Super simple to design something that looks professional and expensive. You do not need to be a graphic designer to get a hold of this. If you struggle with something customer support is always available, even at late hours! I am impressed with the help I have received so far. It is also very affordable, and good for small businesses and start-ups! **What do you dislike about Ucraft?** I wish there were a bit more templates maybe, but everything is super easy to modify so this is just a minor little detail. I honestly think so far there haven't been any big issues I ran into that weren't solved by customer support. **Recommendations to others considering Ucraft:** If you are just starting up something this is a really nice platform to start with. They also make it (SUPER) easy to connect with your domain even when registered somewhere else. I have used other platforms in the past, but this one is by far the best I have used. I have a photography business and a lot of other small projects, and I find it affordable to publish my different sites with Ucraft. It is also great that they offer 1 month free trial (where you can also connect your domain), so its great to try out, and also if you just have small projects that require instant attention. **What problems is Ucraft solving and how is that benefiting you?** I like having the option to design logos and adapt the site however I want, even with the excellent templates and presets they already offer. I can do everything as a one-man company and do not need to hire any external graphic designers or programmers. Ucraft essentially help me save time, resources and money! ### 6. There are minor aspects of my website that I would like to tweak that I can't figure out a way to do it. The biggest of which are element placement and the imposibility of editing the site while on mobile devices. **Recommendations to others considering Ucraft:** I would start a generic website and test out Ucraft before going all in. The ease of editing them to look exactly as I pictured has been refreshing. I genuinely have to do less work because the bones of the designs are so good. I have created websites using other web design platforms in the past and these have been extremely time consuming and frustrating to tweak and I would end up with a product I was not completely happy with, whereas with ucraft, the templates are already refined and visually pleasing so few adjustments are required. The ucraft online help desk has always been extremely responsive and have managed to walk me through how to resolve issues such as linking a custom domain, quickly and efficiently. I dislike the bad customer support. I dislike the fact that they issued me a fake security certificate that made my site unusuable for 2 months. **Recommendations to others considering Ucraft:** Ucraft issued me a fake Security Certificate, falsely marking my site as a malware site. They blamed me, even though my site worked just fine on WIX. After 2 months, they managed to issue me a real security certificate and my site magically worked. The editor is very basic. While there is a lot to learn with features and whatnot, it’s a pretty intuitive experience and they have info buttons everywhere explaining the functions. And there is a help chat button waiting for any questions you may still have. **What do you dislike about Ucraft?** A photo editor program for misfit images **Recommendations to others considering Ucraft:** If you are new to website building, you can achieve your goals, but be prepared to get lost in a bunch of rabbit holes and will take more time than you think. The customer service was also quick to reply back. **What do you dislike about Ucraft?** I was force to pay to keep my website after having accepted a "Free 15 days business trial". I had used business plan features in my website. After the trial, I asked them if they could kindly remove them. They told no, I had to pay to keep working on my website. Thanks to this very frustrating moment, I migrated to Github Pages and became full-stack web dev on the side of my job. **Recommendations to others considering Ucraft:** Don't accept Free trial if you don't want to be trapped in a paid plan. My company purchased a domain through Google Domains, and the only website builder that allows for free domain connect is Ucraft, making the start of my business possible. **What do you dislike about Ucraft?** There are some features that are not exactly streamlined, but are easy to work around. An example of this is the ability to change the colors of the text, but once you play around with the controls for a few, it becomes quite easy and fast to complete tasks. **Recommendations to others considering Ucraft:** Look into the optional expenses offered by Ucraft, as some of them are worth purchasing, and make your site that much more professional looking than without. Anyway I was with another provider until one day they informed all users that they were migrating from cpanel due to a change in terms or service and they got into trouble with the migration. So after a few months waiting I decided to look for an alternative and I happened upon ucraft. I personally need more flexibility as a creative, however I used the free one so it is understandable it’s has limitations. Is it a hosting service? Is it a platform? What exactly do I get from the website design service? Source code only? I also didn't like the lack of font choices. It seemed rather minimal compared to the other options, like icons, shapes, and layer editing features. I guess it would be better for creating a baseline of your logo and getting ideas on which to improve. **Recommendations to others considering Ucraft:** Make sure you have your own fonts or be able to export it to another program like Photoshop or Paint in order to adjust the font of the text images. It came to me a lot easier with the icon database y'all provide for the site. I've realized the power of a simple, minimalist logo using a minimalist platform.
