This versatility allows teams to maintain a professional and consistent tone while tailoring their responses to the specific context of each RFP. One of the standout features of Steerlab is its ability to automatically generate up to 90% of responses using pre-approved content. The platform supports both straightforward Q&A formats and more elaborate narrative sections, such as executive summaries and solution descriptions, making it adaptable to a wide range of proposal requirements. Additionally, the self-updating content library organizes information by product, topic, and use case, ensuring that teams have access to the most relevant and current data without the need for manual upkeep. Steerlab also empowers teams to make informed decisions with its Go/No-Go agent, which evaluates the suitability of responding to an RFP based on various factors, including fit and internal capacity. The platform includes features for bias detection and gap analysis, allowing users to identify potential issues early in the process. Furthermore, deal pattern insights provide valuable analytics that help teams understand what strategies are effective across different industries and buyer types, enhancing future submissions. Collaboration is seamless with Steerlab, as it allows real-time interaction among internal and external teams. Users can assign tasks, leave comments, and track changes directly within familiar document formats, eliminating the need for cumbersome reformatting. The platform integrates smoothly with existing tools such as Notion, SharePoint, Google Drive, Salesforce, and Slack, ensuring that teams can work efficiently without switching between applications. Steerlab is designed with enterprise needs in mind, offering robust security and compliance with standards such as SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR. It can be hosted in either the EU or US, depending on client preferences, and importantly, customer data is never utilized to train the AI models. ## Steerlab Reviews
 ### 1. Cut Response Time and Eliminates Version Control Risk

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

School districts tend to ask very specific questions about accessibility, data privacy for student records, and how a tool will integrate with their existing systems. Steerlab helps by pulling those answers from our own past submissions instead of forcing us to guess or rewrite from scratch, which really matters when a district’s IT director is reading every line closely. Since we started using it, our response time on these bids has dropped noticeably.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Some district procurement portals still use older PDF forms that don’t import cleanly, so we end up tidying them up manually. It’s not a big deal overall just a small extra step that comes up from time to time.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to lose track of which version of our data privacy response was the most current, especially after policy updates, and that created a level of risk we didn’t like carrying. Now everything lives in one place, and updates flow through automatically, so nobody is working off an old draft anymore.

 ### 2. Steerlab makes responses to RFPs faster and more consistent.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

We receive a steady stream of vendor and carrier RFPs asking about our fleet capacity, route coverage, and safety records. Steerlab pulls those answers directly from documents we’ve already submitted in the past, so the team isn’t rewriting the same details every time. It’s saved us a lot of repetitive work, and our responses are now more consistent across submissions.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

There are some shipping company portals we work with that Steerlab, through its Chrome extension, does not yet support. As a result, we still have to manually copy responses into those portals. It's a bit annoying, although it's not a major issue.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we found ourselves having to decline some RFPs simply because we didn't have enough resources to respond to all of them. As a result, we missed out on good opportunities, not due to a lack of interest or quality, but just because of time constraints. Now we manage to respond to almost everything that comes in, and the team is no longer forced to scramble at the last minute to put together the responses.

 ### 3. Steerlab Speeds Due Diligence with Trusted, Traceable Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Every new carrier partnership starts with a due diligence packet covering underwriting practices, claims history, financial stability the whole lot. Steerlab pulls those answers directly from our own verified records and shows exactly where each one came from. That level of traceability gives our legal team the confidence to sign off faster, instead of having to double-check everything from scratch.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

A couple of state-specific regulatory templates still aren’t quite ready, so the first time we run into one, we have to set it up ourselves. Once it’s configured, it stays in place, but it would be nice not to have to do that initial setup at all.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before this, putting together due diligence packets meant pulling people from legal, underwriting, and compliance into a single document for days at a time. Now, most of it assembles itself from verified content, and our specialists only step in where it actually matters. We’re closing carrier partnerships faster, and nobody’s calendar gets wrecked in the process.

 ### 4. Steerlab Speeds Up Telecom Security Questionnaires with Accurate, Transparent Answers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Enterprise telecom contracts often include security and network reliability questionnaires that can run well past 300 questions. Steerlab pulls answers directly from our own documentation rather than producing something generic, and it’s transparent about when it isn’t sure. That level of accuracy matters when a client’s IT team is going to scrutinize every line. As a result, our team gets through these reviews in a fraction of the time it used to take.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The reporting could go deeper. I’d like to see which answers get reused most often so I can better understand where our content gaps are. It’s not a dealbreaker just something on my wishlist.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Large security questionnaires used to mean pulling our network engineers off real work for days. Now, most of it gets handled without them, and they only step in for the questions that actually need their expertise. As a result, we close enterprise deals faster, and our technical staff isn’t buried in paperwork anymore.

 ### 5. Steerlab Streamlines Healthcare RFPs with Verified, Compliant Responses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Our RFPs include detailed questions about clinical protocols, credentialing, and data security. Steerlab pulls responses directly from our verified documents instead of guessing, and that distinction matters a lot in healthcare. Our compliance and clinical teams can now review everything in one place, rather than getting stuck in endless email threads.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The pre-built templates for HIPAA and security questionnaires feel a bit limited. The newer prayer formats also still require some manual setup the first time you use them. It’s a one-time cost, but a deeper, more complete template library would make the product more helpful overall.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to pull compliance, clinical, and IT security input into the same document at different times, always hoping nothing slipped through the cracks. Now everyone reviews the same version, and every answer can be traced back to its source. Our proposal timelines are shorter, and I feel confident in what we’re submitting.

 ### 6. Steerlab Makes Bid Paperwork Easy to Organize and Find in Seconds

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Construction bids come with a lot of paperwork technical specs, safety certifications, past project references, the works. What I like most is that Steerlab keeps all of that organized and easy to find. I used to spend my mornings digging through old project folders tryin to find the right safety record or certification number. Now I just search for it and it is there in seconds, pulled from documents we have already used before. The team picked it up fast too. Nobody needed a manual or a training class. We jsut started using it.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Some of our bid papers come in a variety of formats, especially older scanned PDFs, mostly from government clients. Those still need some manual cleanup before they import correctly. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it slows me down. I’ve heard they’re working on better handling for scanned papers, so I’m hopeful this improves soon.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our bid process lived across shared drives, email attachments, and one very tired spreadsheets that tracked deadlines. Things got missed. A bid would go out with an outdated safety certificate or someone would submit the wrong version of a document because three people had been editing it separately. That does not happen anymore. Everything lives in one place, the right version is always the version everyone sees, and we have actually increased the number of bids we submit each quarter because the process does not eat up nearly as much time. For a small team like ours, that extra capacity is huge.

 ### 7. Peace of Mind with Transparent, Document-Backed Proposal Answers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Honestly, the biggest thing for me is the peace of mind. Now, when I send a proposal out, I know exactly what’s in it and where it came from. The answers are pulled from our own documents, not something the AI made up, and if it can’t find a solid match, it simply says no. That level of transparency is exactly what our team needed, and it’s made the entire review process feel a lot calmer and more controlled.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

For some of the more specific regulatory forms we use, there isn’t a ready-made template, so you have to do a bit of setup yourself the first time. It’s only a one-time effort per document type, but a broader template library would remove that extra step. Overall, it’s a small issue.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to waste so much time just trying to get everyone on the same page emails going back and forth, multiple versions of the same document, and people stuck waiting on other people. The actual writing was the easy part. Now everything happens in one place, the right people are already looped in, and the final document goes out clean, with sources attached. Our proposals take a fraction of the time they used to, and we haven’t had to trade quality for speed. In this industry, that matters a lot.

 ### 8. Steerlab Keeps Up with High RFP Volume—Fast, Verified Answers and a Clean UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

In IT services sales, the RFP volume can be relentless security questionnaires, technical proposals, vendor assessments, all landing at the same time. What I like most about Steerlab is that it actually keeps up. It pulls relevant answers from our own verified content, not generic filler, and the quality is good enough that most responses need only a light edit before they're ready. The interface is clean and the team got comfortable with it fast. No lengthy rollout, no resistance from the team just people using it because it genuinely makes their day easier.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

When exporting with structured templates, the formatting sometimes shifts slightly, which ends up costing me a few extra minutes to fix before I can send it out.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proposal work was killing us. We were spending hours just chasing people down, collecting answers from all over the place, and somehow things still didn’t match up half the time. Meanwhile, real deals were getting pushed to the back burner. Steerlab fixed that. Now everything lives in one place, the right people get looped in without us having to constantly bug them, and we’re moving a lot faster. The team can finally focus on selling again, which is all we ever wanted.

 ### 9. Content Library That Halved Our Proposal Turnaround Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

The content library has genuinely changed how we put together operational proposals and respond to detailed service inquiries. What used to require digging through old project files to track down the right answer now takes only a few seconds. The platform is straightforward, so getting the team up to speed wasn’t an ordeal; people simply picked it up and got on with their work. Since switching, our proposal turnaround time has dropped by about half, and we noticed the difference pretty quickly.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

After a few months of use, I’m still happy with how it performs day to day. The main thing I’d like to see is stronger native integration with some of the smaller consumer service CRMs we use. It’s a minor gap rather than a real issue the platform runs reliably, and the support team is quick to respond whenever you flag something. Overall, I’d expect the integrations to improve as the product continues to grow.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every proposal and client questionnaire used to go through a slow, manual review process checking, verifying, and reformatting everything. It added up to a lot of hours across the team each week. Steerlab has sped that up without compromising accuracy, which was our biggest concern going in. The time we’ve gained back has gone into work that actually moves the business forward, and the return has been clear almost from the start.

 ### 10. Steerlab Streamlines RFPs with a Clean UI and Helpful AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

I love Steerlab because it makes the whole RFP process much easier for me. The interface is clean and simple to use, and I find the AI part of Steerlab especially helpful. Getting it set up wasn’t hard at all. Overall, Steerlab saves our team a lot of time, helps us respond faster, and lets us do it in a more consistent way.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

A few of the more advanced features aren’t immediately obvious. You do find them eventually, but a bit more signposting early on would really help. Some integrations also feel like they could be smoother, and the reporting side still has room to grow. More flexibility there would make it easier to track things in a way that matches how our team actually works.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Steerlab has really helped us solve a problem. Before we started using it, we spent too much time writing responses by hand, and the whole thing felt like a process. Now everything is faster and more organized, and it’s also a lot less stressful for our team. Steerlab has genuinely made a difference for us. We use Steerlab to make the RFP process easier, and it works really well.

 ### 11. Fast, Accurate Search That Saves Reps Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

The search finds the right answer fast from our own content, not something made up. Our reps use it during live deals and it saves them a lot of time. Assigning sections and tracking progress is simple too. The team picked it up quickly with no real training needed.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The Slack approval workflow feels a bit limited. I still have to go back into the app to actually take action. The Chrome extension also doesn’t cover one portal we use regularly. They’re relatively small issues, and it sounds like both are already being worked on.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to skip RFPs because the team didn't have time. Now we respond to almost everything. The AI handles the repetitive work and the team focuses on what matters. Response quality is up and turnaround time is down. Big difference for a sales team our size.

 ### 12. Steerlab Helped Us Launch Personalized Retention Playbooks Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Steerlab’s visual playbook builder, along with its AI suggestions, helped our small fintech run personalized retention campaigns quickly. The drag-and-drop journey editor, plus the preview and testing tools, reduced our build time from days to hours. Integrations with Segment and BigQuery were straightforward, and the onboarding team supported us in launching our first playbook within two weeks.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Some of the more advanced options are buried a bit too deep in the menus, and a few regional banking connectors we rely on are still missing. The reporting is useful overall, but exporting dashboards to share with executives remains a manual step. Clearer pricing guidance around event volume would also make budgeting easier.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to stitch together SQL queries and guess which campaigns would move the metrics. Now we can build multi-step flows quickly, target AI-recommended cohorts, and see measurable wins for example, a 12% lift in trial-to-paid conversions on our early campaigns. That combination of speed and clearer attribution has made it much easier to prioritize growth work.

 ### 13. Unmatched Document Parsing That Saves Us Hours

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

The way it handles incoming documents is unmatched. I threw a massive, messy 500-line Excel sheet at it random merged cells, hidden tabs, the works fully expecting the system to error out like our previous software always did. Instead, it parsed everything perfectly and instantly mapped the question columns. The time saved on document prep and formatting alone is incredible, and the initial drafts it puts together give us a huge head start.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

It doesn’t have a built-in feature to generate presentation summaries or client decks once a bid is finalized. We often need to put together a summary deck for executive alignment after submission, so having to keep that part of the workflow manual is a bit of a drag.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to lose hours of valuable productivity just cleaning up and reformatting messy procurement spreadsheets before we could even start typing out our answers. Steerlab removes that entire preprocessing headache. It takes the source files as-is, so our team can spend its energy on strategic tailoring instead of battling cell formatting.

 ### 14. Finally an RFP tool that doesn't feel like extra work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anita D. | Chief Risk Officer, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

The thing I appreciate most is how the AI actually understands context. It doesn't just spit out generic answers it pulls from our content library and generates responses that make sense for the specific question. The confidence score is a nice touch too, so we know which answers need a closer look and which ones are good to go. It's saved us hours on every single RFP.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Honestly, nothing major. Early on there were a couple of small features we hoped for, but the team has been consistently rolling out updates and adding exactly what users ask for. It's clear they're paying attention.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of starting from scratch every time we get an RFP. Now we have a system that remembers everything, learns from our content, and helps us respond faster and more consistently. That means we can focus more on the actual strategy and less on the repetitive writing.

 ### 15. Seamless Collaboration and Great Integrations for Proposal Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcus J. | Account Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

The real time collaboration features are fantastic. Being able to assign tasks, leave comments, and track changes directly within familiar document formats (like Word) has eliminated the back and-forth email chaos we used to deal with. Plus, the seamless integrations with tools like Slack, Salesforce, and Google Drive mean it fits perfectly into our existing workflow without disruption.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The self updating content library is brilliant, but it did require some initial setup and organization to tailor it perfectly to our products and use cases. Once that was done, however, it has been effortless to maintain.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Steerlab solves the major problem of fragmented communication during the proposal process. It centralizes everything content, tasks, and feedback in one place, making collaboration between PreSales, Security, and Proposal teams incredibly smooth. This has not only saved us time but also reduced errors and ensured that our best expertise is reflected in every final submission.

 ### 16. Easy to Adopt and Trustworthy Answers with Steerlab

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

I wasn’t sure about trying another tool at first, but Steerlab was easy to get started with. There wasn’t any major setup required, and my team picked it up quickly. I also appreciate that it only uses our own content, which makes the answers feel accurate and trustworthy.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

I’d like more visibility into how the content library is being used. It would be really helpful to see which answers are used most often and which ones aren’t being used at all, so it’s clearer what’s working and what’s being ignored.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Steerlab saves a lot of time for our senior team. Previously, even a simple questionnaire could end up involving several experienced people. Now, junior staff can handle most of the work, and senior team members only step in when they’re actually needed.

 ### 17. Steerlab Keeps Our Healthtech Content Fresh and Pitches Sharper

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Steerlab’s auto-managed content library is clutch—it keeps our approved healthtech docs up to date without me having to babysit uploads. The AI also crafts human-like responses in seconds, and it can match client-specific tones really well. I also love the built-in win probability scores and bias detection; they surface gaps early, so our pitches land stronger every time.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The multilingual support is solid, but it would be even better if it handled niche healthtech jargon across more languages out of the box. For our international bids, we still sometimes need to make a quick tweak here and there.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With just five of us, RFPs used to derail everything. We were constantly hunting down stale content, coordinating feedback through endless email chains, and second-guessing compliance for regulated clients. Steerlab changes that. It auto-generates roughly 85% of each draft from our library, tracks progress with smart alerts when things bottleneck, supports real-time comments and contributions, and surfaces data-backed insights from past wins and losses. Now our turnaround is down to hours, we’ve landed 40% more gigs this quarter, and we can finally focus on strategy instead of getting buried in busywork. It’s been a great fit for a scrappy consultancy like ours going after big healthtech deals.

 ### 18. Steerlab’s AI Delivers Near-Ready RFP Responses That Sound Like Us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

The AI in Steerlab is amazing. It really understands our content library and produces RFP responses that sound like our team wrote them. Most of the time, they’re about 80–90% ready and only need a quick polish. The confidence scores are helpful as well, because they show us which parts aren’t quite right so we can fix them quickly no more guessing. The AI is great at handling IT services questions. It uses our policies past successes to come up with good answers. This is especially helpful when we are pitching to clients in time zones across APAC.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The dashboard export feature needs improvement. It would be great if we could customize exported reports with our branding and filters directly in the tool, without having to rely on Excel. That would save us a lot of time, especially since things move fast and we’re often in a hurry in the sales world.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Steerlab, dealing with RFPs was a nightmare for our growing team. We had to dig through tons of documents, make sure we were following all the deal rules, and spend late nights working with engineers. A lot of our bids failed simply because we were exhausted.

Now Steerlab auto-generates answers that fit each RFP really well. The responses are ready in hours, not days, and our team can collaborate on them in time to submit strong bids. This quarter, we’ve won 30% deals. We’re not burned out anymore, and we can focus on closing deals and growing the business.

I highly recommend Steerlab to any sales team in IT services. It really works.

 ### 19. Quick Setup and Smooth CRM Sync for Stronger Sales–Engineering Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Setup is very quick. It syncs with our CRM, which makes it easy for our engineers to add technical details to the responses we send when people request proposals. That, in turn, helps our sales team and the solution team collaborate smoothly and stay aligned.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

I think it would be better if we could see more detailed information about how people use our stuff, like the kinds of questions they’re asking. That would help us improve our content library over time and make it more useful.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to get pulled into answering the same questions about our software over and over again, and it really slowed me down. This tool uses intelligence to take on the hard work for us. It can produce drafts that our engineers consider solid in just a few minutes. That frees me up to focus on making our proposals as strong as possible, which helps us get deals done faster. In our case, we’re talking about moving each deal along weeks faster.

 ### 20. AI Automation That Lets Us Respond to Nearly Every RFP Opportunity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

We used to sit around a table and decide with RFPs were worth our time not because we didn't want the work, but because we simply didn't have the bandwidth to chase everything. That conversation doesn't happen anymore. we respond to nearly every opportunity that comes in now. The AI takes on the repetitive groundwork and the team puts its energy into the parts that actually require human thinking. That shift alone changed how we operate.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Chrome extension coverage is good but not complete. A handful of portals still need you to switch over to the full web app, which adds a small but noticeable interruption to an otherwise smooth process.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We knew we were leaving money on the table we just hadn't sat down to add it up properly. When we did, the number was uncomfortable. Six figures a year in opportunities we never even submitted for, not because we weren't qualified, but because we ran out of hours. That's not a losing problem, that's a capacity problem. Steerlab solved the capacity problem.

 ### 21. Steerlab’s Source-Backed Answers You Can Trust for Proposal Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Steerlab does not try to impress you. It gives you answers with sources and if it does not have one it says so and stops. No extra information, no guesses that sound confident. For proposal work. Where a wrong answer does not just look bad it can cost you the bid. That kind of approach is exactly what you need from an AI tool.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Right now, there’s no way to export responses into a presentation. After a bid, every summary deck still has to be created from scratch, which feels like an unnecessary extra step when all of that content is already in the platform.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We tried AI tools that could write well, but they were often wrong. They sounded polished and were easy to read, yet they were completely untrustworthy. We had to check for mistakes before sending anything, and that quickly became its own task. At that point, we started questioning what the tool was really saving us. We didn’t need something that could write like a journalist; we needed something we could rely on. Steerlab understood this and built for it.

 ### 22. Clean Interface and Frictionless Onboarding That Saves Real Hours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

I’ve used enough proposal tools to know that a clean interface is never a given. With Steerlab, everything is simply where you’d expect it to be—no wandering through settings, and no decoding terminology that only makes sense to whoever built the tool. We had someone new join mid-bid recently, and they were contributing the same day without anyone having to sit with them. No guide, no walkthrough, nothing.

When you’re managing deadlines and coordinating a full team, that kind of frictionless onboarding isn’t just a nice-to-have; it genuinely saves you hours. It’s also one of those benefits you don’t fully appreciate until you’ve dealt with the alternative.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The Chrome extension works well across most portals, but there’s one regional platform we use that still isn’t supported. It’s not a dealbreaker—the team has confirmed it’s on the roadmap—but for now it does mean the occasional manual workaround in the meantime.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous tool was technically capable, but in practice it was miserable to use. The interface fought you at every step; people avoided it not because they didn’t want to use it, but because simply opening it made even basic tasks feel unnecessarily difficult. As a result, they drifted back to doing things manually, which defeated the whole point. When software is harder than the work it’s supposed to simplify, adoption doesn’t fail loudly—it just fades away. Steerlab fixed that by being straightforward and easy to work with.

 ### 23. One Shared View That Keeps Our Team Aligned and Version-Safe

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Assigning sections, tracking who’s done what, leaving feedback, and signing off on answers it all lives in the same place. The days of attaching Word docs to emails and crossing your fingers that nobody saves over the wrong version are completely behind us. Now the whole team works from one shared view, and everyone always knows exactly where things stand.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Slide generation isn’t quite there yet. After a submission, we usually put together a briefing deck for internal stakeholders, and for now that’s still a manual task. Given how much structured content already exists inside Steerlab by that point, an export-to-slides feature would feel like a natural and genuinely useful addition.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anyone who’s managed proposals on a shared drive knows the feeling: you open the file and immediately wonder whether you’re even looking at the right version. We’d have two or three people working in the same document, and inevitably someone’s edits would disappear—or worse, quietly overwrite someone else’s. Hours of careful writing, just gone. After it happened enough times, we stopped being surprised and started building extra time into the schedule to account for the chaos. That’s not a workflow; that’s damage control. Steerlab put an end to it: one place, one version, and no more archaeology to figure out what the final answer actually was.

 ### 24. Steerlab’s Excel Support Handled Our Messy Files Flawlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Excel support was genuinely the deciding factor for us. We had around 500 question files with the kind of formatting that makes most tools give up merged cells, nested tabs, and inconsistent structures. Every other platform we tested either choked on them or mangled the output. Steerlab handled them without complaint and came out the other side with clean results. That alone justified the switch for us.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Slack’s approval workflow exists, but right now it feels fairly surface-level. For simple, straightforward sign-offs it gets the job done, but anything with more nuance still ends up pulling me back into the main app. Adding more depth here would make a real difference and meaningfully cut down on the context switching.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendor questionnaires used to be something our team genuinely dreaded. Not because of the questions themselves, but because of the state the files arrived in: bizarre layouts, broken formatting, and columns that made no logical sense. Getting them into a workable state often took longer than actually answering them. That cleanup burden is completely gone now. We can open the file and start working right away, which is how it always should have been.

 ### 25. A Practical AI Tool for Proposal Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Steerlab helps us keep our proposal work organized and moving quickly. The AI support is genuinely helpful for drafting responses, surfacing relevant past content, and keeping the language more consistent across different bids. Overall, it has made collaboration easier and cut down on a lot of repetitive manual work.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Some advanced options could be easier to navigate, especially when working under tight deadlines. A few more integration choices and better reporting would make it even stronger for larger proposal teams.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Steerlab, proposal writing took to much time because we had to search for old answers and rebuild content from scratch. Now we can reuse strong material, respond faster, and spend more time improving the quality of each proposal instead of starting over every time.

 ### 26. A Self-Maintaining Content Library That Keeps Answers Getting Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Every approved answer feeds straight back into the content library automatically, and anything that’s gone stale gets flagged before it turns into a problem. Since we started, I haven’t had to touch the library manually even once, and yet the quality of the answers has only improved over time. It basically maintains itself, which might sound simple, but it’s genuinely rare.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

A handful of very specific word-formatting edge cases still need a light touch after export. It’s minor and doesn’t come up often, but it’s worth knowing. The latest release is apparently meant to address this, although I haven’t had the chance to verify it firsthand yet.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our answer library was always lagging behind. No one had the bandwidth to keep it up to date, so it slowly drifted, and proposals would go out with product descriptions that were a year out of date. We only realized how bad it had gotten when a client pointed it out. Steerlab closed that gap without adding any extra overhead. Now the library stays current on its own, and we no longer worry about which version of the truth we’re submitting.

 ### 27. Fast setup zero friction

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Honestly, I went in with low expectations, because day-one new tools rarely hit the ground running. But by mid-morning we had our data sources connected, and before the afternoon was out we already had a real, working draft in front of us. There was no IT involvement, no phased setup, and no sitting around waiting for access to be provisioned. That kind of immediacy matters more than people give it credit for. When active bids are on the line, every day spent onboarding is a day your competitors aren’t standing still. Steerlab just removes that gap completely.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The Slack alerts are timely and genuinely useful, but the handoff still means I have to jump back into the main app to finish an approval. It’s a small point of friction in what is otherwise a smooth, fluid process, and being able to close that loop entirely within Slack would be a truly helpful upgrade.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform we used before took weeks to get off the ground. By the time we were finally set up, we’d already missed opportunities and the team had lost momentum—basically a quarter of our productivity gone before we’d written a single response. That experience made us much more deliberate when evaluating tools. Steerlab was the first one that didn’t make us pay an entry fee in lost time just to get started.

 ### 28. Transparent AI is the only kind worth using

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Every suggested answer traces back to a specific paragraph in the source document not just a vague reference, the exact passage. And when it can't find a strong match, it tells you that too. That kind of honesty is rare in AI tooling, and it's precisely why we feel confident using it for regulated submissions where every answer has to be defensible.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The Chrome extension doesn't yet cover a couple of the smaller procurement platforms we occasionally work with. Coverage is solid overall - this is a minor gap, not a dealbreaker, but it's worth knowing going in.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous tool gave us AI suggestions with no way to trace where they came from. In an audit, that's not just unhelpful it's a liability. Steerlab replaced that uncertainty with a clear paper trail for every single answer. Now when someone ask how we arrived at a response, we can show them exactly.

 ### 29. Steerlab Supercharged Our RFP & Security Questionnaire Responses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karri S. | Co-Founder, CEO at Linear, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

We have been using Steerlab for about 6 months, and it has significantly improved our team handles RFPs and security questionnaires. The AI assisted response generation is very effective, especially when working with repetitive questions. It can generate a large portion of answer using existing content, which saves our team a lot of time

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

While the AI is helpful, some responses still need manual review to ensure accuracy, especially in highly technical or customized sections. There’s a slight learning curve when you first set up the content library and workflows, but it gets easier to manage over time.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Steerlab, responding to RFPs and security questionnaires was time consuming and require a lot of manual effort. Now , we are able to complete responses much faster and with better consistency.

 ### 30. Fast Feedback-Driven Development, but RfP Review Workflow Needs More Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

- Fast development based on feedback
- Tracking of answers (review, non reviewed)
- Confidence level of answer (general idea)

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

- it happens that the answers are based on replies from other RfPs where the questions where a bit different, thus, the answer in steerlab goes down a road which is not the right one
- Confidence level seems to be based on length of answer
- the whole "RfP" needs to be "Reviewed" so the answers go back into the pool. However, I / we work a bit different. Thus, many RfP projects are not finalized in steerlab. IT would be helpful, that projects which are not finalized within a certain time period, will pop up with the user by asking "if the project is done" and the answers are going into the knowledge hub

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helps to reuse answers
helps people new in the organization to answer rfps with more confidence and less time for manager to review
one stop shop for rfp knowledge hub + project orchestration

 ### 31. Switched from Loopio and don't miss it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

We spent 2 years on Loopio before making the switch to Steerlab. The AI is noticeably better, Excel handling isn't even a comparison, and the interface is clean enough that the team picked it up faster than we anticipated. When a migration goes that smoothly, you know you made the right call.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The Slack integration works well for notifications, but the in Slack approval workflow feels like it has more room to grow. It gets your partway there just not all the way yet.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our content library had quietly gone stale, and the AI was surfacing outdated answers often enough that it became a real trust issue. Every suggestion needed a second look. Steerlab fixed that the answers it pulls are current, and the team can actually rely on them.

 ### 32. Import any format and get to work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Government RFPs don't arrive in clean, tidy formats. You get multi-tab Excel files, word docs full of tracked changes, PDFs with embedded tables the works. Steerlab handles all of it without complaint and gets you straight into responding. No wrestling with the files first.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Slide generation would be a welcome addition even something basic. After every major bid, we manually put together a highlights deck, which feels pretty redundant when the content is already there. A simple summary export would save the team real time.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to lose half a day just getting documents into a workable state before any actual proposal writing could begin. That entire prep step is gone now. We open the RFP and we are already working.

 ### 33. Real-Time Collaborative Editing That Keeps Our Pitches Moving

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

The collaborative editing feature is really great for IT consulting pitches. It lets my team work on AI drafts in real time without having to worry about conflicting versions. As a result, we can keep deals moving forward smoothly without any hiccups.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

I wish there were templates we could use for things like cloud migrations or cybersecurity. Having these available would be really helpful.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we get requests for proposals from clients for IT services they can be very different from one another. This can be overwhelming. Make the sales process take a long time. Steerlab helps us with this by using our knowledge base to create documents

 ### 34. Accurate AI Responses That Save Time on RFx & Security Questionnaires

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

We really like the accurate responses generated by Steerlab's AI for our RFx and Security questionnaires, reassured with a confidence score. We are amazed by Steerlab's ability to scan our library of policy documents to generate a clear, concise response to complex risk and compliance questions, saving us time and effort.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

When we first started using Steerlab, we found some functionality missing from the solution, but over the last 12 months, we have seen a rapidly evolving and expanding range of great new features. Steerlab is taking on board our feedback to improve the solution further, so we all benefit from a fantastic system.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Steerlab is helping us complete questionnaires much more quickly, more consistently, and with greater accuracy, thereby saving us time and effort on proposals. We can spend more time on engagement to secure opportunities and increase our success rates.

 ### 35. Steerlab AI Delivers Nuanced RFP Responses and Saves Us Hours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Steerlab’s AI nails the nuance of software-specific RFPs, pulling from our content library to generate responses that sound like they came straight from our team and save us hours on every submission.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The analytics dashboard could benefit from more customizable filters, especially for tracking response trends across multiple deals.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Steerlab, coordinating sales ops during RFP season was chaos documents were scattered everywhere and we were stuck doing endless manual edits. Now it auto-generates answers that are about 85% complete and includes confidence scores, so we can focus on closing deals instead of grunt work. Since switching, our quarterly win rate has improved noticeably.

 ### 36. Small team big output

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John P. | Head of Solutions Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

We are a small team so we can't afford to have people sending days on proposals. Steerlab lets our sales reps handle most REPs themselve without needing a dedicated proposal person. Game changer for lean teams.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Their customers were mainly mid-market and enterprise. As one of their first smaller clients, the original pricing structure was not built for our profile. After our feedback, they adjusted the model created a more appropriate offer.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having enough people to respond to every RFP that comes in. We used to pass on opportunities because we simply didn't have the bandwidth. Not anymore.

 ### 37. Designed for bid managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa C. | VP of Lending, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

MostRFP software feels like it was built for sales teams and adapted for proposals as an afterthought. Steerlab clearly understands what bid managers need day to day. The workflows and tracking features prove it.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Word exports are reliable in general but one heavily formatted template gave us trouble. The team shipped a patch for this recently.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running a serious bid operation on tools that werent built for it. Spreadsheets and project boards and email threads are not a proposal management system.

 ### 38. The Slack bot is my secret weapon

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

I use it multiple times a day during prospect calls. Ask a question, get a sourced answer in seconds, it's like having our entire knowledge base on speed dial. For real-time lookups, it's hard to beat.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

It's great for quick lookups, but running a full approval cycle inside Slack isn't really there yet. If that were possible, it could seriously speed up turnaround times.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Live calls used to mean scrambling, digging through Confluence pages, shared drives, old email threads just to find one answer. The bot made all of that instant. No more putting a prospect on hold to hunt something down.

 ### 39. Zero rewriting needed on most answers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda C. | CEO and Co-Founder, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

The AI output is good enough to submit with minor edits on about 80% of questions. For the remaining 20% it either flags uncertainty or gives me source options to work from. Massive time saver.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

No capability to generate slides from completed responses. For client facing summaries we still build decks from scratch.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rewriting every AI generated draft from scratch because the quality was too low to use. Steerlab actually produces usable content out of the box.

 ### 40. Auto-Fills RFPs Fast, Boosts Win Rates, and Keeps Content Fresh

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam W. | CTO and Co-Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

I love how it auto makes up to 90% of RFP answers using our ready content. Saves tons of time on IT proposals. The library updates itself by topic and use, no manual work. Team works together live in Word or Excel, links with Slack easy. Our win rates went up.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The Go/No-Go tool is good but needs better options for special IT stuff like old system links. Small fix.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It fixes our big RFP issues; cuts time from weeks to days with AI for questions and stories. Great for security forms in IT, spots bias and gaps early, gives tips on winning deals. SOC 2 and GDPR safe, no using our data for training lets us focus on closing sales.

 ### 41. Fully lifecycle in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Steerlab handles the entire RFP process end to end from the moment one lands in your inbox all the way through final submission. Import, draft, review, collaborate, export. Everything lives in one place, with no gaps.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Word support is solid for most use cases, but edge cases involving complex formatting sometimes still need a quick manual fix. That said, a recent update may have already sorted this out.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before this, the RFP process was scattered across multiple tools, each stage living somewhere different. Things constantly fell through the cracks. Steerlab brought it all under one roof.

 ### 42. Security questionnaires done in minutes not hours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentin K. | PreSales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Super easy to get started. I had it connected to our existing tools within a day and started responding to a security questionnaire that same day. the Chrome extension is handy for quick lookups.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The slack bot sometimes needs a more specific query to find the best answer. Minor thing honestly and they are constantly improving it.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security questionnaires used to take out team 4-5 hours each. Now its like 20 minutes tops. That alone justifie the cost.

 ### 43. Compliance team actually likes this one

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Our compliance officer blocked every Ai tool we put in front of her, until Steerlab. The source citations and the fact that it won't generate unsourced content were what finally won her over. That's not a small thing when you've been hitting a wall at every turn.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The Chrome extension works on most portals, but we ran into two it didn't support. To be fair, the team added one almost immediately after we flagged it, and the second is already in progress. Responsive support goes a long way.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every proposal used to go through a week long compliance review because nobody trusted AI-generated content and honestly, fair enough. Now the team spot checks instead. Because they can verify the sources themselves, the trust is already built in.

 ### 44. Designed for Bid Managers: Strong Workflows and Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Most RFP software feels like it was built for sales teams and then shoehorned into proposals an afterthought. Steerlab is different, you can tell it was designed with bid managers in mind from the start. The workflows and tracking features aren't bolted on. They actually reflect how this work gets done.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Word exports are generally reliable, but one heavily formatted template gave us grief. Worth flagging though the team shipped a patch for it shortly after, which shows they're paying attention.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were running a serious bid operation on tools that were never meant for it. Spreadsheets, project boards, email threads, stitched together and called a system. It worked until it didn't. Steerlab replaced all of that with something actually built for the job.

 ### 45. Simple, intuitive, and regularly optimized, with a very attentive team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Very easy to use, very intuitive. Frequent optimizations and very proactive support. A team that is very attentive to its clients.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

I do not use the analytics part. This will probably be the case when I have many more projects on Steerlab. This part, coupled with notifications (triggers) related to the response deadline and with follow-ups with the managers, will be a real advantage.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Steerlab is a true accelerator in responses to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders. But not only that, the AI tool (Co-pilot) is also very useful for responding to incoming requests by email, for example. I believe a browser extension and/or messaging tools are planned. This will also be a real accelerator with even greater penetration as it can help all functions of a company (sales, pre-sales, legal, support, security, partnership, etc.)

 ### 46. No more spreadsheet hell for security reviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quentin B. | CISO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

I mainly use it for security questionnaires. The AI pulls from our previous responses accurately and the quality is consistent. Way better than maintaining a massive.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

You stiil need to double check AI answers on compliance heavy questions, but the confidence score alerts you

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing hundreds of recurring security questions across multiple prospects. It was eating up my entire week before steerlab

 ### 47. Solid RFP tool, the content library is the real MVP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton N. | Bid Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

Good tool. Does what it says. The auto-managed content library is probably my favorite feature I don't have to manually update answers every quarter anymore. It just stays current.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

The UI is great but it misses dark mode. I love dark mode.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stale content in proposals. We were submitting outdated product descriptions without realizing it. The auto-managed library fixed that completely.

 ### 48. Finally a tool that actually saves time on RFPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nico W. | Proposal Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

The auto-generated responses are surprisingly accurate. We used to spend full days copying and pasting from old REFps, now most of the first draft is done in under an hour. The content library stays updated on its own which is a huge plus.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Reporting could be more detailed, would love to slice win/loss data by question category at some point.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminates the copy-paste nightmare of digging through old proposals. Also solves the problem of SMEs ignoring your slack messages because now they can just review and approve instead of writing from scratch

 ### 49. Messy Excel files finally under control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beibit B. | Senior consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

We get questionnaires in the worst Excel formats you can imagine. Merged cells and hidden tabs and conditional formatting everywhere. Steerlab imports them cleanly and exports back to the original format as-is.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

Word files could benefit from a better detection sometimes but overall it's good.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to spent long hours fillout out complex security and technical questionnaires which takes valuable time away from product building. Now I can just upload my files in Steerlab get a first draft, edit a few things and send it.

 ### 50. Easy Onboarding, But Missing Features and Clunky Formatting

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Steerlab?**

It’s easy to use and doesn’t take much time to get new employees up and running.

**What do you dislike about Steerlab?**

There are a few features that seem to be missing (or maybe I just haven’t explored everything thoroughly yet). For example, it would be great to respond to RFPs in the customer’s language to better reflect their terminology in our answers. Also, the formatting can be a bit difficult to navigate.

**What problems is Steerlab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To gather answers more effectively: we used to store past RFP responses in Excel and search through them by keyword, which was very time-consuming. As a Sales Enablement Manager, I no longer need to collect information and manually update Excel files - everything can now be synced directly to Steerlab
