I like having my scripts, footage, editors, and clients in one place, and being able to post directly to my clients’ social media accounts and review videos in Timeliner. I like that Timeliner feels forward-thinking, with interesting ideas around AI and creative ways to improve the software. They’re open to new feedback and keep improving it. I had an idea that they seem to be rolling out, and I like that they’re open to feedback. Setup was pretty easy because they offer an onboarding call. The built-in AI chatbot can do tasks like setting up projects for me, and I can connect Timeliner with Claude or ChatGPT for other tasks.

I use Timeliner to manage our workflow from an idea through creating and editing content to client reviews and approvals before posting. I like that clients can see the work and give feedback and approvals more easily, and that our workflow and tracking what we owe creators and editors are all in one place. The software covers a lot, but its simplicity makes things easy, and I keep it open on my desktop almost 24/7. I really like the flexibility and that the Timeliner team takes client feedback into account. I don’t feel like just a number with a bigger platform. I also like the board for seeing how long an edit or project is taking, and the internal deadlines. Setup was quite easy, and we could add clients gradually.

I like being able to add empty tasks to track jobs that still need to be done, and I can see projects from filming through editing, approval, and posting.
