# Which Gong AI insights are worth confirming against the call before a big decision?

Going by G2 reviews, the ones to confirm are outputs feeding a forecast or a change in a deal's direction, since it isn't always clear when a result comes from AI rather than rules-based logic. The habit people describe is opening the original conversation to check context, which takes a minute and catches a nuance like a pricing concern raised once near the end of a call.

In revenue AI platforms, the useful distinction is between everyday use and high-stakes calls. Call follow-up, coaching and deal boards that show deal health suit AI summaries well, because a manager is close to the conversation anyway. Forecast calls are where a quick check is good practice with any AI-generated insight.

What I'd like to hear from sales leaders:

Drawing the line at forecast calls is useful, because the everyday uses like call follow-up, coaching and deal boards sit close to a conversation the manager already knows. I’m curious about the other direction: since opening the original call takes about a minute, do managers end up using the summary mostly as a guide to where in the call to look, for example a pricing remark near the end?
