Most sales tools tell you who to call, but Similarweb tells you why to call them today. Users love how the Insights Generator surfaces specific digital signals—like a prospect’s sudden drop in organic traffic or an aggressive push into a new ad channel. It allows reps to lead with a "problem" the prospect might not even have fully diagnosed yet. The UI is also easy to use and has plenty of integration options!

**What do you dislike about Similarweb Sales Intelligence?**

While Similarweb is the gold standard for enterprise and high-traffic sites, it can struggle with precision for smaller websites or very niche B2B players.  

The Issue: Because the data is based on panel-based estimation and public signals, small sites may show "N/A" for certain metrics or have a higher margin of error compared to what you’d see in their actual Google Analytics.

Pricing can also be a bit high.

The most helpful thing about Similarweb is the ease of use. It is very helpful not to have to spend extra time on it, since it is available in the Chrome Extensions tab along with my other Tech stack. This makes using it multiple times in a day that much easier. I also really like the different data points that compare metrics I am looking at. The time saved using this tool is very appreciated.

The data on the AI industry helps me quickly benchmark whether a prospect is an early adopter or a leader in the space. This context is vital for me to understand the technical complexity of a deal and the likely scale of its infrastructure needs. These insights have sharpened my pre-call research by showing me exactly how AI is shifting a prospect's traditional marketing mix. Instead of just seeing raw traffic, I can now see the "why" behind their numbers, allowing me to tailor my value proposition to their specific market challenges.

**What do you dislike about Similarweb Sales Intelligence?**

I think the free weekly usage limit is sometimes just too low. If you want people to use your tooling, at least make the free version 5 sites/day instead of 3. I know it is weekly, but it would be nice to use it more than that. The only other complaint is that sometimes the monthly traffic metrics differ from those on other analytic pages; it would be nice to know the differences or, at a minimum, the margin of error for some of the reports.

Similarweb easy up the life of an lead prospector. I started my experience with similarweb and the number of features that were oferred were numerous and very helpfull from intregation to implementation. I was using it very fequently to find websites and apps by category and by country. The data provided by this tool is really accurate from searching people to companies to websites to apps to images.

**What do you dislike about Similarweb Sales Intelligence?**

As we know similarweb is not complete like any other tool or platform there are always gaps. Scalability and Performance could be better. While similarweb may cater well to small to medium-sized teams, other platforms may offer superior scalability and performance, capable of supporting larger teams, handling massive datasets, and delivering high-speed processing and response times. Also sometimes there are bugs that blocks you from entering to the website which I never experienced in other websites before.

It is solving my problem to find leads. It easy up my life. I like similarweb because it is an efficient tool with great data accuracy. I use Similar Web Chrome extension everyday in my sales role as AE. I use similar web insights to identify high quality leads, web traffic and organize my book of business to make sure I'm prioritizing high traffic accounts and scheduling my day accordingly. I definitely recommend SW as a single source of truth and huge asset in my day to day prospecting! My company recently upgraded to SimilarWeb Pro which gives you access to so much data on websites: monthly revenue, trends, and even finding accounts that are specifically not in Salesforce. This has been so helpful for building out my book of business.

Sometimes the tab doesnt work to show insights on a website, but if you hover over the SW extension then it will always still show you the Similar Web ranking.

What I love about Similarweb Sales Intelligence tool is it's ability to keep up with the changing digital landscape. Being a solution made for Web first businesses, it's imperative we keep track of their digital footprint month over month and Similarweb provides me just that. The cherry on top is their world class support team. Now with the addition of the contacts information I don't have to use multiple tools for my research. It does everything for the Sales team for their research. It's such an intuituve easy to use tool which doesn't need a scientist to sift through data. It's made for Salespeople who want to quickly research their accounts before their discovery call and come across as informed.

I am not happy about the fact that similar insights don't exist for apps as we're also focused on app first clients.

Similarweb allows you to actually make realtime comparissions between websites and provides updated data and an extremely efficient way of displaying those data. Mostly i dont even need to process the data I can straight away take a screenshot or display it directly. It is also extremely easy to utilize the functions on the website once you know what they do.

One point I think can be improved is their ease of navigating the website, due to numerous features offered by Similarweb it can get a bit confusing at times, probably some sort of AI assistant would be of great help.

This product is fantastic, makes is super easy to filter based on a number of attributes and create an ICP list to go after. The contact data is good for APAC too. A big step up from Similartech which is what we were previously using.

The SimilarWeb platform is incredibly easy to use, with a well-thought-out UX. The functionality is great, and they provide website data that other platforms simply don't have. When website data points are integral to qualifying prospects, this tool is perfect. 
They are also constantly improving the functionality of their platform, meaning additional value for money.

As with most data platforms, contact data always has some level of inaccuracy, but seems like this is getting better.

The ability to filter via SIC or NAICS codes would also be helpful.

It has a comprehensive overview of web traffic for the many different sites I need to review. It is easy to find what I am looking for and the customer support has also been responsive whenever I need it. 

I don't think our organization uses the API, however, the fact that it is available is a nice feature and would make integration easy.

The thing I dislike is that sometimes the numbers for Similarweb differ from other data aggregation sources. This just makes it difficult for me to trust the numbers in some, albeit rare, cases.

**What do you like best about Similarweb Sales Intelligence?**

The most helpful thing about Similarweb is its easy use dashboard and reporting functions. No matter the reason for going the experience is seamless and very well thought out from a UX perspective.

**What do you dislike about Similarweb Sales Intelligence?**

Nothing to note on what I dislike about SimilarWeb other than wanting to see a few more features.

I primarily use SimilarWeb to look into clients further to understand how I can add value and/ or to look at what competitors are doing to carve out USPs

The platform is easy to navigate and understand. Quick learning curve. We implemented the use within our team of 7 in a matter of days. Their customer support is top-tier and I often get a response to my questions within a matter of hours.

**What do you dislike about Similarweb Sales Intelligence?**

Missing Revenue & GMV insights, or insights aren't dialed in

**What problems is Similarweb Sales Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the platform often for insights into Keywords. Knowing what keywords a site is currently ranking for helps me create SEO-optimized pages for organic searches.
