**What do you like best about Vitally?**

They seem to be adding more an more integrations which is great, I just wish they are more Microsoft focussed rather than Google.

The new updates to Vitally including their AI assist and copilot are amazing timesavers and really help you get that account view in a hurry if you're a big note taker and have a lot of calls like me! (Which I'm sure isn't rare!) - the Ai summary gives you an account overview based on your notes and sentiment etc over a chosen time frame, and you can ask it certain questions for follow up tasks, specifics around sentiment and anything else it might be able to gather from your input/insights.

As part of the new layout, they've added pinned properties so you can focus your main areas on the account screen for a quick check snapshot which is really handy. 

Additionally allowing you to edit historical ARR/MRR which honestly doesn't sound big but if you've had to add this in from poor data previously, trust me, it's massive. Especially if you're starting mid-financial year, for example.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

The new UI is good, but it takes a little getting used to and I wish a few of the "pinned" fields where just editable on the fly but you still have to go into the all fields section to update them. Ever so slightly misleading if you're not used to it but otherwise the new UI and layout is great.

I love the fact Vitally are constantly integrating with new providers and the list is growing, however the features such as meetings/calendars, the upcoming notes recorder, all seem to be tailored more to "google" or "Gmail" emails and doesn't really provide a suitable alternative to Microsoft / Teams users. I can see Slack is now there, hoping for Teams too!

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all of our data consistent, all in one place and having a 360 view of our clients regardless of the communication medium and platform they use - it's all in one place. It also allows us to overhaul our onboarding process and make this a lot smoother as it's all in one place, rather than having to refer to separate notes, documents or applications depending on the stage of onboarding.
Additionally, any/all emails, tickets, messages and meetings are all in one so we don't miss a thing.

It also allows us to add the sales and marketing teams to see and gleam the data from this where needed as it's useful information even if they don't have/need a license directly. This helps track client advocacy, health, retention and revenue all in one place.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I love the customizability. Anything you want to see, as long as you can get it connected, you can look at for your customers.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

The customization is the blessing and the curse. You're setting everything up for yourself - out-of-the-box functionality is pretty limited, and if your system doesn't connect directly with Vitally? That's a lot of work-arounds. Support is pretty hands off, as well - the folks are nice, but they're not there to build anything for you. Teach a person to fish and all that.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a large book of business as a CSM means that it can be difficult to see all of your account in one place. And with a small crew of CSM, having as much automation as possible is key. Vitally provides the ability to do all that and plenty more.

It was a little difficult to understand at first. But regular use made it very easy to understand where i can get specific info.

The UI could be more intuitive but at the same time, I still heavily enjoy this tool and would not count this as a derogatory mark.  Friendly Tip: Make sure your internal data is organized and ready to deploy!

Vitally’s interface is exceptionally user-friendly—everything from the navigation menu to the dashboard widgets feels logical and easy to pick up. I was able to build and filter views in minutes, and the customizable widgets surface exactly the customer metrics I need without jumping through hoops. Onboarding was painless thanks to clear labels, straightforward logic, and responsive in-app guidance.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

The core UX is solid, but the platform could be even more powerful with expanded syncing capabilities. Right now, integrations beyond the basics feel limited—bi-directional sync with Zendesk (and other tools like Slack, Salesforce, etc.) would save countless manual updates. I’d love to see more built-in connectors or a more flexible API layer to keep data flowing seamlessly across our stack.

Vitally saves me so much time in researching my customer accounts. In my dad-to-day I'm mentally switch between 45-50 different accounts. The AI summary helps me helps me synthesize my account in a easy way. Vitally is one of three tools that I'm logging into daily.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

I wish there was a better tab system which allowed me to keep account pages open. Right now I have to open tabs in a new web page. Which isn't a horrible work around but disrupts my workflow slightly.

Consolidating account information to a single tool. It's saving me time from having to flip between apps to find necessary info.

Health score indicator for an account, customization, ability to import data from other analytics tools, creating our own data views, sending messages to customers through vitally, automations for creating tasks related to customers, analytics charts.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

It's my first time using such a tool (this is also my first job), so I found it a bit hard to understand, adopt, and customise it to my liking and usage. But, their onboarding team was helpful as they organized a session to onboard us. Sometimes, the website glitches and clicking on the page does not work. I have to close and reopen the tab. I also could not find the option to create recurring tasks.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were struggling with using Google Sheets to track customer signups, cancellations, and onboarding implementation. Vitally allows us to create separate views/tables for separate user segments for easy tracking. We are able to link external data sources so we see information relating to the account, in real time, all at one place. It saves a lot of back and forth.

What is most helpful is the easy syncing of meeting notes from my Google calendar. There are so many features that I appreciate and all of the templates are extremely useful in helping me finish my reports/notes. I use this website every day for work and it is absolutely wonderful.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

What is least helpful is that the contacts are not synced properly despite them being on our Google Calendar, I am not able to notify my guests what I have written notes on during my meeting. I wish this was fixed as it is a huge downside of the website.

Vitally is helping making sure that our business is doing well and that we are observing our employees well. It is also a great benefit to have reports on Vitally to track documentation of specific incidents.

Great ability to filter to your hearts content, create specialised hubs for segmentation as well as sending bulk emails directly from the app.

The product is decent, but you could create something similar with Retool or even your CRM at a much lower cost.

The onboarding process was a complete disaster. After spending nearly a year attempting to get everything set up, we ultimately gave up. Their team seemed completely clueless when it came to assisting us with implementation in a way that would actually generate revenue.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

Most software for CSMs is not useful. But, I do have to say using Vitally has made my life a little easier as a CSM. This is my first time using it at my current company and the reason it works is not only the reliability and ease of use. But also because our admins have configured it to match what we need as end-users (which is of course always key to making a system be an actual success).

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

There's some persistent issues with its Salesforce integration. That's really it.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving me a command center to manage my BoB and have a 360 view of every aspect of my customer's engagement with our team (both comms and product usage).

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

Instead of having info scattered into sales-oriented CRMs, custom backoffice tools, and spreadsheets - we now have a fit for purpose tool for Customer Success, including data coming from various sources, NPS monitoring, customer health, workflow and automation for onboarding flows, etc. Truly a go-to tool for every day.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

To truly get the most value out of Vitally, you need to invest in implementation and training. There's a bit of a learning curve (albeit small if you compare it with the big CRM monsters).

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Finding out info / configs about our customers that we'd otherwise have to look into our backoffice or elsewhere
- See net ARR/MRR evolution over time, for a customer, for a region, a cohort, etc
- NPS / customer health
- Run automation/workflows for self-service or nearly-self-service onboarding

It's malleable, I can change how I see data. I love that it is customizable.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

I would love to know if there is a way to create a table/spreadsheet where I can enter a running tracker of exercises my customers are conducting. I would prefer this so I don't have to open each customer to see who is running what exercise and when. Would love a quick way to reference data cross-sectionally between all my customers.

It helps me to stay on task with the current and upcoming requirements that each customer is approaching. It helps to streamline the process of customer success while also being precise and accurate!

The ease of implementation was incredible.  We were up and running within a few short weeks. I also appreciate the ease of integration with the data we wanted to import into Vitally.  We've been able to improve our efficiency and reduce the number of spreadsheets we were previously using.  

The ability to weight health scores based on customer type has improved our health score accuracy.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

We came from a competitive product that had a lot of promises, but the reality did not match up. The other platform had features that weren't fully implemented, data loss incidents that cost us time and money, and a support team that wasn't empowered to help. 

Vitally has been a breath of fresh air. Once we had it set up, it all just worked. The reporting is excellent, and available to our whole team. The NPS tracking has given us good insight into customer health, and is improving our retention. It's a flexible platform and we've been able to make it work the way we like.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

There are some specific use cases (e.g. customer pulses) that could be tracked and shared in a nicer format. The data and functionality is there, it's just not as polished as it could be.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving retention by tracking how our customers are using our software, and identifying ways our CS team can help customers take advantage of our platform. 
Improving retention by calculating a rolling NPS score, and identifying superfans and customers facing challenges.
Reporting on retention and renewal internally to gain a better understanding of key metrics at the executive level.
Sharing customer sentiment and challenges across internal teams helps everyone in the company understand our customers better.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

If your integrations are set up correctly, it is the perfect tool to bring together all relevant infomation for your CS team. We integrate our product, amplitude, and Hubspot - which means I can evaluate any relevant cilent data in once place. 

I also like that you can use it as acommuncation tool between teams/ indivduals where things are less likely to get buried like it would in something like Slack.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

The UI can be overwhelming at first. Once you learn how to turn on and off various filters or views/ create your own dashboards, things get much easier to navigate. The integrations can be challenging and complicated to set up, so having clean data is super important.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an AM, I am able to evaluate the health of a client, usage/ adoption metrics, relevant conract information, and notes on the client, before walking into a renewal or expansion conversation. I am able to be more informed as well as 'bug' the CSMs less because all of the key info I need is on the platform.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

The best thing about Vitally is that it is super customizable. This means that you can create workflows that are specific to your customer journey and the specific use cases that your team needs. Our team has also benefited immensely from the ability to surface specific data to CSMs and given us opportunities to automate outreach that comes from the CSM. In addition, the customer support we've received has been amazing. I feel like Vitally is a trusted partner is advancing the processes in our CS org.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

I do think that learning Vitally takes a bit of time and investment, since it is so customizable. You really need to have people on your team who are invested in "figuring out" the best ways to make Vitally work for your company and team. In addition, it's hard for somebody who is outside of your processes and org to log in and instantly understand the value that the org is getting, since each Vitally view is so customizable to the person using it. It's not necessarily "intuitive", especially if somebody new just logs in without the proper set up (or understanding that they need to do a set up).

The big problem that Vitally is helping to solve is automating our workflows and helping us surface the right data and playbooks to our CSMs.

I like that we can configure and integrate platforms without the need for developers. The screens are simple and easy to manage. They provide many examples of how you should do things, which helps to configure journeys, alerts, health indicators, and more.

It is expensive for Latin America and although it is worth it, it costs the same as hiring a person for a year, which makes it difficult to justify this expense in small teams of less than 10 people.

Resolve the task management of CSM teams. When you have many clients, you need to have a task reminder and alert system to stay close to the client. As an administrator, just by reviewing the pending activities and clients weekly, the risk improves the efficiency of my team a lot.

I Love widely because it has a great integration capability with our technical platform as well as our CRM systems. Using this tool we were able to measure critical customer behavior, establish predictive churn metrics, and use our dashboards in a day-to-day operation of monitoring customer behavior.

In general, I love the user experience in Vitally. One thing that could be improved is the filtering option to look for custom traits or predefined properties. Also, it is relatively non-trivial to define traits based on mathematical operations, for example, how to aggregate the total customer deal values over several deals with various validity intervals.

The custom objects feature, we use it to collect and quantify customer feedback.

I wish it was easier for client user to collaborate on projects, currently they can only view and comment
I did not love the implementation approach. Being based in APAC delayed our search for an implementation specialist, and when assigned, they seemed pressured to meet their own schedule. Despite multiple requests to refrain, they continued to email other leadership members that were never involved about the project.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

The data filtering is great. Being able to have a customized dashboard with my client book, where my values are, where my clients are based on score, so I can act on things at a glance. I really like the ease of account management and integration with things like Gong which takes advantage of their call summary. It's really a great tool that's my home base for my work day. I use Vitally every day all day to manage what my work is going to look like for the day, week, and month. I also love the task automation setups so a new client drops in and I already have a full schedule of what I'm supposed to do!

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

The only critique I have for Vitally is very specific.  Every integration helps and in this case, our regular help ticketing system doesn't directly integrate. There are work arounds but it would be great if y'all integrated with HelpScout directly and did a domain lookup to match regular help questions into a customer account on vitally for communications.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is really slicing up clients  well so I can hold a larger book without being overwhelmed. What was a LOT of manual work in excel is now about setting up reports and having them show so I can take action more effectively. It's also great for handoff since the history of comms, and linking out to the various other platforms is in there.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I'm a general user (CSM), and my company just implemented Vitally. It's seems like our Ops team was able to configure this all fairly quickly without much of a headache. Our MVP launch of Vitally is already pretty well buttoned up. The integrations are great - My calendar syncs to my clients, so I just need to open the meeting in Vitally and all the contacts, dates, and agenda already pipes in. I just need to take notes. AND THEN we're beta testing a sync with Gong, so I don't even have to take notes, Gong does it for me! HA

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

Honestly, I've used a few different CS tools (Gainsight, Planhat, Catalyst) and the learning curve here isn't too crazy. I use Vitally daily, and it hasn't slowed me down at all.

Vitally organizes all active clients, syncing data from all the necessary places. Our team rolled out implementation fairly quickly, so we were able to see usage pretty much immediately.

Vitally allows me to focus on the most important parts of my clients - Customer Health. A centralized place to view your book of business, Vitally's well-thought-out functionality surpassed my expectations at first walkthrough. Widgets allow me to create my own dashboards, and seperation of accounts from the overall company and my own book of business allows me to visualize my own status with my clients as well as the organization. This has empowered myself and my team to be better prepared for client touchpoint calls, value reviews, and maintain an overall picture of our client health. I couldn't be happier!

Integrations aren't perfect within CRMs like HubSpot, but I understand how difficult it is to have clear integrations with other platforms. NPS is limited without an upgrade, which we are paying quite a bit already.

Vitally's UI is very familiar, it reminds me a bit of Notion. If you have used it before it will feel easier to create Hubs, Pages, and Tasks. I like having all my accounts and account info in one place as it reduces the amount of switching between Vitally and Salesforce.

Vitally is also super collaborative which allows our team to become fully engrained and use it as a daily tool rather than just for account information.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

Vitally is still young and is building out its integrations. I'd love to see one with Zoom and more out of the box with Zapier and other task management softwares.

Vitally houses all our CS information which is great because it currently lives in many places. Having one CRM designed for CS is definitely a game changer.
