Vendors can search their own open invoices, update their information independently, and even attach files on their behalf — which saves a lot of back-and-forth and makes the process much smoother. Overall, it’s a strong platform with excellent vendor-facing functionality, and with a few more enhancements, it could be even more powerful. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** On the downside, there are a few limitations that make things harder for us. For example, we can’t export the approval workflow into an Excel spreadsheet, which would be very useful for tracking and reporting. Another challenge is that I don’t have visibility into which GL codes haven’t been assigned to an approver, which can create bottlenecks. Looking ahead, one feature I’d love to see is for Billy the Bot to be able to read the total amount of an invoice if it happens to land on the second page. I'm an A/P team of one in a fast growing startup. We outgrew our old system and needed to look for something affordable and scalable, whose implementation would interrupt our day-to-day operations as little as possible. That's when we found Stampli. It's incredibly easy to use, allows me to keep up with A/P on my own thanks to my buddy Billy the Bot. Implementation was quick and quite easy, and while we don't run into problems often, customer support is always quick to respond, explains what's happening, and the steps to resolve it. I now use Stampli multiple times per day, and it singlehandedly allows me to keep up with our volume of invoices as a one-woman team without feeling overwhelmed. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** I'd love to see payment information directly on the invoice page or, at the very least, have a link from the invoice page to the payment page similar to how bill.com does it. This would make things so much smoother when checking on the status of invoices and providing remittance information for vendors. I can plan cash flow better with the payment functionality by scheduling payments in the future. In addition, a big time saver has been routing of approvals to the right individuals and not relying on email changes - approvals and any necessary questions are answered in the platform providing a clear documentation of approvals. Non-accounting team members find this easy to use and intuitive. I use Stampli on a daily basis to keep invoices moving through the system, but it only takes me a few minutes each day. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** Our software integration is with Microsoft Business Central Mostly it works great, but there are some elements or purchase orders that don't work as we would like and require additional processing in BC in order to work properly. Another aspect is the time it takes for ACH payments to be processed - generally 5 days for what used to be a 1 to day process when doing natively through my own bank. This ties up working capital. **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** This reduces double or even triple entering of data into our ERP and our banking system by integrating payments with payables. It also provides a platform to document approvals which is helpful when our auditors ask for evidence of that. Simply being able to forward an invoice sent to me by a vendor to our processing inbox gets the process started and I can effectively forget about it at that point until I need to do the actual approval. This keeps things mvoing quickly and ensures timely reporting. I would say that Stampli has been one of the main factos that has helped us reduce our close time down to a couple of days from over a week previously. ### 10. I also love that it doesn't sign you out during the work day unless you are gone for over an hour. Also Stampli syncs into our main ERP (Netsuite) quickly and efficiently. This is a software we use everyday to process over 2,500 invoices a week, and it does a great job of handling the load. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** I wish Stampli had a more robust system when it comes to sending bills back to the purchaser to fix problems on the bills. We all know that problem invoices are a nuisance and Stampli doesn't really help with that portion. Also, the PO portion of Stampli can be stepped up. Stampli really focuses on ease of use and excellent customer service. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** The dollar amounts must include a decimal, adding keystrokes. The multiple location page has drop-down menus that populate and highlight what you have entered. However, you must still select that highlight location or account code. The first entry page will auto-populate what is highlighted, saving you a stroke. None of these are deal breakers! **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** Saving time in the approval process and allowing that time spent on other areas of job responsiblities. ### 48. As we have multiple locations with hundreds of employees each, it can be very time-consuming for our team to reply to multiple vendor emails multiple times per day. We are receiving, coding, and processing millions of dollars of invoicing and this interface make our processes much clearer. It's incredibly helpful that it reads the invoices and places the information into the field, so you aren't wasting time hunting and pecking for those details. It's also so easy to create a distribution list, or listserv, so multiple people can be reached in order to access coding. This makes our processes much easier than having to hunt through your inbox for emails. I especially like the feature where it notifies you that you have an invoice ready for coding and reminds you three days later. That's a great time to keep past due payments at bay, and also help when your workday is overloaded and you can't get to everything straight away. This has streamlined our processes and helped us reduce paper waste and hunting down information, and making sure everyone has access. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** The only downside that I can see is that there is no portal yet for vendors to send the emails straight to Stampli, as that would assist in keeping everything in one centralized location. We have many vendors who do not have technological advancements and still use handwritten invoices, so that is the only downside, but that isn't the fault of the program. **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** Stampli is solving the issues our company was having of moving into a higher-tech interface to handle our AP. We were still using a DOS system, as well as emails and scans, which, needless to say, caused a lot of confusion and delays in getting things processed and paid on-time. Additionally, the Bot is very helpful when submitting invoices for our company, allowing us to process more invoices efficiently and in a timely manner. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** I haven't encountered any major issues with Stampli so far. However, there are times when the bot is unable to read certain invoices and instead interprets something else, which we may need to review at a later time. **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is extremely easy to use, which has allowed us to process more invoices in a timely manner than we initially expected. The bot is one of Stampli's best features and is especially convenient for us, as our invoice volume can jump from 500 to 1,000 in no time. ### 50. Pricing is a bit steep for what we use, especially since we'd like to add more approvers but the cost to do that just doesn't make sense. And it is a bit cumbersome to add or change G/L accounts.
