# What purchasing platforms connect with existing ERP, finance and inventory systems without needing custom development work?

Integration is where a lot of purchasing rollouts get stuck, so I focused this slice of purchasing software research on tools reviewers connected to their ERP and finance systems without custom development. I framed each as the question I had going in.

PairSoft - does it plug into finance systems out of the box? Reviewers describe native connections to Microsoft Dynamics, Blackbaud, NetSuite, Oracle and Sage Intacct, with invoices flowing into the ERP without toggling between tools; building brand-new custom workflows does need developer help.

Vroozi - can it sit on top of existing systems? Reviewers say it augments their finance and ERP setup and centralizes purchasing, approvals and invoices, though it assumes some AP familiarity to get the most from it.

Medius - how well does it handle high invoice volume into the ERP? Reviewers describe smooth SAP integration processing thousands of invoices a day with auto-routing for approval; a few setup steps are easier with the vendor's help.

Coupa - does it tie finance, suppliers and punchouts together? Reviewers point to integration with ERP, finance systems and supplier portals plus punchout catalogs from the home screen; the tradeoff is a heavier, longer implementation.

For the integration-minded here: which of these connected cleanly to your ERP, and which needed more middleware or manual mapping than you expected? Anyone wire one into an inventory system specifically?

The "no custom dev" promise is doing a lot of heavy lifting in most of these marketing claims. The real question is whether your specific ERP version is on their native connector list, not just the ERP brand. Medius saying it handles SAP at high volume is great, unless you're on a non-standard SAP config, in which case you're back to calling a consultant anyway.
