Reviewers highlight automated alert triage, centralized incident tracking, fast threat response, and integrations that support complex SOC workflows.

Tines Stories: Scores 92 on the Grid. Security reviewers use it to automate alert enrichment, phishing investigations, routing, and repetitive incident-response steps, giving analysts more time for deeper investigation.

Microsoft Sentinel: Reviewers value centralized visibility across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. Automation rules and playbooks help cut manual triage and move analysts from alerts to investigation faster.

n8n: Offers flexible workflow automation for teams that want to connect security tools and automate repetitive actions, though dedicated SOAR platforms may provide more security-specific functionality out of the box.

The biggest automation opportunity may be everything analysts do before making an actual response decision. Enrichment, deduplication, reputation checks, asset context, and ticket creation can consume a surprising amount of time without requiring much judgment. I’d automate those repetitive steps first and keep destructive remediation behind approval until the playbooks prove reliable.
