I like how easy VelocityEHS is to use and that it has minimal technical issues. It’s also great that I don’t have to involve our IT department nearly as much as other departments do with their specific software. The initial setup was fairly straightforward, which saved time and effort. On top of that, the software supports efficient reporting and makes it simple for users to submit reports. When I submit a support request, it takes forever to get a response, and then when I finally do hear back, I don’t have much time to reply before they close the ticket. I appreciate the update of the SDS. I also like the ease with which one can find the product, as well as the ability to print all of our products, especially the SDS, in our binder. The safety data sheets (SDS) are mainly in English, whereas in Quebec, we are required to have them in French. This is really a big negative point for me. Additionally, the ability to print simple labels on our products is insufficient, and there is a lack of backup phrases, for example. Finally, I had difficulties setting up VelocityEHS, so it wasn't easy for me, even though it might have been a bit easier for other people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. There are many upsides to utilizing the Velocity EHS Software, with the best being the SDS search and ability to create multiple locations within one another. A request that I believe would help this application better outpace risk would be to implement more in training for general users/ our employees without logins, and more available information on getting this system implemented through the link and QRcode. I like how VelocityEHS handles all EHS reporting, including task management throughout our mill locations. The out-of-the-box forms and workflow are great; they work very well with our users. The user-friendliness of VelocityEHS ensures we're getting complete information because users feel comfortable using the system. I also like the support and training provided by the VelocityEHS team. I find the mobile friendliness of VelocityEHS could be improved. I prefer not to need to load apps to use the system on mobile phones. I would love to be able to assign global actions, like creating an action for every safety manager at a group of mill locations. The initial setup was complicated and required many workshops and lots of testing since we were part of the first group of customers to launch with the Accelerate platform. I really like the Velocity platform. It’s easy to use, intuitive, and makes it simple to assess employee activities in a consistent way. The layout and workflow make it easy to capture observations, identify gaps, and reinforce best practices without creating extra admin work for leaders or operators. One area for improvement would be the ability to group related task steps or activities together instead of having to break everything down into individual videos. Being able to bundle multiple steps into a single task or workflow and assess them as a group would make evaluations more efficient and better reflect how the work is actually performed in the field. Velocity EHS helps solve the problem of inconsistent safety assessments and limited visibility into how work is actually being performed in the field. It gives us a simple, structured way to assess tasks, document observations, and identify risks before they lead to incidents. A recent example is when I used Velocity EHS to assess the tote filling process, it helped ensure operators were performing the task safely, following the expected steps, and using the right controls, while also giving us a clear record of what was observed and what needed improvement. I have limited use of Velocity EHS - specifically the Chemical Management side of things. I like that we can add SDS documents and they automatically get updated when new revisions come out.
