If the paid plans there are many quality of life features and different automations that can be used to manage projects seamlessly. The user interface is very smooth and fluid. My brain just doesn’t work that well with Kanban-style project management. I tend to mix elements of lists with a few mind-mapping approaches, so the Trello mechanism takes me a while to organize in a way that feels natural. Also, the way teams interact with each other on cards through comments isn’t as transparent as I’d like. When there are a lot of exchanges, it’s easy to lose track of the conversation and any attachments. Given the mismatch between how my mind works and the Trello setup, I don’t necessarily think it’s worth the price of admission. Before Trello I think i just didn't have a place to keep important info that wasn't immediately actionable. Now it's my place to store writing ideas, resources and useful articles, goals I don't have time for right now, lists of plays I've seen, recipes to try.... truly the functionalities are endless.
