"Clear Project Visibility Keeps Global Teams in Sync"
4/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

I like the clarity around project status and where things are in the pipeline. The visibility helps keep my multidisciplinary team in different countries in sync. Timeliner also helps with context switching, project continuity, feedback loops, asset sharing, and sharing projects between editors. I found the initial setup good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timeliner?

I’d like a more comprehensive, organized project archive, with metadata tagging and an easier way to find work and exports. I’d also like automatic tags for identifiable details like people and places. Currently, Claude MCP can’t see inside folders in the archive, only the projects. "Replaced our Frame.io + ClickUp + Sheets stack for video production"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

I like the ease of use of Timeliner; they have a very in-depth onboarding experience that makes the application much easier to use from the beginning. I also appreciate the good support they provide to anyone creating with Timeliner. The onboarding experience is definitely helpful and allows us to get off the ground running without much input from the team. It makes it easy for us to understand how to use Timeliner to the best of our abilities, especially for our use case of uploading, collaborating, and approving video content before it's released. Two things that earned the switch from Frame: the variants feature lets us produce 4 short-form cuts plus a main video and thumbnail from one raw shoot inside a single parent task, instead of fragmenting across Frame.io and ClickUp. And WhatsApp approvals means collaborators don't have to log in or create an account to streamline the approval process. For our brand content workflow, that feature alone cut approval cycle time meaningfully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timeliner?

I wish it had integration with iMessage as we use that mostly, but WhatsApp also works for our review processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best platform for video editors"
5/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

I like that Timeliner is very intuitive. It allows me to save all the versions and comments on each one, which helps me keep track of all the projects. This is especially useful when I work with clients who make many comments, as it allows me to stay on top of everything that needs to be done and what I have already done. Additionally, content delivery is fast and projects are created very easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timeliner?

Sometimes the upload fails when the file is very large, and it takes a long time, and also all my projects were duplicated when version 2 was created. I don't know if it happens, but it would be good if when a new client receives an invitation, they have a small tutorial of the platform because clients always get very confused with the use at the beginning, especially when it comes to how to move the project from phase, and download. It would be good if it were directly linked with Premiere to have the comments directly on the timeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Client Order Management, Needs Smoother Performance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

I really like how Timeliner makes it easy for me and my clients, as well as my colleagues. The approved messages are sent through WhatsApp, and it's so easy to handle. The whole process is straightforward, and I'm just left with approving the video. My clients get their videos at the right time without needing any interaction from me, which simplifies my work a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timeliner?

Right now, Timeliner is very straightforward and easy to use, but it's not very smooth. There have been some bugs here and there. If they could make it a little bit smoother, it would be perfect. Another thing is that an application would be better because right now, when I'm trying to log in, it needs me to do it every time and that's a little bit of a headache. "All-in-One Solution that Transforms Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

I love how Timeliner consolidates all my workflow processes, both internal and external, into one place. It significantly reduces the time I spend managing my work, my editors, video revisions, and client feedback from several hours to just minutes. Everything is streamlined, making it incredibly easy to review videos, gather client feedback, and communicate revisions to my editors without the need to use multiple apps and platforms. The initial setup was very easy and intuitive, which really helped. I also appreciate how Timeliner uses WhatsApp for notifications, which I rely on. I was previously using multiple platforms like frame.io, ClickUp, and Google Drive, but now with Timeliner, everything is seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick Adjustment, Significant Workflow Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

What I like most is that feedback is really taken seriously and implemented well, which is noticeable in the daily agency work. As a result, I have to spend less time, save time, and the customer experience is much better. Additionally, the initial setup of Timeliner was very easy, and we were able to introduce it directly to the clients and ourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timeliner?

There are features I would still like to see in Timeliner, but I know the team is working on them, so I'm looking forward to that and will just wait. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Video Editing with Seamless Client Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

I like that Timeliner is integrated with WhatsApp and email, which makes it really easy for my clients to know when I upload a video. I'm glad that I can set deadlines and assign tasks to editors. The main thing I appreciate is that Timeliner keeps all the versions of one video in one place, which centralizes and simplifies my workflow. It's been very easy to understand, even for those who haven't used productivity software before. I enjoy being able to schedule everything and assign details, view all of my clients' work from a global view, which is something I really like. Overall, Timeliner is simple to use, and I'm really grateful and thankful for how it has taken a lot of mental load off me. I even recommended Timeliner to a friend, and I think it's already really good, with the potential to get better over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timeliner?

Some of my clients are not very tech-savvy, and they sometimes have trouble using Timeliner, even though it's generally easy to use. It would be great if it could be made even simpler for them. Also, I would like it if there's an app for Timeliner on the app store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Video Production Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

I think my favorite part of Timeliner is the KPIs and editor tracking. It's great to see performance at a high level when managing the team. I also really enjoy the small touches, like when a brand looks at their own portfolio and sees links to all of their social media and creative briefs held inside the platform. The parent task organization is also something I find really beneficial. Overall, these features contribute significantly to our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timeliner?

More sub folder organization. Being able to stack folders into folders is probably the only downside to what we currently have in our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Timeliner: Efficient Project Organization with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

I like how Timeliner organizes all my projects in one place and makes it easier for me to manage rejections with my team and clients. I appreciate having someone to speak with who can help me anytime if I need support. The rejection system is another aspect I like a lot because it allows me to give rejections directly on the video, which was not possible before when using Google Docs and WhatsApp. Additionally, the initial setup was easy, and we managed to get started in just two weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timeliner?

There were some bugs that needed to be fixed and were fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Video Approval with Precision"
5/5
What do you like best about Timeliner?

I find Timeliner to be more organized, making it easier for me to communicate corrections between clients and editors. I like that corrections don't get lost, which saves time. The time-stamped comments are particularly beneficial because they prevent misunderstandings and eliminate the need to send revisions as a list. This feature is very effective for my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timeliner?

The mobile version is not good like computer. The option to change name of project, I need to put my phone on the side for that. Not so easy but at the end they understood. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
