Sun studio is a C++/Fortran based IDE from oracle and it is used for writing codes in different languages like C,C++,Java,etc so it has multiple support programming languages. The sun studio latest version 12 is available now to download which supports various code completion feature which make it easy to implement the coding requirements. A lot of famous plugins are available for the integration of coding assistance and support. Advance plugins from oracle are also available for the sun studio. It can be frequently used by different developers in real time. The oracle always provide a good 24 x 7 customer support for their users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Sun Studio? There are some drawbacks while using the Sun Studio, these are : i. The IDE is very much less popular than other famous IDE in markets like Eclipse,Intellij,VS code, so many plugins could be missing from the marketplace for writing code in Sun studio. ii. The installation guidelines are tough and required a registration on the Oracle website before downloading the electronic file for installation. iii. Solar studio is useful as an IDE to write and design the architecture for your business according to your choice of programming lanaguage like C, C++,Java,etc. It is designed under Oracle so it is trusted for developement work at many organization.
