"Easy, Powerful Browser-Based Video Editing with Time-Saving Auto Subtitles"
What do you like best about VEED?

What I like most about VEED is how easy it is to use while still offering quite powerful features. The interface is very clean and intuitive, so you can start editing videos quickly without needing much prior experience.

I also find the automatic subtitles and text tools really helpful, especially for creating content for social media. It saves a lot of time compared to doing everything manually.

Another thing I like is that it’s browser-based, so I don’t have to download heavy software, and I can work on projects from anywhere. Overall, it’s a good balance between simplicity and functionality, which makes it ideal for quick edits and content creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

One downside is that it can sometimes feel a bit limited compared to more advanced editing software, especially for more complex projects. Certain features like fine-tuned editing controls or advanced effects aren’t as in-depth as you’d get with professional tools.

I’ve also noticed that performance can occasionally lag when working on larger or more detailed videos, particularly in the browser.

Another small drawback is that some of the more useful features are behind a paywall, which can be a bit restrictive if you’re just starting out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very helpful and Time Saving Video Editor with Subtitles, Clean Audio and Eye Contact Features"
What do you like best about VEED?

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic and also create health education content, so I make videos regularly for my work.

What I like best about VEED is that it is very easy to use and I was able to start without any technical issue. I use it almost daily. One feature I really liked is eye contact, it makes the video look more natural even if I am not looking perfectly at camera, this helps in my teaching type videos.

Auto subtitles is very useful, it quickly adds captions and makes my videos more clear for viewers. I also use clean audio which improves voice quality when recording is not perfect. Sometimes I use remove silences option also, it cuts small pauses and makes video more smooth without extra effort.

Basic editing like cut, trim and making short clips is simple and fast, so I can create short content easily. Everything is in one place, so I dont need to switch tools again and again. It fits well in my workflow and I can export videos without any issue. Overall it saves time and helps me make clear and better videos for my daily content work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

when I work on slightly longer videos, the editing can feel a bit slow, especially while previewing changes. It does not stop the work, but I have to wait little sometimes. Sometimes while using multiple options like audio clean or removing pauses, the processing takes some time before final output. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential, Intuitive Video Editing with Powerful AI Features"
What do you like best about VEED?

VEED has become an essential tool in my video production workflow. The UI/UX is incredibly intuitive — the drag-and-drop timeline editor and clean layout let me jump straight into editing without any learning curve. I can go from raw footage to polished content in minutes, not hours.

On the integrations side, VEED connects smoothly with the platforms I already use. Exporting directly to social media channels and pulling in assets from cloud storage keeps everything streamlined without needing to bounce between apps.

Performance is rock solid. Rendering is fast even with longer videos, and the browser-based editor handles high-resolution footage without lag or crashes. I never feel like I'm waiting around.

From a pricing/ROI perspective, VEED pays for itself many times over. What used to require expensive desktop software and hours of editing time now takes a fraction of the effort. The value I get relative to the subscription cost is outstanding.

Support and onboarding were seamless. The tutorials and templates got me producing quality content on day one, and anytime I've had a question, the support team has been responsive and genuinely helpful.

The AI features are where VEED truly shines. Auto-subtitles, background removal, text-to-video, and AI avatars have completely transformed how I create content for my clients. The AI tools save me hours every week and open up creative possibilities that weren't feasible before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

Honestly, there's very little to dislike. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the mobile editing experience could be a bit more refined — some of the advanced features are easier to access on desktop. Occasionally, when working with very long videos, the upload times can be slightly slower depending on my connection, but that's more of an internet issue than a VEED issue. It would also be nice to see even more third-party integrations added over time, though what's available already covers most of my needs. These are truly minor points in an otherwise excellent platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Game-Changing Captions That Streamline Video Editing"
What do you like best about VEED?

Simplicity to use - captions is a game changer - such a great and simple way to do things - ive been an early adopter so have loved it from the start but it's also got better.

Its a simple way to create and edit video - its made my workflow simpler and meant that people who can't use more premium editing tools have been able to use this and its transformed what we do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

The mobile app isn’t as good as the website, and there doesn’t seem to be much integration between the two. Other than that, though, I can’t really find fault with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Foremost Subtitling Software"
What do you like best about VEED?

I really appreciate VEED for how it lets me add subtitles to all my videos quickly and easily. It's been neccessary for creating short-form content as I typically need subtitles to match the typical Shorts style. VEED provides a solution that allows me to get all my subtitles out almost without problems, and I can have everything I need in just five minutes. It's not terribly expensive and really gets the job done, which is great for both its cost and effectiveness. The initial setup was so easy, I don't even remember it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

Every once in a while, VEED gets words wrong, but those are very quick fixes. Sometimes, it'll get most of the sentence but miss the final word. I have to shorten the thing, remove the word, and add in the words to the next column to fill the space. It's a bit of a process, but it's not terribly hard to do, and it's only rare. What do you like best about VEED?

Complete a start to finish video in Veed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

There isn’t much to dislike. If I had to choose one thing, it would be the learning curve with the UI, but that’s a normal part of getting started with any service like VEED. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Peter Janda of VEED

It's great to hear that VEED is helping you create polished videos from slide presentations. We understand that the UI learning curve can be a bit challenging, but we're continuously working on enhancing the user experience. Thank you for your valuable feedback!

"Effortless Video Editing with AI"
What do you like best about VEED?

VEED’s strongest features focus on speed, simplicity, and accessibility. As a browser-based platform, it keeps video editing fast and intuitive, with straightforward tools for trimming, resizing, adding text, and layering audio—without requiring advanced technical skills. Its automatic subtitles and transcription are a real standout, making it easy to generate captions, then edit and style them for social media and accessibility needs. VEED also includes practical AI tools such as background noise removal, filler-word deletion, text-to-speech, and basic avatars, plus built-in screen and webcam recording for tutorials and presentations. With social media templates, brand kits for consistent visuals, simple collaboration via shareable links, and clean, straightforward exports, VEED is well suited for creating polished marketing and social content efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

While VEED is convenient and fast, it also has a few drawbacks that can be frustrating, especially when I’m working on more complex projects or anything time-sensitive. The biggest issue I’ve run into is reliability: edits don’t always render correctly, and sometimes a video fails during export even after everything looks fine in the editor. When that happens, I end up having to reload, re-render, or in some cases redo parts of the work entirely. Since VEED is browser-based, performance can be inconsistent as well, with lag, freezing, or crashes—particularly on longer videos or when I’m using multiple elements, captions, or effects at the same time. "Amazing resource for generating quality social media content"
What do you like best about VEED?

One of the standout features of VEED for me is how quickly it generates closed captions, especially for social media videos. I work with a lot of content that needs to be repurposed across platforms, and having accurate captions that are easy to customize has been huge for productivity. I also really appreciate the tool that breaks down long-form videos into short social clips. It’s extremely efficient and has hoesntly saved me hours each day. Instead of spending time manually trimming, subtitling, and formatting, I can focus more on our creative strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

One limitation I've run into is the lack of a batch captioning feature. I often work with multiple videos at once, and having to add captions to each one individually can get pretty time-consuming. The auto-captioning itself is great (fast and fairly accurate) but being able to apply it to several videos at once would make a huge difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick Learning Curve and Versatile Features with VEED"
What do you like best about VEED?

I use VEED for instructional videos, training for our workplace team, and promotional TV advertisements. It enables multi-layer media and generates output with the correct FPS specs, resolution, and ratio for each platform. I appreciate having a one-stop place for AI voiceover and editing videos, which helps create a complete product. I like that the learning phase of the program is quick, allowing me to get into creating very fast, which is helpful since I don't have a lot of time to learn a program. I also appreciate the stock supply and AI features. Font availability and custom font options are good, and the initial setup of VEED was very easy. It integrated well with the export options provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

Scrubbing the uploaded media to be trimmed or cut to precise areas could be further refined. VEED could increase the AI credits included since it does not always get the output right as per the prompt and that is not the user's fault. VEED could diversify the video, audio and stock image supply; more variety would be good. Not a fan of the magic link to log in being the ONLY option. If there is an issue with that link coming, sometimes the customer support cannot reply immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Saves Time, Needs Improved Batch Uploads"
What do you like best about VEED?

I appreciate that VEED saves me a lot of time making videos. It seems very professional in its settings and options compared to other apps I've used. I like that they keep adding new features. The AI image generation and b-roll images are quite useful in every video I make, even though sometimes the AI comes up with weird pictures. I generally have to make a few changes, but for the most part, it's pretty good. I also like the stock videos and I'm glad that they are expanding those libraries. The subtitling and editing features are top-notch, being the best I've seen. It's very quick and seamless to edit and remove words or pauses. I enjoy using the filters VEED offers, even though I'm not big on filters, what is there works well for me. Additionally, the setup of VEED was quite simple and straightforward, which I really appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VEED?

I find it really hard to upload multiple videos for editing at once on VEED. It's been like that for a while, which is kind of annoying. You have to upload them one by one, and that takes longer. Given that I'm paying quite a bit for it a year, I feel like it should have all features working well, including batch uploading. Having to upload each video individually is a lot more tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
