It's an authoring software and has CMS/LMS like capabilities; great for small businesses that want a cost-optimized learning ecosystem. So if you're looking for an all-in-one package, this might be a good product for you. It also comes with a sandbox that you can use to deploy work in progress deliverables and test functionality as required. So yeah, a lot of good features, but do read the CONs specified below as well, these might be relevant to you. However, another thing that I really liked was the ease of getting support on this software. With a click of a button, my support request was ready to be sent. Overall, the product is not as intuitive as other software that help solve similar problems. The UI is bulky and prone to frequent crashes even with 16GB RAM. I found the 'look and feel' to be a little non-contemporary as well, although that's just a superficial observation. For me, I prefer the good 'ol storyline for similar learning problems. It allows me to create similar learning products but provides me with the means to give the learning product a more contemporary look and feel. I love that uPerform allows me to address all of the ways that people learn- it covers the entire VARK method! It is visual in that it allows for screenshots. It covers auditory learners in that you can have the lessons read to the end user. It covers Readers in that it outputs a traditional Work instruction and it covers Kinesthetic learners in the output of the Interactive "Try It," feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find that the foldering structure and basic navigation takes a little bit to get used to. It is also irritating how often I will lose work because it goes Offline. I have learned to save and check in often! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Managing administration on uPerform is slightly cumbersome. While uPerform serves quite well when basic simulator capabilities are to be used. However, it doesn't provide immersive experience that is similar to some of the other high end tools like Assima or iRise. In addition, the outputs of this tool are available in limited formats and therefore, publishing of materials to be consumed do not have multiple options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Single source publishing, very easy to capture and edit.

There's no way to obtain an individual author license, this makes in nigh on impossible as an independent contractor to "sell" the usefulness of the product to clients. The pricing of the product on a per learner basis makes it an expensive product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Standard Works can be created quickly and they are interactive, much easier to follow. I like the interactivity. We used to write standard work on Microsoft Word and this is saving now a lot of time to us. Since few people have started using this tool, lots of other colleagues have shown interest and looks like the tool is now more widely implemented across the company. creating a standard work sometimes seems to be not very easy. The tool is not the easiest one to use. Uploading the standard work on the server or on the cloud is not well understood. Also the tool takes a while to open from our computers. Another thing that can be improved is the template. When people first use uPerform is quite difficult for them to understand the logic of creating and then selecting a template in order to then create a standard work. Some tutorial for dummies would be really helpful to speed up the learning curve and make sure the team is using the tool properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Standalone license if chosen by the organization which let's you publish your work across all internal sites, uperform is best. It has a lot of output formats as well. You can create SOPs, videos, audio videos etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Uperform server based licenses creates difficulties for conent creators, publishers and viewers due to access management. Also the technology support is slow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
