Strigo Reviews & Product Details

I have been using strigo for the last three months, and it's been an excellent platform. I have taken multiple trainings and created numerous events on the platform, which are easy to set up and start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes, the students are not able to navigate the platform correctly, and I also think the user interface can be improved. There are places where it's not adequately mentioned what that button can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Strigo makes it easy to create online learning environments that work. I love how simple it is to set up templates, events, and training courses. It's user-friendly for both trainers and trainees, and I wouldn't use anything else! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While already pretty far along, Strigo still has a little bit of growing to do before it will be able to compete with more established platforms. There are still some features that I wish it had, but I still don't think there's a better alternative for someone new to the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My screen size for the terminal can be influenced by student screen sizes and limit actual viewing space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Students only have a single link to follow to access all they need for the course. Students can easily request assistance in their virtual machines, and it is effortless for TAs to assist.

There are no additional passwords to access the virtual machine, and I can track what the students are doing very easily.

I can also use the same system to provide virtual machines for our certification process, and I automate that system via the REST API.

I would like to be able to record my presentations without showing the Instructor interface. Additional polling features would be helpful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Prior to Strigo, we provisioned AWS machines for our students to run their lab exercises. Provisioning and management of the instances was okay until we also wanted to empower students to access these environments from a user-friendly console that allowed them to perform simple tasks like reboot and pause. Additionally, instructors in the past had to know the IP of a student's machine to troubleshoot. The overall lab delivery was cumbersome.

Enter Strigo, and all of that pain was removed. We were able to quickly get our AWS AMI's available to Strigo thru their management console. When we ran class events, instructors could effortlessly jump into a student's environment to help, and students were able to access a stable and easy to use interface to get into their lab environments.

Knowing the Strigo is rapidly evolving, it's understandable that some of the features that I would like to see in a platform are not available yet. However, they listen to their customers and openly share their roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Strigo made the creation of online classes and classrooms easy during the COVID-lockdown and work-from-home/. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Interaction features for students within the classroom are still limited (students sharing a screen, or students helping eachother), but some are in development, which is a good thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is a web based all in one solution that enable us to use Linux or Windows images at will Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are many things, but the main ones that stand out are:

* flexibility of the lab environment

* ability to run ILV, VILT, and on-demand with the same content and of the same platform

* API exists for integration

* students don't need to run multiple apps or install anything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They do a pretty good job, as most pain points have been fixed and eliminated as they listen to customer feedback and work hard. The biggest dislike I think right now would be the inability for an email address to be associated with multiple accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Strigo allows you to take control of labs which is a must have when you teach about linux. Trainees jsute have to click on a button to call for support which is very easy to do.

Strigo is very easy to use and all trainees gave excellent feedback about the platform. In more than 10 session (3d/session), I never had streaming problem. The platform is very stable.

The support answers very quickly and users feedback are implemented.

The customization of lab using cloud-init is also very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing ! Everything works very well...
