## About Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager
Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM) enables enterprises to remove admin rights without impacting productivity on Windows, Mac, and Linux endpoints. Securden EPM helps elevate applications for standard users and grant admin rights on a Just-in-Time (JIT) basis, eliminating standing privileges while ensuring users can run required applications without friction. Organizations can enforce application control using allowlisting and blocklisting to prevent unauthorized or risky software execution while enabling secure operations. The solution supports on-demand application elevation and policy-based granular application elevation control, allowing security teams to define exactly which apps can run with elevated rights and under what conditions. Privilege management continues even on offline endpoints, ensuring protection for remote and traveling users. Built-in JIT local admin rights reduce risk by granting temporary elevation only when required. Additional capabilities include application usage tracking for better policy decisions, continuous local administrator group monitoring to prevent privilege creep, and secure remote access for IT helpdesk teams to troubleshoot systems without exposing credentials. Securden EPM also helps organizations meet compliance requirements such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and NERC-CIP. With a highly scalable architecture and a wide array of integrations, the platform delivers enterprise-grade endpoint privilege management while maintaining operational efficiency and user productivity.

## Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager Reviews
  ### 1. Clean, Professional Interface That Makes Removing Local Admin Rights Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager?**

Overall, it has worked well for us. The interface and pop-ups are clean and professional, and the experience feels straightforward. It has helped us remove local admin rights for users while still giving them options to request an app or get access as needed.

**What do you dislike about Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager?**

Deployment had some hiccups, but we were able to work through them. Also, recently, there was an updated that disabled about 20% of the agent. Apparently, Securden was aware of the issue and we were not advised. Also, the "fix" was a script that did not work. Even after a support ticket / call. Luckily, it was only 20% of our devices, but it was frustrating.

**What problems is Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has worked well for removing local admin permissions from users while still allowing them to request access when needed. It has also integrated fairly smoothly with our Freshservice ticketing system, which helps streamline the request and approval process even further. The price is reasonable, and it doesn’t include a lot of extra features that we don’t want or need. There is a slight delay between submitting a request and seeing the approval process reflected in Freshservice (about 5–10 minutes), but that seems reasonable given the coordination between the systems.

  ### 2. Powerful Privilege Management with Customizable Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager?**

I find Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager incredibly valuable due to its ease of use when editing settings, policies, and configurations, which simplifies my workflow significantly. The product's feature of allowing specific users to elevate applications for their job functions, complemented by automatic approval policies and comprehensive reporting, enhances both functionality and security in our operations. Additionally, the fact that there are no local admins in our environment is a huge advantage in maintaining secure systems. I also appreciate the ability to blacklist applications, which adds an extra layer of security. The support team is excellent, as they are responsive to our needs and efficiently incorporate requested features in subsequent updates. Overall, the initial setup was straightforward with the SCIM configuration supporting user provisioning, which is critical for integration with our environment.

**What do you dislike about Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager?**

Our company is continually developing new features to be added.

**What problems is Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager to ensure no local admins in our environment, streamline user privilege elevation, automate approval policies, and ease the editing of settings and configurations.

  ### 3. Efficient Privilege Management, Needs Better APAC Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernard C. | Chief Information Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager?**

I like that Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager is easy to use. It's simple for end users to request access, and it's straightforward for admins to train others on it. The clean and efficient interface makes it easy to understand with minimal training. The product is good overall, and it's reasonably cost-effective. I also appreciate that setting it up was fairly easy with their online documentation.

**What do you dislike about Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager?**

The APAC support should be improved. They don't have much support in the APAC region.

**What problems is Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager lets us provide limited time admin rights effectively for users who need them, without granting full admin access.

  ### 4. Securden Windows Privilege Manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob V. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager?**

We have been utilizing and implementing Securden over the past year and this product has provided us with a way to allow our end users to run programs and features with administrative credentials without being a full blown administrator on the machine. This has been a great way to minimize the security risk in our environment.

**What do you dislike about Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager?**

Overall we have enjoyed our support and using the product has been a breeze. At this time I have not run into anything negative with the product.

**What problems is Securden Endpoint Privilege Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has allowed us to eliminate the use for Virtual machines in our production environment saving us not only money but also man power time it takes to create essentially two computers on one device.
