## About Strucsoft Metal
Strucsoft Metal is an Autodesk Revit plugin for light gauge steel (LGS) framing built for architects, engineers, contractors, and offsite manufacturers who need to design, document, and fabricate metal framing accurately and efficiently within the Revit environment. Automate the creation of wall panels, floor systems and ceilings using a rule-based template system to generate fully detailed framing across an entire project. The software automatically detects openings, MEP penetrations, and structural intersections and applies the correct framing conditions around each opening. Generate precise shop drawings, bills of materials, and cut lists directly within Revit, and prepare your models for CNC data export into roll-forming machines from manufacturers including Howick, Framecad, Scottsdale, and others. For modular and prefab construction teams, Strucsoft Metal includes a dedicated Modular workflow with its own ribbon interface. Users define framing templates once via the Template Map, and Quick Create applies them automatically across all repeating Revit groups such as pods, modules, or full prefabricated systems. The Modular Gather Sheets command then automates shop drawing generation for the entire project in one operation, producing a complete, model-linked set of drawings for walls, floors, ceilings, and roof panels that update when the design changes. Before any documentation leaves the model, the Panel Checker tool automatically validates panels for modeling errors, flagging issues with member quantities, connections, stud orientation, and hole coordinates - catching problems before they reach the shop floor. Suitable for projects ranging from bathroom pods to large-scale commercial and healthcare buildings, Strucsoft Metal is the tool of choice for teams that need their Revit framing to connect directly to the shop floor.

**What do you like best about Strucsoft Metal?**

StrucSoft MWF improved a lot in the past 5 years and looks like they are going into the right direction. There are still a few improvements that might be achievable like the time to print shop drawings

**What do you dislike about Strucsoft Metal?**

REVIT is still not my to go manufacturing software so I thinkg StrucSoft still struggles with what REVIT can deliver. There are still a few improvements that might be achievable like the time to print shop drawings and how easy is to get to panel elevations.

**What problems is Strucsoft Metal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great solution for Metal in comparison with other software in the market.
