## Skillnet Reviews
  ### 1. SIM Emerging Leader Development Program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William W. | Managing Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Skillnet?**

Ease of use. The application is very intuitive and easy to use. We use the application in a training environment. The ability to do assessments and provide students access to required training content is seamless. The content management system is robust; easy to load and access training content. The application also provides the capability to create and grade quizzes. The reporting tools are also very robust. In addition, the Team at SkillNet is always available and quick to respond to any questions.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

I have not found any downsides in using SkillNet or working with their Team. The application fits our needs perfectly. I have no recommendations to make the product better.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The SIM ELD program required a flexible learning management system with the ability for student employees and their managers to do an skills assessment and then to provide just in time training.

  ### 2. SkillNet features and support have exceeded our expectations.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Skillnet?**

SkillNet provides an easy-to-use interface and a reliable way of tracking and reporting on Skill Data. The robust features of this program were vital to organizational goals, as it meets the requirements for human resource data as outlined in ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 13485:2016.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

SkillNet is a relatively new program and still has its occasional bugs to be worked out. On the same note, though, the support is impeccable. We receive speedy responses and solutions to reported bugs.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization recently implemented an ISO 13485:2016 certified Quality Management System. The requirements for training, documentation, and verification of training as outlined in the standard can be difficult to manage manually, but SkillNet put it all in one place.

As a growing, national organization, it also provides a single place for Operations to find and utilize the qualified skills needed to complete their work.

  ### 3. Great tool with an incredible ownership team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lydia R. | Vice President Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Skillnet?**

The ability to customize content for each person based on their assessments is phenomenal. The ownership and development team are motivated and great partners. We are leveraging Skillnet for a number of different purposes for our organization, and its flexibility is nice.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

I think the look and feel could use some improvement as well as the navigation. It is not entirely intuitive.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are offering a robust leadership development program on Skillnet that allows for a person-centered learning experience. We are also using it as a searchable library of resources for volunteers.

  ### 4. Employee skill development solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Skillnet?**

Skillnet is a great product for measuring and assessing the skill development needs of an employee population. It is user-friendly and customizable and allows users to take charge of their own learning plan.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

The initial set up can be time consuming in determining what skills should be included.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Measuring the success of our performance management system in terms of measurable outcomes. This was previously an area of opportunity for our company. Skillnet has been able to make our outcomes more quantifyable.

  ### 5. Skillnet was great to work with for our employee review process.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika B. | Associate Dean of Academic Affairs & Institutional Effectiveness, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Skillnet?**

The folks at Skillnet are real people - personable and attentive. They always reach out when they see something new we might need and helped us conduct an employee 360 review process.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

There is nothing I dislike about working with Skillnet. I sometimes don't have the time to fully utilize their platform and feedback system for my employees but that is not Skillnet's fault.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Skillnet is helping us train managers.

  ### 6. Partner, VP Advisory Services

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

Been working with SKillnet for several years and haven't found anything I dislike as of yet.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An online and off line tool for me to do my consulting work for clients about their people.

  ### 7. I have worked with SkillNet for candidate evaluations on specific skillsets

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler M. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Skillnet?**

I like that SkillNet provides evaluations on candidates skillsets. This is a valuable tool to vet people out and provide information to employers looking to hire.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

I dislike how slow the website runs. We have had situations where we needed to pull information and the platform was lagging behind and or very slow. Some of the reports also had glitches in the system.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SkillNet gives a snapshot picture into the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates that go through our program so we are properly able to vet them and put them in front of employers.

  ### 8. Good product!

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

UI can be a bit funky sometimes and isn't the most intuitive for those not used to using apps like this.

Creating student transcripts

The SkillNet team is fantastic. They listen to understand and then deliver an excellent product.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

Nothing to dislike. All my interactions with the SkillNet team have been terrific.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to measure and demonstrate learning for students in the Commonwealth Coders web development course. We worked with Mike and his team to develop a transcript that captures all learning modules and graphs measurable skills gains.

  ### 10. Great tool to dive deeper in understanding your skillset.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

The platform could better visually represent the results and the site could use visual refinement.

We are leveraging Skillnet in our leadership training program to help users identify their strengths and areas of improvement which they can then leverage tas they complete our program.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

The application could b more graphically pleasing

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing close rates which generate more review and profits for the firm

  ### 13. Use on the GO!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura C. | Teacher , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Skillnet?**

This program allowed the company to go live in a matter of a few weeks. We were able to crowd source some of the funding needed to get the company off of the ground because of this program. It was so each to use on the mobile device for all of the employees of the company. We were all on the same page when in came to going live with the new program. There were only a few questions from the users.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

THe thing that was least helpful was we needed more support than most companies because this is a start up non profit business. The people from the company were not always aware of our needs for the company. The online training was helpful but there were limited people to provide one on one support.

**Recommendations to others considering Skillnet:**

Make sure this is the right program for your company.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This useful software has helped our business to align to all have the same performance expectations for each of the employees and the results provide the employers with effective feedback needed to complete the changes that needed to be made in our company. The company benefits were that each person was more aware of what their job was and how each person contributes to the company. When the employees are aware of their job descriptions and work needed to complete they are more productive/ This program stream lined the process and we hope to use it again in the future.

  ### 14. Skillnet

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

Managers can quickly find areas that require improvement and visualize the whole picture and determine the necessary steps and tap the right employees to develop and address those areas.

**What do you dislike about Skillnet?**

Skillnet pricing is to high compared to other software databases.

**What problems is Skillnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employees need to improve or develop new skills – For instance, the IT industry is ever-changing, and it’s not rare for a new programming language to become prevalent. If your employees need to learn a new programming language, SkillNet lets you host the learning materials and streamline development plans to make the learning experience both time efficient, and easy.
