"Calm, Organized Communication with Twist"
What do you like best about Twist?

I use Twist mainly to keep my work communication calm, clear, and well-organized. Instead of dealing with constant message notifications, Twist lets me follow structured conversation threads where discussions actually make sense and stay on topic. It’s especially helpful for asynchronous work, because I can catch up on decisions, updates, and ideas without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. I like how intentionally Twist is designed to reduce noise and encourage meaningful communication. Unlike other tools that push constant real-time chatting and interruptions, Twist focuses on organized, topic-based threads that keep conversations clear and easy to follow. Twist respects deep work and asynchronous collaboration, allowing me to stay productive without feeling pressured to respond instantly. The topic-based threads keep my thoughts and conversations organized, and the asynchronous setup gives me the freedom to respond when I’m ready. Overall, Twist makes communication feel calmer, clearer, and more respectful of everyone’s time, which is what makes it genuinely valuable to me. Getting started with Twist was simple and didn’t feel overwhelming at all. Setting up the workspace, organizing topics, and inviting my team was quick and intuitive. The setup was smooth, easy, and made it clear that Twist is designed to be simple rather than complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Twist?

Sometimes it feels a bit slow when I need a quick response, and the interface can take time to get used to, especially for team members coming from instant chat tools. I also feel that onboarding could be clearer to help new users understand the value of threads and asynchronous work right away. With smoother navigation and a bit more flexibility in notifications, Twist could be even more comfortable to use without losing its focus-first approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Organized Team Communication Simplified"
What do you like best about Twist?

I use Twist mainly for team communication and organizing work discussions in one place. It helps me stay connected with colleagues without having to rely on long email chains or scattered messages. I like that conversations are organized into threads, so each topic stays clear and easy to follow. What I like most about Twist is the way it organizes conversations using threads. Unlike many messaging platforms where messages quickly become cluttered, Twist keeps discussions structured so each topic stays in its own thread. This makes it much easier to follow conversations and find important information later. The organized thread structure in Twist is very helpful because it keeps each discussion focused on a specific topic. This makes it much easier to understand the context of a discussion and follow the full conversation from beginning to end. The initial setup of Twist was quite simple and straightforward. After creating an account, the workspace can be set up quickly by inviting team members and creating channels for different topics or projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Twist?

While Twist works well for organized communication, there are a few areas that could be improved. One limitation is that the platform focuses heavily on asynchronous communication, which is great for thoughtful discussions but can feel slow when something urgent requires immediate attention. In those situations, it may take longer to get quick responses compared to real-time chat tools. One improvement that could make Twist more effective is adding a clearer way to flag urgent messages. Since the platform is designed for calm, organized communication, messages are usually handled when team members have time to respond. While this works well for most discussions, it can be challenging when something requires immediate attention. A feature that allows users to mark certain messages as high priority or urgent could help ensure they are noticed quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
