I tend to experience a few sporadic errors within the UI which always leads me to question its viability for production websites. Happy to use it for personal use but would not recommend it to an employer until it becomes more robust.

Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike — Umbraco is quite straightforward and easy to use. However, because it’s so flexible and developer-oriented, sometimes the initial setup and configuration can require more technical knowledge compared to some plug-and-play CMS platforms. Also, certain advanced features like form handling or workflow management often need additional packages or customization rather than being available out of the box. Umbraco is an intuitive platform, with lots of great features. The customer support team is helpful and very responsive, going above and beyond to answer complex queries. I use Umbraco almost every day in my work and, with developers, have been able to implement all the features we want for our website. Sometimes because it is not an out-of-the-box product, there are idiosyncrasies in the way our site has been designed and developed (by previous developers) that can mean lengthy workarounds.
