# What's the best Email Template Builder platform for marketing managers creating campaigns without coding knowledge?

I'm researching Email Template Builder platforms specifically for marketing managers who need to build campaigns without touching code. Within Email Template Builder, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact, and Brevo Marketing Platform come up most for this no-code use case.

ActiveCampaign: a drag-and-drop editor paired with automation, the most reviewed platform in this category and a common pick for marketers who want design and workflow logic in one place without writing HTML.

Constant Contact: known for a simple, guided template builder aimed squarely at non-technical users, with a large library of pre-built layouts to start from.

Brevo Marketing Platform: combines an accessible template editor with broader marketing tools, popular with teams that want to grow into automation without switching platforms later.

Dotdigital: a more advanced builder that still keeps things visual and code-free, often chosen by mid-market teams running more complex campaigns.

Zoho Campaigns: a straightforward drag-and-drop builder that fits naturally for teams already using other Zoho tools.

GetResponse: offers a no-code editor alongside automation and landing pages, useful for marketers consolidating multiple campaign tools into one.

For marketing managers building campaigns without any coding background, how much of the template still needed a developer's touch once things got more customized, and where did the no-code promise actually hold up?

<p>The test I’d run is not whether a marketer can build the first template without code, but whether they can safely change it six months later. Add conditional content, dynamic fields, mobile-specific adjustments, a new reusable section, and an unusual Outlook rendering issue. That is usually where “no-code” gets tested. A strong builder should let marketers handle normal campaign variation themselves while making it difficult to accidentally break the responsive structure or brand system.</p>
