The implementation process was very smooth, and this was really helped along by the fact that they assign a Product Manager to you from the outset. The product Manager is involved from day one of the original demo which means that by the time you have decided to implement their system, they already have a really good idea of your system requirements which led to a smooth implementation process. The team were great, they were very patient, put up with our endless queries and provided consistent training ahead of the go live, ensuring that ease of use configured to our exact requirements when we went live was always going to be the outcome. I would highly recommend this system. One of the best features is the dashboard, which can be tailored to individual requirements and is very simple to set up. The dashboard reports and graphics can easily be exported and dropped into any documents you need them for. **What do you dislike about SureCloud?** At this stage i do not have any dislikes. **What problems is SureCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** For myself, it's helping with Vendor Management, assisting with the risk tiering process and ensuring that for our higher risk suppliers, we undertake regular reviews and maintain and manage their cyber risks. Any bugs have been quickly resolved. **What problems is SureCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Risk and control self-assessments and action tracking were manual and driven from multiple spreadsheets, making it difficult to manage, track and follow-up with the teams. SureCloud has brought all these workstreams together; improved efficiency through automated workflows, increased the visibility of tasks and actions through reporting and notifications and enabled risk and control owners to get a clearer picture of their positions whenever they want. This was actually fixed by the team by the new release. The core product is strong, especially in validating data as it is entered, providing a clear workflow for users, and notifications when tasks are due (or overdue). There is a real focus on ensuring 'quality in' as data is captured. The SureCloud implementation team was able to configure the tool for our particular business, which is quite a complex matrix organisation. Advanced features that are not required can generally be configured out, but can be re-introduced later when required. The support team is friendly and generally responsive. They provide weekly formal updates on issues and changes, as well as ad hoc support whenever needed. It is simple to log requests and issues, either by email or via online form. We have seen previews of the upcoming 'Aurora' product, which is the next generation of SureCloud. It is good to see the company investing in its product, and responding to customer feedback for the next iteration of the tool. **What do you dislike about SureCloud?** The least successful part of the product is the reporting and dashboards. These are quite limited and clunky, and lack most modern features of BI tools, such as the abilty to drill down or to sort by multiple fields. They are absolutely fine for standard reporting, but not much use for more sophisticated data analysis. We have encountered some performance issues (blue circle, awaiting data to refresh), which definitely increase as data volumes grow. The support team have worked hard to improve performance, but this will only properly be solved with the new Aurora product. We initially implemented without external integrations. When we later decided to integrate with ServiceNow and Jira, we found that this has taken many more months than we expected, and has still not yet gone live. The current product (soon to be replaced) also has some legacy design features that are less than helpful. Sometimes the support team clearly struggle to make it do what they want, and we have regularly seen new bugs appear that apparently result from code changes elsewhere having unexpected effects on us. We hope that the new Aurora product, being a complete bottom-up rebuild, will resolve most of the above issues. **What problems is SureCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** SureCloud has helped us formalise risk management processes. Moving from a simple (SharePoint list) risk register to SureCloud has greatly improved our ability to validate and quality check data as it gets entered. We can enable workflows and auditable approval processes that we never could before. The ownership of both risks and their associated actions is clear, with associations between them and users held to account for their roles. We have been able to move up our risk maturity model by establishing a robust and consistent basic risk management process, creating the foundation to move further into integration with our CMDB (ServiceNow) and portfolio management tool (Jira). ### 17. It allows us to feel assured & focus more on strategic & emerging risks than worrying about mitigated risks. We can also integrate third-party management tools for extensive tracking, continuous monitoring and analyze our auditing for any specific duration. **What do you dislike about SureCloud?** A clear understanding of SureCloud's backend activities is critical while working with creating entries in the Risk Register. From an operational standpoint for our compliance facilitation, all features of SureCloud are satisfactory. **What problems is SureCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to revisit and align all our business compliances then and there before implementing SureCloud. It has created an excellent environment for us where we can build & automate GRC implementations thanks to its Security Control Framework (SRF). This makes it all too easy & convenient as it gives us comprehensive compliance solutions which effectively solve the tedious process of controlling our lifecycle management. We also utilize its Risk Register to enable business email compliance establishment & we can assign external email addresses so even if our customer isn't registered, certain privileges will be allocated. ### 26. We further customised the system with excellent support from Surecloud's implementation team and introduced automated acceptance of assessments based on organisational risk appetite. We didn't manage to get this end to end flow presented by any other providers. **What do you dislike about SureCloud?** The UI could be better and faster and in some cases a user has to follow quite a few steps prior to navigating between the sections, but you get used to it. The surecloud platform provides this great framework that helps to assess, track and monitor incidents and also suggests continuous improvement. **What do you dislike about SureCloud?** Nothing that I dislike but I would like to add few tips to improve. This sounds business like but adding some fun features like interactive animated chat support, dashboards, links and fields could attract potential users.
