"Stable Decodo Proxies, Clean Dashboard, and Fast Live Chat Support"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I’ve been using Decodo (formerly Smartproxy) for about a month on the 3 IP Dedicated ISP plan, mainly for running ad account profiles and managing social media. So far, performance has been stable, and the proxies keep a consistent connection without major issues or frequent blocks.

The dashboard is clean and user-friendly, which made the initial setup straightforward even without much technical effort. I was able to integrate the proxies into my workflow smoothly and didn’t run into any compatibility problems.

Support is another highlight. I reached out via live chat to request an IP replacement, and it was handled within 3–5 minutes, which says a lot about how responsive and helpful they are.

Pricing also feels reasonable for dedicated ISP residential IPs. I’m on the 3 IP plan at $9.99/month, and given the stability and overall performance, it’s been good value for regular use.

I haven’t tried any AI-related features yet, so I can’t speak to that. That said, I do think the beginner documentation could be a bit more detailed for new users.

Overall, my experience has been positive. If you need stable ISP proxies for ongoing use—like ads or social media management—this has been a reliable option so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

One area that could be improved is the beginner documentation. For new users, a few of the setup steps would benefit from being explained in more detail, so it’s easier to get started without guessing. The pricing structure could also be clearer upfront, especially when trying to understand the different plans and their limits. Aside from those points, I haven’t run into any major issues so far. "Good value ISP proxies, performance improves after testing"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What I like most is the balance between price and performance. Compared with other ISP proxy providers, Decodo offers competitive pricing while still delivering good-quality IPs. Once you find stable IPs, the performance is consistently solid, with good speeds and relatively low block rates. I also appreciate how easy the platform is to use, and how straightforward it is to manage proxies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

One drawback is that not all IPs perform equally well right from the start, so it takes some time to test them and figure out which ones work best. This initial filtering can be a bit time-consuming, especially if you need consistent performance immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stable, Consistent Connections with an Easy-to-Use Dashboard"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What I liked most was how stable and consistent the connections were. For academic digital market research projects, it helped maintain consistent access when observing publicly available online data across different regions. the setup was straightforward and the dashboard is easy to navigate, so it didn't take long to get everything running Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

One thing I noticed is that the pricing could be slightly lower, especially for students or smaller academic projects. Also it would be helpful if there were a few more detailed guides or examples in the documentation for different research scenarios. That said, the overall reliability and performance have been solid, so it hasn't been a major issue for me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Session Control for Long Working Sessions"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Flexible Session Control. The ability to customize session duration (including setting it to 12 hours) gives you control that many other proxy providers don't offer. Great for long working sessions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Session Expiry Without Smooth Handover. When the 12-hour session expired, the proxy died completely rather than smoothly transitioning to a new IP. This caused a disruption to my work and logged me out of all my accounts. A smoother rotation or advance warning would be much better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Decodo Delivers Outstanding Support and Easy-to-Use Proxies"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Decodo has some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. Their AI assistant is very well trained and has helped me resolve numerous questions. For anything the AI couldn’t answer, I was transferred to a human agent within seconds. It has never taken longer than 30 seconds for me to reach human support, and they always seem to be available.

Decodo clearly puts the customer first. When I asked about getting a free extension on my subscription because I barely used it during the first month, they actually refunded the full amount for that month and let me renew for a whole month.

Their services are also very easy to use, and the API documentation is detailed and straightforward. Implementation was quick because I was able to use some of their code samples directly in my deployment. Decodo’s rotating datacenter proxies have integrated flawlessly into my projects, and setup is simple—just set port 10000 and they handle the rest. I also use Decodo’s proxies in my daily work with one of their static IPs, and it’s been great overall, with good ping and solid ease of use.

Decodo is overall a great value for money with their data and plan pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The only limitation I’ve personally run into is the limited range of available ports. That said, this feels completely reasonable, since almost every other proxy provider I’ve used has the same limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Proxy Service with High-Quality IP Reputation"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Their proxy service is easy to use and their high quality IP reputation. Lastly, not to mention that they are one of the few providers out there that allows bill per GB for ISP proxies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

While their proxy is easy to use, good and fast, their pricing plan is quite restrictive. For example, if you purchase the $3/month (1GB) plan, and you wish to top up for more bandwidth, you can only do it once. After that, you will be required to resubscribe to the plan, losing all unused bandwidth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Proxies That Just Work"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Decodo is very reliable and easy to work with. The proxy network is stable, fast, and consistent across regions, which is critical for web data extraction at scale. Setup is straightforward, the dashboard is clean, and integrations with common scraping tools work without much friction. I also like the flexibility across different proxy types and the clear usage metrics, which make it easier to monitor and control costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Some advanced configurations and edge-case troubleshooting could be documented better, especially for more complex scraping setups. Pricing can feel a bit high at scale, and clearer guidance on choosing the right product tier upfront would help avoid trial-and-error. That said, these are more refinement issues than blockers. "A fast and efficient mobile proxy"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I like how i am able to customize my mobile proxy, how i was able to change my location and sticky duration in my mobile proxy. I like they offered a pay-as-you-go plan because it allows me to evaluate on how much data i can spend in a period of time. I like how their chatbot can actually answer some of my concerns, it's not an automated bot to give generic replies. i also like that their customer support is willing to ask their it if its a deep issue, their staff actually give effort to a specific query when i was troubleshooting to get the proxy to work in my system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I think there's a lack of explanation on how the mobile proxy can be used, i wasn't aware of users in mobile proxy until i asked via customer support before purchasing. I think they should add more context on the difference on buying a pay as you go plan and a normal subscription data plan. And another feature is that the proxy is picky on the dns server you need to use. I had to configure a wireguard server that allows the proxy to get the proxy. "Reliable, well-documented proxy infrastructure with strong performance and support"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Decodo stands out for its ease of use and ease of implementation. The dashboard is intuitive, proxy credentials are simple to configure, and integration with existing tools is straightforward, requiring minimal setup. The platform offers a well-balanced number of features that cover most use cases without adding unnecessary complexity. Proxy performance is stable enough for frequent, daily use, and the clear documentation further simplifies deployment and maintenance. When support is needed, customer support is responsive and helpful, which adds confidence when scaling or troubleshooting integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

For lower-volume or experimental use, pricing can feel slightly high. While customer support is responsive and knowledgeable, advanced technical scenarios could benefit from more in-depth examples or implementation guides. Feature-wise, most needs are covered, but a few advanced configuration options could be more visible in the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Honest and very responsive customer service."
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Honestly, I really appreciate the quality of their customer support and the transparency of their billing policy. The team was very responsive. Their explanations were very clear, and I really liked their support. They also honored their 14-day money-back guarantee without any problems, as soon as the conditions were met. It's rare to find a provider of real estate agents who are so professional and honest with their clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The dashboard interface is very clean, but I would have liked to have diagnostic testing tools (such as a DNS leak test or fraud score) directly integrated into the client area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
