**What do you like best about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

STORIS products are clearly developed for the retailer AND the customer, making it the best option for our furniture company. The products are easy to use and can be customized and configured for your business. The best part about STORIS Unified Commerce is that it's frequently being updated with new features. STORIS makes it easy to upgrade and new releases always have exciting options for improving how our company does business or how customers interact with us.

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

There's not much to say negative. The STORIS team is always open for feedback and they are constantly improving their product. When we have challenges, they're quick to help find a solution that works for our business.

**What problems is STORIS Unified Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

STORIS makes it easy to run the back end of our business with their robust products, and they make it easy for customers to interact with us with the tools they have for the front side of our business. The development of their product clearly takes both the business and the customer into consideration.

**What do you like best about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

STORIS is at the top of the game regarding inventory control. We struggled for years to control our inventory. Since partnering with STORIS, our inventory accuracy rate has gone from 60% to 98% (last cycle count.) Also, our delivery revenue has increased by over 600%, primarily due to STORIS's ability to assign delivery charges based on zip codes at POS automatically. STORIS support is GREAT! Not once in 3 years has STORIS failed to go above and beyond when it comes to supporting us. It is hard to say, "What I like best about STORIS"; it is easier to say, "STORIS is a tremendous asset to our company, and one of the best decisions we made was partnering with STORIS."

The best aspect of STORIS is the unification of their available systems. Nowadays, having your Point-of-Sale system, in-store experience management software, and website connected is a must. In our experience, the connection of various software can be a gamechanger when it comes to staying on top of your business.

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

Currently does not have much of an ability to integrate with third-party software providers outside of STORIS. Lacks advanced security features like SSO and SAML that you would expect to find with a Unified Commerce solution like this.

**What problems is STORIS Unified Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having our products be consistent throughout our internal and public-facing platforms.

The user experience is 10x any other POS platform out there - this has helped immensely with training and onboarding.

There isn't much. The customer service features could be better.

Training + onboarding. Previously it could take 6 months for someone to feel comfortable in the system, and with STORIS it's a week. That speaks volumes to retention and overall job satisfaction.

The best aspects of STORIS for us are the reports and traceable steps.  The metrics are helpful and it's nice to be able to have accountability for actions performed.

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

There's a bit of a learning curve to STORIS.  While it's not difficult, some of our team members find it less intuitive than other systems.  It's easy to make simple mistakes which sometimes require much more effort to correct than a simple "undo" or "back" button.

**What problems is STORIS Unified Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seeing sales trends and inventory are critical to our forecasting.  The reports are most beneficial.

The ability to import and extract data from STORIS is crucial for us.  I cannot describe how amazing their entire staff is.

We have zero dislikes.  The product and team are top-notch.

STORIS allows us to optimize our business with the built-in promotional calendar.  It allows us to be more fluid with the manufacturers' continuous promotions.

I like that we can have a fully integrated website with our ERP system.

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

Since the enhanced special order features are relatively new, some key things are missing. For instance, there is no way to price a special ordered product without putting it on a sales order. We do a lot of special order business, so we hope that STORIS will continue to expand its capabilities in this regard.

Having a fully integrated website and logistical software.

I love how forward thinking the software platform is. The response rate and speed of resolving issues is extremely fast. If you have a need and present it, you will be contacted quickly.

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

It does not play well with others as much as I would appreciate. Data is super secure but they just now launched an open API and are in the infancy of integration with major platforms.

We use it for our point of sale. It also manages all of our receivables and allows us to extend credit to our clientele. We are able to access information quickly and make decisions off of that actionable intel.

**What do you like best about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

We manage a furniture e-commerce website. We use Storis for inventory for all our products. With the integration of the website Storis builder and server, we made every online process easier. What I like best about Storis Unified Commerce is the bridge between our warehouse and website. Is all connected, from local stores stock, warehouse, and online.  Also, the online support is incredibly fast. We send an email of any issue on the website or server and they always respond to the email in less than 10 minutes and start working on the issue.

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

We have been using Storis Unified Commerce for a long time. I can say from my experience the only thing that I dislike is the inconsistency in the website loading speed.

With Storis Unified Commerce we are solving huge problems and we are saving money. We don't have to be linking our stock information with any website. With Storis, all inventory system is the same as website stock.

  ### 13. Large at Scale: Not Big on Drilling Down

**What do you like best about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

I work in retail, specifically home appliances, furniture, and mattresses. This means our inventory is coming and going on a large scale. Storis comes in and manages inventory and sales extremely well. From the moment a product is ordered by us and by the time it is delivered to the customer, Storis has some sort of job dealing with that product. We definitely enjoy being able to track products down and figure out where they are and keep our sales data - whether monthly, weekly, or daily - close by. 

Storis has everything we need it to do from an administrative standpoint and keeps our inventory and sales data ready for consumption at large.

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

Oh, wow. Here we go. While the sales team, warehouse crew, and admin staff get to enjoy Storis, the marketing team does not. We try to compile reports that help shape our marketing strategies and track our ROI. This is where it gets tricky. Storis, to me, is an accountant's dream come true while it is a marketing director's nightmare. I spend more time having to get creative to make the report Storis gives us work for our needs and objectives. For instance, I like to do a weekly ROI, however, that report doesn't exist in Storis. I tried creating that report through Custom Reports. Instead, this report we tried to create lacks several key features - nor is it editable - that we need to track our weekly ROI and understanding trends. I have to put in the extra work to get it where I need it but since I can only pully monthly reports, I cannot pivot on trends week-by-week basis which is my goal!

Please keep in mind, Storis just rolled out a HUGE update that we signed up for, and by next month, I may be signing a different tune.  In the meantime, Storis is friendly for everyone but the marketing department!

**Recommendations to others considering STORIS Unified Commerce:**

I recommend this software only for furniture retailers and then some. Anything outside of this usage gives me a headache thinking about it. Honestly, make sure your entire team has training on it, too. It's so simple, it gets complicated, does that make sense? You basically have to know the software and fail with it, in order to learn it. The learning curve can get pretty steep if you're not in every day. Other than that, it's been helpful for the sales team, our C-suite team, the warehouse team, and slowly but surely, the marketing team. The data is all there for everyone, but it's up to the department heads and team member to mine it and get what you need.

**What problems is STORIS Unified Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storis was brought on board before I was, so any existing issues, I was not involved with. However, I found a problem with tracking our in stock data on our website. Storis helped us get the correct data export that I had to manually upload to our website's backend. I have to do this daily. Has this created another problem? Actually no! Because of this, we worked with Storis on making an API that integrates with our customized Magento platform and it goes live very soon here. So, if you use both, you're welcome - that was us ;)

Storis is a robust all-in-one platform. As someone in the furniture industry, the ability to do different forms of payment, credit requests, inventory tracking, and adding warranty information in one place is a great boon!

The only downside toStoris is the appearance can be a bit dated.

Storis has allowed us to streamline our business, and with new features coming out all the time, we are looking to integrate with our eCommerce platform, and the sky is the limit.

I LIKE THAT THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS YOU CAN DO. SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS TO GO ABOUT YOUR PROCESS.

I DON'T LIKE THAT IT GLITCHES A LOT. IF YOU COMPLETE A EXCHANGE AT DIFFERENT TIMES IT CAN SOMETIMES CHARGE THE FINANCING INCORRECTLY. ONCE YOU GET DONE WITH A CONTACT DATE IT DOESN'T UPDATE YOUR PAGE FOR EVERYONE ELSE. IT COULD SAY YOU HAVE 25 CONTACT DATES BUT ONCE YOU REFRESH IT, YOU ACTUALLY HAVE LIKE 8.

I really love using Storis because I feel like it keeps everything really organized. I really like how easy it is for me to track everything and I feel like all of our retail store information is really up to date. I also really like how easy it is to find a client's information!

I don't like how many different categories storis has. There are way too many different icons and that can get kind of confusing to use at times. Also, sometimes storis freezes and then you have clients standing there waiting for you to rush everything.

I think the storis software program is really great to use for your retail business because it is so organized and you can find information very easily!

The main thing that I find challenging is that storis can be overwhelming when you haven't used it before. Once you get the hang of using the program then everything kind of comes as second nature.

**What do you like best about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

It has a great deal of balanced governance that doesn't enable the client to commit errors. It likewise demonstrates the fashioner custom alternatives they may not know about to give their customer the most ideal structure arrangement. When you gain proficiency with the drop-down shortened forms and become capable you can rapidly make a statement for your customer. New representatives never presented to the framework can lift it up quickly as it is amazingly easy to use. Our executive can rapidly fix any mistakes we may have made. The reports it produces enable us to give continuous data to our customers. The capacity to audit customers past buys while adding things to their house is exceptionally useful and choosing new furniture that will compliment what they have acquired previously!

Absolutely - and I am tough - not even one negative thought about the company or its software

**Recommendations to others considering STORIS Unified Commerce:**

In general we have been content with Storis. A great deal of the inconveniences we have experienced are because of the way that we are not a group of PC individuals which is the reason we utilized spreadsheets and deals books for such a long time! Every day it gets simpler and whenever I have truly befuddled Storis answers rapidly and expertly.

**What problems is STORIS Unified Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been with Storis since 2010. As our bookkeeping applications specialist co-op (ASP), we couldn't be more joyful with Storis as our "accomplice" for our product bookkeeping needs. Value-based bookkeeping taking care of business. Powerful, excess implicit, and secluded. Storis keeps up our Inventory on a never-ending premise as we require - from PO's through getting and deals request sell through. A/P and A/R capacities download superbly with a safeguard endorsement process. Adaptable answering to deal with all including deals charges. Really, however, we are most thankful, in regards to the product; yet in addition, the Storis staff. They are constantly accessible to us when we need them to address an inquiry on uncommon exchanges or when we've made information blunders requiring their assistance to address. Storis has progressed toward becoming piece of our all-encompassing "family". You can't improve.

Storis is fairly easy to navigate once you learn the shortcuts such as looking up inventory while in a sales order.

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

I would rather see an overview page when enter all the items on a sales order.  With each section so large, it gets a little confusing.

**What problems is STORIS Unified Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Storis to enter sales order and process financing and payments.  This is really beneficial to the sales staff since they can process payments themselves rather than taking to the office.

  ### 20. CUMBERSOME AND INEFFICIENT

**What do you like best about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

View Customer Activity screen allows you to toggle between many fields.  Audit comments allows you to actually paste information, including complete emails, into the comments which is a great feature for history.  View historical purchases is a useful feature and you are able to access while in a current order.  There are also many other screens you are able to access and view while in an order or view customer activity.

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

Compared to previous software (HOMES), Storis takes many more steps to accomplish a task.  Cannot be in more than one customer order at a time without purchasing additional licenses to be logged in multiple times.  Very few screens that you can interactively drill into for direct access to make changes in the order.  Unable to view inventory locations, isles and bays directly from order, as you could in Homes.  With the few available interactive screens, not all information you need to view is accessible from any one choice.  We contracted to separate company (at cost to us) to build additional reports we needed.  In general, the software is cumbersome to use and there are multiple kinks.  You cannot upload floor model merchandise located at store to Dispatch Track or pre-scheduled deliveries with all back ordered product  without adding a phantom sku to the order so that system thinks there is product assigned from delivery location.  In general, after the point of sale itself, managing the orders is inefficient and cumbersome.

**Recommendations to others considering STORIS Unified Commerce:**

If you have option to continuing using Homes, don't switch to Storis.  Implementing is a nightmare and every day operations are cumbersome.

It can be quite confusing sometimes but once you get the hang of it its awesome.

Mostly customer service issues. Such as furniture i get to solve issues for them. Finance for them and even look up customers info for myself or customers

I love the fact that you can use it as a POS and a customization tool

I do not like not being able to go back and edit things or at least not easily.

What I enjoy the most from the STORIS POS is the ability to keep track of any customer's information easily. STORIS POS has an incredibly easy user interface to navigate through.

STORIS POS is actually really hard to dislike at all. It is easy to use and efficient. I guess what I dislike about STORIS POS is that I can not dislike it!

STORIS POS has been extremely helpful in day to day customer interactions and overall information management. Give it a shot!

Using STORIS POS has helped speed up the check out process with a customer, as well as keep their information organized and stored in the system. With STORIS POS you can store a ticket in the system and go back and find it within seconds!

Some processes for custom furniture orders worked well out of the box. Warehouse management was decent.

System is an application that only works on PC. You can't work on multiple pages at once, really difficult to navigate. Hard to learn and use. Hard to get data out.

There are other systems that use current technology (SAAS) for small to mid sized businesses that you should look into.

**What do you like best about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

It is very easy to use, and therefore easy to train new users.  It is an all-in-one solution that replaces pretty much everything we were using.  The Storis team is fantastic at helping with anything. 

**What do you dislike about STORIS Unified Commerce?**

The back end system is vastly different from what we were using (GERS) so its been a struggle to get similar reports created, whether inside of storis or using SQL on the back end tables.  Storis is VERY expensive.

**Recommendations to others considering STORIS Unified Commerce:**

Make sure you bring in your old data correctly.  Double and triple check everything!

**What problems is STORIS Unified Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had sales associates cheating the company and/or the customers because GERS wasn't locked down well enough, due to the discounts and promotions we offer.  Storis has solved this problem and eliminated 99% of dishonesty.  We have increased our GM% by nearly 2 points and increased our customers happiness.

Allows all staff to use the same programming and communicate with each other.  In the past, with multiple softwares it was more difficult to explain across the company.

STORIS is very user-friendly and easy to learn. It is programmable to not allow many mistakes to happen. It won't let you leave a screen if you forgot to put in some importation information.

It's not exactly attractive, but that probably only bothers me.
