My and my work team have been able to complete many projects more quickly and with minimal work-related issues or communication problems.

  ### 19. Yes, you can have less boring meetings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer B. | Director of Communications and Administrative Services, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Weekly Update?**

We’re a team of five that used to spend most of our weekly meeting rehashing what happened last week. It was a struggle to get everyone engaged in what needs to be their focus going forward. They are also not big note-takers. Since we’ve been using Weekly Update, there’s no longer an expectation that people will be allowed to use up the meeting talking about what’s already in their report, and they have written information that eliminates the need for note-taking.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

You can’t save a partially written report. There’s no “save” button, only “send.”

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For my team, it’s freed up meeting time to talk about future projects and challenges.

**What do you dislike about Weekly Update?**

- Only supports 1 administrator per account

**Recommendations to others considering Weekly Update:**

Get your team started on it right, away, don't wait! You'll be pleasantly surprised at how much your team members will enjoy using it as well.

**What problems is Weekly Update solving and how is that benefiting you?**
