I like how open‑ended UnityAlgo's custom workflow builder is, especially for creating advisory materials for our German SME clients. The flexibility to drag‑and‑drop and recreate specific business rules without deep coding knowledge is impressive. Not long ago we were supporting a local service supplier Schulz Dienstleistungen; they run order approvals with strict value‑based gatekeeping, and most off‑the‑shelf ERPs could not mirror their existing process. I was able to build their exact approval sequence step‑by‑step for orders over 12 000 EUR, assigning conditional triggers for different order values, which demonstrated real feasibility inside an actual working prototype. Before having this sandbox capability, I could only describe possible workflows in our slide decks, and once a client misjudged implementation complexity and wound up over‑committing to another ERP solution. That bad experience made me value tangible mock‑ups even more. I also value the ability to quickly add ad‑hoc data fields across different modules. For Schulz Dienstleistungen I created custom fields for their regional customer risk classification tags and internal audit notes, which made it straightforward to mock‑up tailored solutions during stakeholder meetings. This low‑code customization without being boxed into rigid pre‑set flows is UnityAlgo's biggest strength for my consulting work. It gives me working prototypes instead of theoretical descriptions, making our recommendation reports far more persuasive and grounded in real hands‑on testing. I found the lack of native German localization frustrating because every menu, setting label, and system prompt remains in English. When I built the multi‑step approval workflow prototype for Schulz Dienstleistungen, I attempted a quick sandbox demo for their operations lead who does not speak fluent English. He could not parse the system menus and could not follow our walk‑through. I had to spend several extra work hours annotating dozens of screenshots and translating every key UI description, which ate into my project timeline and pushed back our client feedback session. Additionally, when exporting German‑language datasets filled with umlauts from that same test project, I faced real headaches. City names such as München and compliance‑related notes got garbled due to encoding issues. I had to open every exported CSV and manually correct corrupted characters line‑by‑line before I could combine the ERP test data with Qualtrics survey feedback for our joint analysis. The tool also lacks GDPR‑focused workflow templates. When I simulated a customer‑data deletion request scenario for Schulz Dienstleistungen, every retention and erasure rule had to be built entirely manually, costing me multiple hours of configuration work. There’s no straightforward API integration for connecting with platforms like Qualtrics, forcing reliance on manual CSV file exports. Finally, initial setup involved a lot of manual tweaking. Many German SMEs like Schulz Dienstleistungen have unique internal operating procedures, and most standard ERP products force them to reshape their business around pre‑defined software logic. Before this sandbox trial, I could only outline potential customizations in writing. Once we gave a client high‑level optimistic estimates without a working prototype, and they later discovered the real implementation effort was far larger than expected. That misstep damaged our trust with that former customer. Using UnityAlgo’s sandbox, I can build functional mock‑ups of their exact workflows ahead of time, without heavy coding or large upfront spending from the client. I can document bottlenecks, time investment and feature gaps directly from hands‑on testing. This lets me deliver concrete, grounded consulting advice, set realistic stakeholder expectations, and greatly improve the accuracy of our ERP recommendations for local German small‑and‑medium businesses.
