**What do you like best about Striven?**

Striven is many applications in one and they easy to use and work seamlessly together. 2nd and equal to the first is the Customer Service is World Class with many levels, but most valuable is their personal support.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

I have yet to find something I dislike or that Customer Support hasn't been able to explain. If I find it, I feel strongly they will make it right.  But in that one case where they can't, I believe they live as I do using Lessons Learned and Continuous Improvement as a strong part of their process.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are making us more efficient.  We needed CRM and they are working with us to make that easy and efficient. The Project Management aspect of Striven is comprehensive and perfect for our needs. And we are looking forward to bringing our accounting from QuickBooks into Striven so we can align all efforts with our accounting.

Striven’s inventory management capabilities, combined with their accounting software, have given us a top-notch, one-stop place to manage our business the way it needs to be managed.

Employee W-2 pay management would be nice to have, but that is a minor inconvenience.

The fact that Striven puts everything on a web-based app makes it easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

Because the range of what Striven can cover many of the uses are not streamlined which is great for versatility but does not make the system intuitive. There are also some aspects that I believe should be simplified such as customer paying.

The versatility to add info mobile is very useful.

I am using Striven from the long time and it manages my leads, contacts, and sales pipeline in one place. Striven take my company task track it, manage timelines and update the kanban boards. Striven ease to implement and let my team know about our inventory live tracking and helping streamline stock.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

Striven help my HR's in recruitment, onboarding, time off and tracking. Nothing to dislike about it and had best customer support.

It give us all the resolution of our problems, manage HR roles, manage inventory and other project & task management.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

Striven brings everything we need into one place. It handles CRM, project management, accounting, HR, and inventory without needing separate tools. The system is easy to navigate, the reporting is detailed, and onboarding our team was smooth. The biggest benefit is how much time and money it saves while keeping our operations organized. Their support team is also quick, friendly, and always ready to help us succeed.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

There is a learning curve at the start because Striven has so many features. It takes a little time to set up everything the way you want it. Once you get past that, it becomes much easier and more efficient to use.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Striven helps us manage everything in one place instead of relying on multiple disconnected tools. We use it to track projects, manage workflow, handle accounting, and keep inventory organized. It saves time, reduces mistakes, and makes communication across the team much easier. Having one system for all of this keeps us efficient and focused on growth.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

We are finishing up our 3rd quarter after going live on Striven.   The top reasons that we are glad we replaced our old accounting solution with Striven: 

1.	    Excellent support during and since implementation 
2.	Full access and functionality on my iPhone & iPad
3.	Added powerful functions like CRM & Project Management
4.	Affordable for our small business and able to grow with us
5.    On-Line Banking feature saves a lot of manual entry
6.	Miles IT is always improving Striven and listens to users

Highly Recommend Striven and Miles IT

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

We would like to have in-house payroll functions in Striven, instead of integration with outsourced payroll companies.    However, we have managed to work around this.

Mobility, we can now access any and all functions from anywhere and on laptops, tablets and mobile phones
Scalability, we can add and remove users and have full control over user access

the ability to customize everything, from reports to invoices and statements, even the customer portals... its easy to learn and the customer service is great

i dont like how some of the settings are set as default, although its easily changeable.. i dont like how it defaults to certain settings from the start... but again its easy to fix...

The Striven onboarding team was fantastic.  Melita in particular had a great depth of knowledge of Striven and accounting.  She always had a great attitude and was wonderful to work with.

Nothing so far.  It was a little overwhelming at first but the great team we had put our initial fears at rest.

We are in the early stages of adopting Striven.  So far the Striven team had been very supportive and helpful.  They seem to have great customer service.

Nothing so far. We are still early in the process but have not encountered anything negative yet.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

I use striven for inventory management and supply chain management. Its ability to organize parts and suppliers is highly efficient and allows me to keep everything organized. I also use it when making purchase orders and the ability to sort items by class in my purchase orders has made it very easy to classify our items better!

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

There are not many downsides. The main one I find is the reporting tool. I wish there were more options when creating reports, such as sorting by location and class. In addition, I wish there was the option to give users access to entire subdivisions, i.e., employees and customers.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Striven for its inventory management tools. I find the most problems it solves for me are regarding the organization. I can keep all of my suppliers, parts, and purchase orders highly organized, and the user interface is also amicable for what I use it for.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

Striven is very helpful and responsive to needs. Most of the configuration happens as you go and discover how to setup. Striven is very user-friendly. The UI is excellent, and it handles our needs. Striven's open API makes it easy to sync with third parties without direct integrations.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

Some of the controls around journal entry approvals are lacking. We are looking to add on FP&A tools and AP tools that Striven doesn't have but doesn't claim to have. These outside tools are entirely focused on their skill set. Striven is a niche company, and very few third-party systems have direct integrations. However, we have found this not a significant issue thus far, and Striven has expressed interest and openness to building these out.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed and efficiencies and ease of use. My accounting team is happier, my SOPs are shorter and easier to train on. Striven is intuitive and thinks through needs for quick access time savings.

Striven allows our entire team to use the same software to communicate all aspects of our business.  We are able to keep in contact with each other about what we are doing without having to track each individual down.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

The issue I have is that if a customer has the same name as another customer you receive a notice about a possible contact already in the database (which is good).  However, you are unable to quickly check if it is the same customer or a different one without either opening a new tab or deleting all of the information you have just entered.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

Striven is such a versatile platform. We use it for all project tasks including estimates, planning, task management, timekeeping, reporting, and invoicing. We're also able to also use it for HR, financial reconciliation, and document storage. Customer support is first-class and very responsive. They also have countless YouTube videos to help you accomplish whatever it is you're trying to do inside Striven.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

Because we still use Quickbooks for some of our other financial tasks, it would be nice if Striven and Quickbooks records could be more easily synced and reconciled.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whenever we've encountered something we'd like to accomplish, we check with Striven customer support on the platform's capabilities. Often, they've developed or enhanced a new area in the platform just to help us achieve what we're looking for.

My company has been looking for a great ERP system tirelessly and finally found striven. They are amazingly communicative and very forthcoming with information when requested. We are currently working to put the system into full swing at our facility and the outlook as of now looks like it will be perfect. They certainly are malleable to your needs and will work tirelessly to make sure you are getting what you want/pay for.

Striven is very user-friendly and, being internet based, it is accessible from anywhere! The way it is laid out makes it easy to edit and add information. Cannot beat the quality for the price and customer service has been great! Here at BCD Doors we plan to continue to use Striven for our inventory and bookkeeping needs!

Sometimes it feels like I'm creating my own program with ALL the options available. It is difficult to grasp the concept of what I'm doing, and how it's going to effect use of the program.

I most like how everything is integrated into one tool. This tool can capture CRM, create and manage invoices, and pick items out of our inventory. Striven cuts down on the hassle of bouncing between tools and becoming versed with multiple different softwares. This is truly an all in one tool.

Striven sends me too many emails... but that's not the end of the world.

Striven consolidates all of our core business needs into one tool. ie. creating and managing part numbers and inventory, sending invoices to wholesale customers, and managing CRM. Not having to bounce between separate tools that don't integrate well with each other is one of the most significant benefits for me. This tool saves me so much time!!!

Being able to have everything I need to run my business in one application, where the data is not in silos, but unified. Reduced the duplicated data entry, reducing risk of error. And everything is easily accessible on our phones too.

We had to find a work-around for a some minor things, but the resolutions are already in development and hopefully to be released in the near future. Meanwhile, we are having to manually input our retail sales until it can sync with Square.

Team communication, client and project management, tracking leads, bookkeeping all in one place. Increased productivity and allowed our business to grow exponentially these past couple of years.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

Ability to track and manage manufacturing / build orders & sales orders for simple and mid-level assemblies. It's nice to be able to manage customer relations as well.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

It is a bit frustrating to use Striven as a means for customers to pay invoices / sales orders. Each customer must create an account to login and pay these, and each additional user is billed.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Striven allows us to manage our supply chain with (relative) ease compared to much more expensive solutions. For small businesses looking for a lot of functionality in exchange for a bit more hands-on data entry, it's a great fit.

The online instant live updates. 
The eas of communication between team members on assigned jobs. 
The ability to get a instant customer signature. 
And finally the ability to see your scheduled appointments and any adjustments.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

The fact that you could not download and get a signature of a ticket for when you are outside of cellular Internet range when you are in rural locations for inside of buildings that restrict cellular settings.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication between team members on jobs with live emails at all times and with those not on location and be able to look up past communicate between team members.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

I like how Striven is easy to use , and allows me to optimize the processes I perform on a daily basis. I can tailor this system to my individual needs.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

There are no sales taxes calculated on our POs, which is problematic as a user in Canada as this opens up the door to be making mistakes. I wish the system will also not open new windows every time a new task or quote etc. is selected.

Striven allows our company to make purchase orders, place our product for sale, and invoice and receive payments with ease.

A completely cloud based accounting system is the way to go! The accounts payables as well as the accounts receivables features are pretty good, we used both a lot.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

Each time you click on anything it opens a new window, pretty soon you have 70 tabs open but you've only run one report. Cutting out that feature would be helpful.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a system that would allow us to be completely online so we would have the ability to access it anywhere. Striven is fully online which is exactly what we wanted.

We use Striven extensively for client, staff and project tracking; we have found it to be a seamless solution. I especially like the abilty to design surveys, assessments and reports on the fly for up-to-the minute information.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

It's relatively minor (and already in as a suggestion!), but I would like the ability to create templates for time tracking would be great. Ideally these would be as seamless as the project templates.

Easy access to support. When I get stumped, Striven support is easy to access without any robotic responses.

I suppose there are so many possibilities it can sometimes be difficult to navigate.

All of them. I suppose an area to track team communication, data reporting and journaling, and everything else in a one-stop shop.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

Have only been in the "Hearth Edition" for a few months now but WOW is it powerful. Favorite so far is the how quickly our customers are adopting the "portal". Striven had dramatically increased our ability for bi-directional communication with our customers. Love to see how it is constantly evolving with quarterly updates!

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

Importing items during implementation was difficult and still needs some tweaking.

There is so much going on in Striven that occasionally, it can be difficult to find a particular piece of information.

Striven provides a one-stop shop for many business needs.  Reducing the number of systems required to run our business increases our efficiency.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

Holds people accountable.   Click system.  Transparency.   The user interface is user-friendly.   I think it does a great job of connecting different teams in a simple and organized way.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

Only thing I would suggest would be to allow different contacts to have the same email address.  Many small offices use one central email address for the staff.

There are some minor quirks to Striven, such as the calendar not loading to today whenever the page is opened up from the day before, but nothing that can't be fixed with a simple refresh.

Striven allows me to create customized workflows, and it is easy to calculate velocity and track tasks. Once my bookmarks are established it feels very natural. The support staff are wonderful and our team maintains a multi-faceted business logic using the wide variety of quality tools Stiven offers.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

I find the task discussions to be confusing at first glance. If threads were immideatly discernable (collapsable?)  that would save time. The task view also seems to lack the ability to sort by progress on the project board. I would love to see a task list that can sort by board status right to left. I end up not using the task list because I have to mentally filter out those tasks that have moved to QA, for instance. It would also be nice if the board view auto-selected the most recently viewed milestone/board, as opposed to selecting the same milestone every visit.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task management, team metrics, and inter-departmental coordination are all facilitated by Striven.  Other more specifically 'dev' programs may not have such robust support for our administrative and support teams.

**What do you like best about Striven?**

In considering an ERP for our business we looked at various packages as well as designing our own. What we found in Striven was a good backbone of a system that could grow with us. It is a cloud-based system so we didn't have to worry about servers, dedicated lines or being responsible for hackers, etc. It has good capabilities in project management, (this was one of the most important considerations for us), as well as customer, vendor and item management. It also has a robust CRM module. It seems to be serving a much-needed niche in the market of small and mid-size businesses that don't want to or don't have the budget to spend thousands of dollars per month on a more extensive ERP system. What we have found so far is that, while it isn't perfect, it does have a good balance of options for helping to organize and run a business.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

As with a lot of ERP systems that I have had experience with, the documentation and availability of up-to-date help videos are somewhat lacking. This is an area where they could improve. Striven has two types of subscription levels; standard and enterprise. Some of the limitations of the standard plan make it a little difficult to get things accomplished. Perhaps have a plan that is in-between "standard" and "enterprise", that would allow more flexibility and options without having to jump to the "enterprise" plan, which is almost twice as expensive per month.

**Recommendations to others considering Striven:**

Striven is a very good value for a small or medium-sized company.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our primary goal was "Project Management" as this is a vital function of our business. In the future, we hope that Striven's accounting module will help us streamline that part of the business. Another important area is item management since we use an extensive amount of items to complete a project.

The most helpful feature of Striven is how easy it is to track the status of multiple tasks. My personal favorite way to gather metrics is to utilize the report builder.

My biggest and really only complaint about Striven is the discussion forums on tasks. It would be nice if a tasks discussions had an overall better layout or at least more options to organize multiple threads of discussions in a post.

As a developer, I need a way to organize and track development tasks in a project. Striven helps my team and I accomplish this while making collaboration effortless.

Striven is user-friendly, so it's easy to learn.  The customer service response time is PHENOMENAL.  You simply click on a chat button and they are available at any time for any reason.  Reporting is so easy to learn and customize.

**What do you dislike about Striven?**

A/R aging report is based on invoice date instead of the due date.  I was able to develop a workaround, but there should be an option to age from either starting point.

**What problems is Striven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inventory.  I was using Quickbooks, but the volume of inventory transactions kept causing issues with my Quickbooks.  It allows for better tracking, less recounting, and better reporting.
