After trying out several other uptime monitoring services, I've been quite pleased with UptimeRobot. I've been using it for a couple months now and have been impressed with its ease of use and robustness.
The interface is very straightforward, allowing you to add new websites, specify monitoring intervals, and configure alert methods in just a few clicks. Non-technical people will be able to navigate and manage uptime monitors without issue.
Unlike some other monitoring services I tried, UptimeRobot has been very reliable. - I've rarely, if ever, experienced false positives, which is crucial to preserve our staff's time (and faith in the service)! I also appreciate UptimeRobot's flexible and customizable status page - very handy both for people within our org and our website users.
Even the free plan is quite useful - offering string matching on pages, which I found was only available for paid plans from other services. Overall, I definitely recommend UptimeRobot for website monitoring! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downsides I can think of are limited options on the free plan (such as limiting checks to 5 min intervals), but you won't find another uptime monitoring service with the depth of features and ease of use as UptimeRobot's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
