It doesn’t have an agent that can push an asset’s hardware, warranty, and software information into Snipe-IT. There’s a company named Network Architeks that is currently trying to close that gap with a product named Snipe Agent. Google it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Snipe-IT?

I like its audit deadline setting, which allows you to meter the asset usage and audit it when the time comes to ensure that it's still in good condition and is still in compliance with our standards. I like the fact that it's a free and open source solution, and you can run it at no cost for unlimited assets and users, which is rare for ITAM tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Snipe-IT?

We have researched a lot and we came across Snipe-IT and we found that this is the best software currently in the market which made asset management so smooth and easier. And this also provides a barcode scanner and generates the label as well so that we can tag the assets perfectly. Also, the best part is that this is an open-source application and we can add on the features as well according to the organization's needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Snipe-IT is a very straightforward solution for asset management. It doesn't take much training to be able to manage as an administrator. I've used the Annual Hosted option, which is only $400 per year, so it's very cost-effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Snipe-IT?

Snipe-it seems to work well for us. For a time now, we have been considering asset management, but the complexity of existing systems keeps us from getting started. We got moving swiftly and easy with this one. It fits well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
