## About TCC
TCC (Total Cost Control) is a field-first construction cost control platform designed to give contractors early visibility into cost drift during project execution. Unlike traditional construction software that relies on end-of-week or monthly reports, TCC captures daily field data — including labor, equipment, materials, and production — and links it directly to activity-based cost tracking. This allows project teams to detect small deviations as they happen, rather than after costs have already accumulated. Built for small to mid-sized civil, infrastructure, and industrial contractors, TCC focuses on simplicity in the field and clarity in the office. Foremen can quickly enter daily information without heavy administrative burden, while project managers gain structured, real-time insight into where time and money are actually going. TCC does not replace accounting or ERP systems. Instead, it acts as an operational intelligence layer between the jobsite and reporting tools, helping teams adjust decisions within 24–72 hours instead of reacting weeks later. By turning daily site activity into actionable cost signals, TCC helps reduce margin erosion, improve productivity, and bring greater control to project execution.

## TCC Reviews
  ### 1. TCC Keeps Field Execution on Track with Simple, Activity-Level Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pascal P. | Project manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about TCC?**

What stands out is how TCC focuses on daily execution instead of reporting.

Most tools in construction tell you what already happened. TCC shows you what is starting to go wrong while the work is still happening.

The ability to capture labor, equipment, and materials at the activity level and quickly see cost drift over a few days is a big shift from traditional monthly reporting.

It’s also clearly built with the field in mind. The data entry is simple enough that a foreman can actually use it without turning it into an administrative burden.

**What do you dislike about TCC?**

The product is still evolving, especially on the reporting and integration side.

If you are expecting a fully mature ecosystem like large enterprise platforms, it’s not there yet.

However, that seems intentional. The focus is clearly on solving the execution layer first before expanding into more complex features.

**What problems is TCC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem is that cost overruns in construction don’t start at the end of the project — they start with small daily deviations.

Before using TCC, we had visibility only at reporting milestones. By the time a variance showed up, it was already too late to react effectively.

TCC helps identify those early signals by linking daily field data (labor, equipment, materials) to activity-based cost tracking.

The benefit is not just better reporting — it’s being able to adjust decisions within 24–72 hours instead of weeks later.

  ### 2. Finally a tool that captures what actually happens on site

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pascal P. | Construction Director, Civil Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about TCC?**

Finally a tool that captures what actually happens on site

**What do you dislike about TCC?**

It doesn’t try to do everything.

If you’re looking for a traditional project management platform with full scheduling, financials, and documentation, this isn’t that.

It’s built specifically to capture what actually happens on site — and that’s a different mindset.

**What problems is TCC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most construction projects don’t go over budget suddenly — they drift there over time through small, daily deviations that are almost impossible to see early.

Traditional tools focus on planning, reporting, and high-level tracking, but they don’t capture what actually happens on site day by day. By the time an issue shows up in reports or the schedule, it’s already been happening for weeks.

TCC addresses this gap by capturing field-level data in a simple, structured way and connecting it directly to cost and activity.

This makes it possible to detect early signals of cost drift, understand what is really happening in execution, and react before it turns into a larger problem.

The main benefit is not just better reporting — it’s earlier visibility and better decision-making while the work is still ongoing.

  ### 3. Fast Setup and Finally Seeing Cost Problems While Work Is Ongoing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TCC?**

Easy to set up and fast onboarding. Quickly have access to project control and all features are availlable from the get go

**What do you dislike about TCC?**

TCC is still evolving, so some advanced capabilities—like deep integrations or fully automated reporting workflows—aren’t as mature yet as what you’d find in larger enterprise platforms.

At the same time, that’s also part of its strength. The system stays tightly focused on daily field data and early cost signals, instead of becoming overly complex.

If your team is expecting a full ERP replacement, TCC may feel a bit lightweight. But for day-to-day operational visibility, that simplicity is genuinely valuable.

**What problems is TCC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest issue we ran into wasn’t a lack of data—it was getting the right visibility at the right time.

We were tracking everything, but cost drift only showed up in reports, usually weeks after it had started. By then, the crew had already moved on, and the impact was essentially locked in.

TCC addresses this by turning daily field data into early cost signals. Rather than waiting for reports, we can spot small deviations as they form during execution—production rates, equipment usage, and material consumption.

The real benefit is being able to respond within 24–72 hours instead of at month-end. It moves cost control from reactive reporting to day-to-day operations.

  ### 4. A formidable simplicity to drive site productivity in real time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** rezzoug a. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about TCC?**

The disconcerting simplicity for construction site teams. Most management software is designed by accountants for accountants. TCC is made for builders. In a few clicks, our foremen can document the workforce, equipment, and production achieved. On the office side, the integration of this data with our budget allows us to detect productivity drops within 48 hours, instead of waiting for subcontractor invoices.

**What do you dislike about TCC?**

It is not a flaw in the software itself, but TCC abruptly ends the gray areas on construction sites. As the tool cross-references hours with physical production in less than 24 hours, productivity declines become immediately visible. This greatly disrupts the habits of managers who liked to hide behind the fog of the current month. TCC forces you to be proactive every day: you can no longer manage by autopsy. This therefore requires a real effort in change management at the beginning.

**What problems is TCC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TCC solves the problem of information lag (the infamous "30-day Lag Time") between the field and the office. Previously, we suffered from the financial autopsy syndrome: we discovered our cost overruns and productivity declines weeks later, through invoices or monthly reports. It was then impossible to recover the lost margin.

TCC transforms a "dead report" into a "real-time management signal." The application calculates our true unit cost and productivity rate within 24 to 48 hours. If a team underperforms for 3 days or heavy machinery accumulates hidden idle hours, the system alerts us immediately. The benefit is direct: we correct the course while the activity is still ongoing, which literally protects our profitability.
