Having the Thinkific Plus package has made our products come to life with the support of the Customer Success team. Having a designated Customer Success contact has allowed us to identify solutions and processes for intergrating Thinkific into our main product, allowing for easy access for our customers. Our rep, Daniel, is always so helpful, clear, and prompt when we reach out for support. The Plus Services team is also very efficient in answering our product/feature related questions in a very timely manner. These supports enable our company to provide the best service to our own customers. **What do you dislike about Thinkific?** We do not currently have any dislikes regarding the Thinkific Plus option. **What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company has a unique and specific set up for integrating Thinkific LMS into our platform. It can, to a degree, with "hacking" it or bringing in add-ons (at a cost), but still not fully and I hate that we have to break it to make it work. It would be nice if it had more customizable features - like renaming basic things. The support team is helpful and listens to our ideas. **What do you dislike about Thinkific?** I have been pretty open about changes we'd like to see made. The membership system needs to use language other than "student" and "course." There are attributes of the system that are either all or none. We cannot always make changes specific to a page or view without affecting other aspects of the system. For example, the "Complete and Continue" button, or altering theme colors. The Eden Community has limitations that we've asked to have altered, for example embedding hyperlinks in text or being able to alter text color, bold or italics, etc. **What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?** Membership was not an option above which is my main role in Thinkific. Thinkific as a membership system is giving us the ability to determine what members see when they sign in and to alter their enrollments as needed. We do not have to send members to another location to access resources because of the integration options provided. We can group members by organization which helps with updating acess related to each member's annual renewal dates. ### 19. Recently Teachable switched to a very expensive pricing scheme, so I moved my school to Thinkific. I paid for the Grow plan for the entire year in order to be able to use their email marketing feature. Today I found out that they suspended my email sending privileges due to not having unsubscribe link in my email. WHICH THEY SAID WAS TECHNICALLY IMPOSSIBLE WHEN I REACHED OUT AND ASKED HOW I CAN ADD UNSUBSCRIBE LINKS TO MY MESSAGES!!! Planning to sue them in small claims court but they're in Canada, so not sure if it's a good idea to work with them unless you reside in Canada. Regret moving my school to Thinkific. It processes payments really weel, including payment plans so for example if we get learners on payment plans but they skip a payment (for whatever reason) the platform puts a hold on their access automatically so we can get in touch and troubleshoot the issue. **What do you dislike about Thinkific?** I don't think is necessarily specific to Thinkific but we have a lot of customers in sub-Saharan Africa who struggle with payment in USD or other 'stable' currencies. It would be great to be able accept payment in bitcoin, for example. **What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a one-stop shop for hosting and promoting our courses. ### 43. The support team are really friendly and very accomodating with my many many queries, and response times are fantastic. As we're based in Europe and Thinkific are in Canada there's always a guarantee that you'll have a response the next morning. The support team really care about the service they provide and believe in the product, and give their best to try and find a resolution. The platform itself is very easy to use and navigate, though limiting with customization features. Thinkific have taken a lot of our feedback and improvement suggestions on board and we're looking forward to seeing how they grow. It's a great platform that has so much potential to grow into an amazing one and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable LMS that is easy to administer. It's an ideal platform for anybody looking to delve into the world of eLearning, as it's incredibly user friendly and can offer a lot of support. With a lot of the API endpoints we've been able to creative and link Thinkific with Credly, allowing us to offer digital credentials and track these, and in turn grow our product. We've recently brought all of our training internally and have been able to really utilize what Thinkific offer with their API. **What do you dislike about Thinkific?** We've found some of the roadmap hasn't been clear in terms of where requests go and what the weighting looks like. e.g. there is a large emphasis on community which we don't and will never use, yet a lot of our requests for things like API endpoints would grow the platform massively but may never be implemented - this kind of option would offer so much more for users and cast a wider net. Even minor changes to the assessment (question order shuffle/cooldown on retaking quiz) would make it appealing for businesses. A lot of the customization features such as the course player and page designer have been really limiting. And some behaviours we have just had to live with; e.g. having to number the categories rather than add them in the order we want. We've also found the review tool to be very limiting and easily missed by users, which is really unfortunate as this would help sell our content to anyone considering taking our courses. With the site designer we'd had to 'get creative' quite a few times to meet our needs, this has unfortunately taken away from developing our own learning materials but we can't afford to keep going to partners. A lot of the templates for site building are fantastic but we find one of us editing a lot of the code to make it 'just right'. To credit Thinkific, they always work really hard to facilitate our requests. **What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?** We want to educate our users on our product (Make.com) and have pursued a learning pathway based around units/courses and bundles - Thinkific allows us to achieve this. ### 48.
