"Fantastic Free Business Accounting Option with Payroll, Invoices and Online Payments!"
What do you like best about Wave?

It's free to use and do all your accounting. It is easy to get your reports to do taxes or just look at your P & L's. It works great and is quite easy. You can do payroll with it but you do have to pay for that, so if you are a tiny business it works great as you don't need payroll. You can also take online ACH and Credit Card payments. There are fees per payment but they are decently reasonable and they just send the payment to your bank account minus the fee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

The only thing I really don't like is the recurring invoices. It does not name them correctly so instead of going Maintenance Contract Billing 1 then 2 then 3 it gives random names from last invoices you made that don't even have to do with the customer. So I have to rename them and send them instead of having Wave do it automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust but uncomplicated"
What do you like best about Wave?

Wave has features that were lacking in other comparable programs. I use the invoice function quite a bit as I bill clients for hourly work. It automatically numbers invoices sequentially, keeps track of paid and unpaid invoices and has an easy set up to accept credit cards and bank payments, a feature lacking in many other basic business programs. It keeps track of income and expenses and will integrate with its accounting function, which I use sparingly because my needs are not great in this regard. I particularly like the fact that it will create receipts to send when payments are received. Invoices and receipts are very polished and professional looking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

The only suggestions I have for Wave is that it should keep track of client emails across functions so I don't have to manually enter it when sending receipts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great accounting QuickBooks alternative"
What do you like best about Wave?

Wave is easy to use, and works very much like QuickBooks. A minimal learning curve also has a mobile app. It also allows you to send recurring invoices with several reminders Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

Not sure I have found what I dislike about it yet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wave Accounting Review"
What do you like best about Wave?

That it's free! And honestly, it has been absolutely perfect for my small business. I've been using it for about 10 years now and the software continues to improve all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

Sometimes the improvements come along pretty slowly, and I've had some minor issues disconnecting old businesses that are no longer in existence, but it really hasn't caused any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good tool for every entrepreneur"
What do you like best about Wave?

It makes accounting and invoicing very easy to do. I am able to prepare accounts with minimum accounting entries Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

It has restricted usage in other countries that even needed this tool the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple & Easy"
What do you like best about Wave?

How easy WAVE is to use when sending my clients invoices. I love that it gives you the option to select when you want it to send out reminders if an invoice hasn't been paid. The reporting options are also beneficial, especially when it comes to tax season and wrapping up the fiscal year. WAVE makes everything easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

The only frustration I have with WAVE is when it comes to uploading and tracking receipts. Each receipt has to be uploaded manually, which can be monotonizing. It would also be nice if WAVE automatically applied any late fees we have once an invoice becomes overdue. Save us from having to add in the late fees automatically Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Small Biz Accounting System"
What do you like best about Wave?

I love how easy Wave is to use, how I can track all expenses, and run reports whenever I need them. Super easy to send invoices, get online payment and now even add payment links to websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

A recent update makes uploading receipts a bit harder, but still easy to do. I just Iiked how you could upload them and the AI prefilled much of the info. Now it feels like a 3 step process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Only Way My Business Runs!"
What do you like best about Wave?

I love that Wave is free to use & easy to use. The fact that I can set up recurring invoices for my customers and manually send them is a major plus! I also really appreciate that Wave has an app that I can use so that I don't have to be connected to my computer constantly. We have not yet started to use their payment system, but it is something that we are considering.mpant. We will most likely begin to use their online payment system at the beginning of the new year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

The downside to Wave might be that I cannot set custom reminders. I have to use the pre-set times they have programmed into the system. Payments at our company are not late until the 10th of the month & I would like the option to set up reminders just then. However, this is a minor issue to get over when you consider how great Wave is! I can overlook this minor issue just to use Wave at my company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wave is the Best Accounting Software for Bootstraping Business"
What do you like best about Wave?

Wave App has given our small business the accounting power of a large company. It is simple, easy to navigate, and we don't find it limiting. Great for showing the tax man what he wants to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

At one point, our debits were showing up as credits, and our credits were showing up as debits. This was solved later and might have been an issue with our bank. The customer service is non-existent on the free version so, if you have any issues, you are out of luck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing (free) accounting software for solo member businesses"
What do you like best about Wave?

It's free, completely functional for accounting software, straightforward to learn, and can grow with you as your business grows. Once you start using the paid features, you'll find that it's very competitive pricing compared to alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wave?

They've made some changes to their design layout and user interface that made some accounting tasks take more clicks. However, they've made some adjustments to improve that and seem to be constantly working on their product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
