What do you like best?

One of Sugar's strengths is in its segmenting of Leads, Accounts, Contacts. This is most helpful in knowing what stage a customer (or potential one) is at. By having this type of grouping, and the subsequent information that is attached to it, it makes it easy to manage the accounts and people who do business with your company. What do you dislike?

I think the element that needs the most improvement would be finding individuals or accounts in the CRM. If you simply know the name of a company or an individual then the process will go smoothly. If you don't, having to scroll the database and wait as each page slowly loads after about 30-50 contacts can be daunting. Sugar Sell is an excellent platform for organizations that are seeking a scalable, flexible, easy to use solution that can be molded to their organizational requirements both today and into the future. The value is great and you will not receive unexpected bills for excessive API calls or heavy utilization as that is all covered by the standard product. - Centralization of Prospect and Client information has provided one stop for everything we need to know to efficiently work with both Prospects and Clients.

What do you like best?

Sugar is highly customizable and allows for non out of the box solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The lack of customer service and willingness to assist in ANY way, shape, or form is somewhat unheard of to me. I have never seen a platform/service with lower standards. Additionally, Sugar is very dated and lacks a friendly user interface, therefore being a major turnoff to staff ease of use and adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are looking for a cheap CRM solution to manually enter data and store your data, Sugar could be an potential option for your company. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We utilize Sugar to help manage our relationships with influencers on a day-to-day basis. We track data points such as personal info, correspondence, event attendance, gifting and contracts, and non specific notes. This platform does help us organize everything in one software location, but as mentioned in previous statements, the UI is dated and unfriendly, the input of data is almost 100% manual, and staff shy away from using the tool due to Sugar's many issues. What do you like best?

Sugar Sell allows for better tracking of revenue earning streams. It forces a usage of line items, quotes, forecasts and the renewal console among other things. The renewals console is fantastic and the BPM comes with alot of stuff out of box. The BPM system is way easier to use and the visual design is absolutely fantastic. What do you dislike?

BPM is limited in what it can do. The entire system is very cumbersome to design and customize to your companies needs. It takes a business analyst or two a year or more to really hone in the system for all use cases. Customization is great but man its lengthy. Maybe some more mass update featuring would help so much. Sugar sell should definitely be Integrated before a company really takes off. There are many small bugs that may occur. Knowing how to repair your own instance is key to not having to use the support line all the time. The renewal process for sell is awful because it is so new. The fact that sugar uses other companies to sell their products can slow down needed change and lead to confusion. Because their products are broken out, Sugar is now much more expensive to get a complete package of all the things you would need to completely run a company. Improvements to the module loader are far over due. It would be nice if sugar Market wasn't 12k a year minimum. We already pay alot as a small company anyways and Market has alot of what we need. We also have to pay for special customization to get both serve and sell and we know enterprise is going to go away at some point so it just seems like sugar is trying to raise their revenue without pissing off their customers by forcing a switch to more expensive subscriptions. They offer more stuff, but a more up to date general package with maybe some built in integrations would be well appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are completely overhauling our system to match the needs of company. Sugar sell allows for greater breakouts of SKUS, products and expands on the renewals system. Our old system did not allow for renewals well so sugar sell is going to remarkably improve our revenue tracking internally. Other than that, we are actually going to end up with all three subscription types after a while because our company will run on sugar. All the new stuff streamlines alot of the issues. What do you like best?

Anything we want to achieve with Sugar Sell CRM is pretty much possible and everything is configurable to fit our needs. It is easy to use and navigate.It is great at keeping us informed with real time notifications via emails. What do you like best?

Sugar does have a lot of add ons that make the platform a lot more worth while to use. But you have to be willing to upgrade and put a lot of time into getting the CRM the way you want it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you start with just basic or even a few of the add ons, the platform is slow, constantly needs to reload, often crashes if you are trying to do a lot at once. What do you like best?

I liked how relational the database of contact information was when I was setting up a new file or retrieving an existing user file to make a prospect call list from. It was really easy to find all the contact details as well as to see the notes and past history related to each contact posted in the user files. What do you dislike?

Sugar was really slow when it came to updating files or downloading data. If you wanted to move around on the page you had to scroll and scroll which took forever. I did not like how it seemed glitchy after using it for two years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First i like how the system has a wide deployment across different devices and the easy of using the functions. The product has a very responsive notification reminder and the social media integration for marketing its more effective.

What do you like best?

Workflow customization. We use the workflows to automate a lot of processes. We have the system send alerts from Sales to our Contracts team to have Contracts prepared for different opportunities. We do a lot of communication automatically by using Sugar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sugar can be limited in data reporting if your users don't contribute. However, as a smaller business, I find hat Sugar has all of the functionality we need. Sales activity and customer relationships are all managed in Sugar. We also use Sugar for weekly reporting and notification of payment for renewals/maintenance. What do you dislike?

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The important thing in SugarCRM is it is very easy and simple to use or access. The support team is very responsive here which helps the user a lot. It manages the sales automation, marketing management and payment schedule very smoothly. It supports widow, Linux and Oracle also which is giving a great support to our organization. The process of reporting by SugarCRM is very simple though everyone can easily understand this. We can maintain our payment work by using this software.
