## SiteSpect Reviews
  ### 1. Fantastic CRO Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordy P. | CRO / Data Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2025

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

We’ve been working with SiteSpect for many years now and remain highly satisfied. It’s a powerful and versatile CRO tool that fits our needs perfectly. What truly sets SiteSpect apart is not only its robust functionality but also the exceptional support they provide.

Unlike many other A/B testing tools, we don’t experience any flickering or loading delays on our webpages when using SiteSpect — a major advantage for both the user experience and the reliability of our test results. The server-side approach enables lightning-fast and seamless experiments, even in complex implementations.

In short, SiteSpect is our ideal solution for conversion rate optimization: reliable, fast, and backed by a support team that’s always ready to help.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

While we’re very happy with SiteSpect overall, there are a few areas where there’s room for improvement. The user interface, for example, can feel a bit technical or less intuitive for beginners compared to some other platforms.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteSpect helps us solve several key challenges around experimentation and website optimization.

  ### 2. Great AB testing platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan . | Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2025

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

A lot of possibilities with testing server-side as well as client-side. Great support to guide you through all the options and capabilities of the tool. Statistically also very good

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

The amount of possibilities can be overwhelming for some users. Luckily, the support will help with this

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Sitespect we can overcome previous limiting factors such as max. amount of campaigns and data insights

  ### 3. My preferred AB testing tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2025

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

I have worked with SiteSpect for many years now and worked with multiple AB testing tools but always prefer SiteSpect. It is a powerful tool that can manage our complex tests and set ups. The customer service is also great. They are friendly and quick in their replies and proactively try to come up with solutions.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

If you are new in the AB testing market the tool might be complex to use. But you will get the hang of it quickly

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help us in making data driven decisions based on AB testing results

  ### 4. SiteSpect in one of my favorite pieces of software. Best technical support from any vendor.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregorio P. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

1. Exceedingly user friendly UX.
2. Best technical support ever.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

The number of features is more than anyone is able to dig in

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Determining what new features for our sites can improve conversion.

  ### 5. Frequent Sitespect User

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

The customer service is phenomenal. Our rep is always available and extremely knowledgeable. We currently use them to build our tests as well, and they are great.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Not much really. The interface looks a bit old, but that doesn't take away from usability.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a/b testing as much as possible. We have improved conversion, and saved some development effort by testing different solutions. More recently, we have lost internal dev resources for test building, and sitespect has been able to take over that functionality.

**Official Response from Nicole Hanson:**

> Thank you so much for this review, Bill! It's great to hear how SiteSpect is helping you identify drop-off points and optimize the customer journey.

  ### 6. Have not been able to get it fully integrated into our tech stack

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Feels like it is a pretty exhaustive testing tool, saw some capabilities but tough to unlock when integration limited our ability to fully utilize the tool/platform.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

We selected the tool thinking it would integrate well with our custom platform - unfortunately that has not been the case, we're having to consider alternatives.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ultimately we want to develop a test/learn, data-driven culture - SiteSpect was going to be a key piece of tech to help enable our organization to make data-driven, user-based decisions.

  ### 7. Great tooling and partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stein B. | Senior CRO specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

SiteSpect is a real partner to us. More than just a provider of a tool. For us that is really key, next to their awesome tooling which helped us boost our internal CRO process.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Not the most intuitive tool to start with. This will require some learning curve to figure out all the features the tool has. But once you're in you will be really happy with all that SiteSpect provides and the near endless possibilities for experimentation it brings.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteSpect has helped us in testing any thing from small copy changes to huge implementations and features, all built within the SiteSpect tool itself. Often there is no need for a direct implementation in our own code base, but things are built within SiteSpect, which really increases the speed we can test with.

  ### 8. A very powerful testing tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Paper & Forest Products | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2022

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Sitespect has very powerful tools that help make targeting specific users or pages for your tests.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Sitespect doesn't give you access to specific users, just general statistics for audiences.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sitespect helps us see what changes are truly making an impact and helps to see if hypotheses are true.

  ### 9. An exceptional platform with wonderful, responsive consultants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

I really like the reliability of my test results--because SiteSpect sits within a websites data layer, I know that I am getting clean, quality data with no interference. I am able to segment my data quickly and efficiently with very little effort. I am also able to easily export the raw datasets for more complex analyses.

In addition, my experience with the SiteSpect team is always wonderful. If there is something I want to do, but am unsure about how to approach it, I am always able to bring those concerns to my product consultant and dedicated developer and we are able to workshop my idea in the same day. Furthermore, I find that my concerns are always addressed, and my feedback on the tool is always taken seriously.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

I feel that the UX of the performance matrix needs some work. I only use the performance matrix to analyze my data because I like to see the behavior of all of my users within all of my variations without needing to hover. I rely heavily on all of the statistical output in the performance matrix, some of which is not available at a glance in results overview. Even when I do my daily test check in, I conduct extensive segmentation within the performance matrix. It really needs a facelift.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve all of my problems with SiteSpect. Where other tools our business utilizes is subject to extensive errors, SiteSpect is our only true source of data. Our testing team has been able to examine large-scale changes to our website--like the restructuring of our product detail pages-- and smaller scale changes like button positioning to effect our conversion rates (both macro and micro). We have also been able to push testing into the forefront of our business.

  ### 10. Highly Versatile and Granular

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex B. | Front-end Web Develloper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

The amount of granularity and customization. Our team is able to set up and roll out A/B tests with high specificity as to who we are targeting and what we are testing. SiteSpect offers the ability to set up a very large amount of metrics and filter our results to ensure that we can get the clearest picture of how our users are interacting with our site. They also offer a robust set of analytical tools such as graphs and charts to help us visualize the data. They are an account-driven company and they take the traditional approach to ensure we are satisfied with our use of the app. They even offer a set amount of consultation hours where they can help us analyze our data or suggest possible tests we can try.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

There is a relatively steep learning curve. It would have taken me a long time to figure out how to use it if I didn't have my teammates tell me how to use it. Their interface and onboarding certainly could use some work. Their app has two sidebars the user has to switch between in order to navigate to certain pages. It sometimes creates a guessing game as to what link is where. They would be better served using a single sidebar. Another recommendation I have is to clearly explain what each section is for and how it is used.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

Work with the support team and account representatives to help learn the program. It's very difficult to figure out on your own, so this is basically a requirement.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using SiteSpect allows us to test if proposed changes to our website will result in an easier user experience and higher profits.

  ### 11. SiteSpect helped up get better at Delivering Meaningful Content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rich B. | Chief Information Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

The ability to do multivariant testing via campaigns and know the impact of making content changes before we actually make the change. I also like that SiteSpect doesn't use a javascript tag so there is no content refresh or a page flicker.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

The metric calculations can be difficult to configure if you're unfamiliar with doing so. We had to enlist the help of the SiteSpect team but they were more than happy to walk us through the first few metrics we wanted setup.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

Test it out before your purchase. SiteSpect was willing to work with us and gave us a brief test window before we signed contract. We're very happy with the results we've gotten from SiteSpect.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't know how content changes were going to impact our customers. We've always tried changes on the site and then rolled them back if it "felt" like there was a negative impact on conversions. With SiteSpect we don't have to guess anymore, we can see the direct correlation between a change and conversation impact. We can test certain changes and if they result in great conversions against the control group once we reach a statistically relevant number of impressions, we're safe to know we can make these changes in our production environment and push them live.

  ### 12. Reliable testing tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devon L. | Sr Creative Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

The feature toggles are pulled in prior to page load so there is no flicker of the tested elements.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

It sometimes seems like the features are underdeveloped. Which leads to some not ideal experiences within the interface. They're good at requesting feedback, but there are some features that many people have been asking for for a long time and still have not been addressed.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

I always recommend using the code-based editor and not the visual editor. I've run into too many issues with that aspect and would prefer using the code-based version for reliability.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple testing tool that allows our company to validate features before they're released to the entire user group. This also limits the risk of new features by seeing the data on a small subset before it's everywhere.

  ### 13. Comprehensive technical experimentation platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea M. | Global Head of Experimentation and Analytics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Sensitively priced, great customer relationship and support, innovative mindset, business goal oriented

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

It requires a fairly technical team to use all the capabilities

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Experimentation server-side without cookies and feature flagging process/capability. Experimentation gives us a safety net to avoid big issues and allows you to learn everyday by at least 1%

  ### 14. Application delivery from an infrastructure /systems perspective through Sitespect is great

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lowell S. | Manager II, Systems Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Site settings are very granular. Admins can configure all sorts of custom headers, DNS records, load balancing, bypass conditions, etc.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Cookies can be large and surpass max-size header limits.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not sure. I do not handle the A-B testing and campaigns. I only support app delivery and client flows.

  ### 15. Powerful tool for A/B testing!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aybala K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

SiteSpect is a really powerful server-side A/B testing tool in which you can test pretty complex things and not only change the button colours. With SiteSpect we are able to run tests on both web and app, which is nice to have one platform for both.

Other than having a powerful tool, the people factor is also really important for such a collaboration and SiteSpect team is really competent on all levels, both technical and non-technical. They provide great support all the time.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

As it is mentioned in here before, the learning curve is a bit steep in the beginning. As a big organisation with all the product teams testing autonomously, it is a bit hard to onboard all the new users from different backgrounds (product owners, software developers, analysts etc.) and make them feel comfortable using SiteSpect.

Also, for topics that require support from the US product team, it takes some time to get an answer and get the ball rolling, but overall they are helpful.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteSpect helps us to make data-driven and informed product and design decisions with the help of A/B testing.

  ### 16. Sitespect does exactly what we hoped for & we get great support from the European team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michiel J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Sitespect was replacing Google optimize (which did not work at all with our Platform (Single page application). It worked. Not something that Optimize or any of the other tag based tools would have managed. Pricing was competetive plus in the monthly fee there are 8 hrs of service included. and when I say service that is exactly what we are getting at SiteSpect. According to SLA but also beyond!

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

You do need access to Frontend skills but. If you are serious about testing. You shoudln't mind.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowing if what we release is Great, Acceptable or Needs improvement. We have done close to a 100 tests now with an interesting succesrate. So the main problem Sitespect solves is: money in the bank and knwoing where to direct our resources.

  ### 17. Love this tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

It is a convenient tool for eCommerce sites. We are utilizing big time on our website.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

So far not found anything that troubles us!

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

It would be best to see their support and how easy this tool is to use and implement.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize it to test the optimization of the site.

  ### 18. Great tool and awesome support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juozas A. | Agile Product Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Abilities to make to make server side changes without flickering effects. On-premise deployment option. Really great support and mindset - SiteSpect is really willing and working on approach that they would do everything to make their customer happy and fulfill their needs. If you need help you can get it just in minutes time. As its server side tool capabilities for A/B testing are very wide. Its also possible to use SiteSpect for Apps testing and as well to use Engine API which allows you to build variation yourself and use SiteSpect just to show it for customers and make analyses.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

To get used to work with tool you need some extensive training and practice. Tool itself is more for users who understand code and have technical knowledge.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

If you are looking for A/B testing tool with wide capabilities, want to have no flickering effect, deploy it on-premise and make server side testing, you should definitely consider SiteSpect. What is more, they really offer great support and their approach is very friendly.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tool allows to experiment with WEB page design, layout, content and etc. A/B testing is a great way to prove ideas based on data, avoid disputes, because any idea that comes can be tested and validated. Its a good way to shift organization to data driven development approach and change mindset.

  ### 19. Able to perform A/B testing with 3rd parties

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Ability to test 3rd party recommendations as compared to Google Recommendations (which is maintained through the cloud centrally). Additionally able to track the performance of the A/B testing to see which outperforms - so as to save money.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

On rare occasions may load page and then reloads to perform test. This is not that big of an issue

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, performing A/B testing for 3rd party recommendations vs google recommendations to hopefully save company money in the end. The benefit is that is allows to track the performance of each test.

  ### 20. Excellent testing insights!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

The ability to easily test new features and CTAs on our website is critical in understanding how new initiatives impact our existing metrics and goals. We have gone from a business that rolls out new features and hopes for the best to one that gradually tests our way into new site changes so that we can rollout our solutions with confidence when ready, optimizing for our business metrics.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Limited number of tests that can run at a time.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing CTAs and new product features.

  ### 21. Makes A/B testing easy

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2020

Good support to help plan A/B testing experiments.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Set takes a little while, but not too bad.

  ### 22. SiteSpect works well for our organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael K. | Associate Data Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Does the job - A/B testing. Pretty straightforward and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Preview panel is buggy. We've identified data problems and SiteSpect has been unable/unwilling to fix. Not huge, but I feel like they can/should fix them. Specifically, users being assigned into multiple variations within a single campaign.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

eComm changes

  ### 23. Great product, better support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

SiteSpect has all of the technical capabilities we need, and when we can't figure out something the support team is always extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Some features can be complicated to learn and it may take some time to fully grasp how the platform works.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

Use the support team. You can almost definitely do everything you want to with the platform, it's just a matter of figuring out the right way to do it.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A/B testing, full-funnel KPI tracking. We're able to granularly track every aspect of a site change and it's impact on all of our important metrics.

  ### 24. Very Powerful platform for running tests. UI-UX could be improved but once understood, it's great

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

ease of tests implementation and split url testing.
Very powerful and flexible. With minimal extra development time, you are allowed to deploy almost any experiment you want.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

UI and UX are not the best on the market.
Some of the naming convention used is quite hard to grasp if you don't thoroughly read the documentation.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

great platform for server side testing, only needs technical expertise (full stack engineers) to set up but once done, it's great.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying frictionless experiments. Less integration time for merging tests to live.

  ### 25. Nice tool for setting up complex tests

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

It just works. Setting up tests is easy, getting to the results is extremely simple. Anyone can use it, even without development experience.

One of our most important requirements was no flicker. It performs great and you can run tests without breaking your customer experience.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Getting the system setup was a bit hard, but I have to say we were greatly supported by their team. It was hard because it's not the pure SaaS, they need to wire things up in the background.

Run a pilot, and before starting have a clear set of tests you want to run that are representative of the types of tests you want to run in the future.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 30. On of the best A/B-Testing-Tools out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

In house hosting ability is a huge plus for us, as it makes it transparent for the user and theres no "flashing" as it's not javascript based. Stats/Analytics are great and very detailed and every researcher will love these. Very powerful when using regex. You can basically change anything in your sourcecode. Excellent customer support with very fast reaction times and always helpful solutions. The staff are all very friendly, likeable and very easy to talk to as we got know each other at one of their events. They listen to tips from their customers and try to make the tool better with every release.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

It has a quite steep learning curve but it's well worth the effort. Error messages could be a bit more detailed sometimes. For some tests you need the support of developers.

AB testing to improve SIte experience and conversation. We have had quite a few really good test so we are implementing the learning.s

SiteSpect offers a yearly Customer Advisory Board which is great to communicate and to exchange ideas with other clients using SiteSpect.

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Almost limitless configurations and a very performant way of manipulation changes.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Sometimes too complex. No "best-practices" from Sitespect.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

Sitespect is very powerful and has a steep learning curve. In the beginning it's hard but you can achieve almost everything you want to do.

It could have easier and simpler setup for patches and tests.

We solve user struggles and have been able to deliver solutions to business needs.

  ### 37. Under the hood, extreme power, but UX wise, much work to be done

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

The endless possibilities in terms of configuration, the knowledge of support staff

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

The naming convention for navigation.
The UX isn't intuitive, the learning curve is seemingly quite steep for a 'part-time' developer like me

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Server side is really beneficial. Zero page flash.
On the business side, paying a flat rate instead of per page impression makes much more sense. The redirect testing has also been more reliable for us

  ### 38. Great Tool for conducting organization wide AB Tests

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arjun B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

- Trustworthy analytics

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

- Traffic re-routing without heads up
- Not easy to change testing clusters after initial set up

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use SiteSpect primarily for testing features & ideas for our Ecommerce business. Being the first AB Testing tool for my organization, SiteSpect has done a great job in changing a 'gut feeling organizational mindset' to a very 'data based customer centric mindset'.

  ### 39. Best CX optimisation tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corné H. | Director of Marketing , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

That it is a server based tool. In that way we are very flexible to opimise the online customer experience

For more advanced tests you need to have more skills compared to other tools but the support from Sitespect is very good so it isn't a deal breaker.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conversion optimisation
Some quick UX issues

  ### 40. Featureful testing tool with control over your data and great support!

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

The interface could be more user freindly and intuitive.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a testing tool that gives us the full control of the data. Serveside testing makes testing fast and seamless for our users.

  ### 41. SiteSpect review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

That it integrates well with our system.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

that it sometimes throws off some of our CSS and needs to be rewritten

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

I don't have any specifically

We use it for A/B testing so it helps us to evaluate some of our weak areas.

  ### 42. A great business solution, unfortunately wasn't ready to commit at the time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Management of concurrent/conflicting tests a

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

From a demo point of view, the downside was that the UI felt out of date compared to the competitors. It might function better but it didn't look visually appealing navigating through the platform.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It would have allowed us to test some of our hypotheses about user flows which would have been nice. The biggest benefit would have been being able to execute these tests without slowing the site down

  ### 43. SiteSpect customer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Great company to partner with. We use their server side integration and it has allowed us great flexibility.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Support turnaround time. If we do not pay into the extra support system, it either takes a while for dev support or we have to shell out cash. Tough spot to be in when you're in retail during this time right now.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

n/a

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving customer experience issues and have benefited incremental revenue lift.

  ### 44. Dedicated Team for Analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Our dedicated team is the most helpful aspect. Additionally, the new feature for segmentation, and smoothing has been helping us tremendously.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

The website's inflexibility to move cells around so it's comprehensive for our goals per test.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Each test is valuable for us, and help us problem solve.

  ### 45. IT DOES THE JOB BUT ITS EXPENSIVE

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2017

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Automation layout is decent but you need a dev team

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

Ease of use, its not for everyone. You need a dev team to operate. Lots of coding

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

Go with VWO

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While using it I realized how hard it is to operate

  ### 46. Powerful Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily H. | Digital Marketing Manager, Food & Beverages, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2014

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Ok, so it's been a few years since I've used SiteSpect, but when I did, the team was awesome! Everyone I worked with there was diligent, smart and personable. The tool itself was extremely powerful.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

It was extremely complex to implement. We needed developers who not only knew HTML, CSS and JS, but also regular expressions. We didn't have anyone on our team who was strong with regular expressions, so we utilized SiteSpect's team for that.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

Like I said, I haven't used it in a couple of years, but when you're considering SiteSpect, I recommend having your key developers included in all meetings with sales, etc. so they can ask intelligent questions about how the tool works so you can get an idea of what resources are needed to fully utilize this tool. It really is great, and the team at SiteSpect is great, but just do your homework :-)

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had no idea what to expect; just that we wanted to gain some insight into what clicked with users.

  ### 47. SiteSpect

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveen V. | Director, Analytics and Optimization, Facilities Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2014

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Note: I haven't used sitespect in 2 years. So, I might not be up-to date.
I like the part that it is not dependent on client side JavaScript injection. It is very easy to run tests once the initial hardware setup is complete. Their professional service team was very good at responding to questions and finding creative solution to complex tests.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

I think the only downside is the time to get the initial test running. The setup took a while with the hardware requirements. Other solutions provided easy setup and faster implementation especially if you have tag managers on the site. I dont know whether sitespect has a new client side JS solution now.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

Adobe Test&Target and Optimizely are other solutions, but given a choice, I will definitely pick SiteSpect.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This allowed us to conducts A/B and MVT tests at a faster pace and helped us decide what works and what doesn't before we rolled out any changes massively to the site. The segmentation provided us a better overview of what worked for who and what didn't work and could easily tweak the changes based on specific segments.

  ### 48. Good testing tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry W. | Digital Marketing Manager, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2014

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

We like the way SiteSpect allowed us to test just about anything on our site - even dynamically generated pages, which meant we could test on a one-to-one ratio - very useful for us and what we were testing.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

For non-technical folks, this is not the easiest tool to use. Without in-house technical staff, the learning curve here will be steep.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

Good tool for multivariate testing, but make sure you have technical folks on-staff to help with implementation/administration.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing different images, landing pages, buttons, text, etc. - very powerful to let you test multiple different presentations.

  ### 49. Past user of SiteSpect

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2014

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

The ability to track custom goals and conversions and the full range of analytics and results presented. The ability to test pretty much anything and everything, including multi-page and multi-variate testing. The customer support was really great and the team was always helpful.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

It's definitely not as "WYSIWYG" as other A/B testing platforms, and to really get full use out if, you really need to know a bit of code, specifically RegEx. For those that don't, the customer support is great, but to help with the building of campaigns you run in to added costs

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

For larger sites, I would definitely recommend SiteSpect. The costs may be higher than others, but the tool itself is worth the expense for serious testers.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No longer a current user, we were using SiteSpect as our primary testing tool for several e-commerce web sites as well as PPC landing pages. Through A/B testing with the platform, we gained knowledge of what worked well with out product campaigns.

  ### 50. Love it, recommend it as a Sitespect expert, helping businesses reap rewards.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George I. | Director, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2014

**What do you like best about SiteSpect?**

Speed of testing and complexity of non intrusive testing. Allows us to really help clients with digital growth and insight.

**What do you dislike about SiteSpect?**

I'm happy with SiteSpect and I can't find anything I dislike enough to list.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteSpect:**

It's a unique approach and if your taking testing seriously and wish to roll it out culturally to the business, it's the only tool that will allow agility, speed and scalability. Also one of the only tools that doesn't impact performance or make you rely on their own staff to create tests.

**What problems is SiteSpect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test and learn, optimisation. Speed to make changes to design and development without using developers at the core. Benefits include revenue uplift and plenty of insight
