"A powerful low-code tool for rapid automation and development in the SAP ecosystem"
What do you like best about SAP Build?

What I like most is the ability to rapidly prototype and create enterprise applications without the need for deep programming. As a systems analyst, I appreciate the visual drag-and-drop interface, which makes it easy to model business processes and user interfaces. A key advantage is the native and seamless integration with other SAP products like S/4HANA. This significantly reduces development time and empowers business users (citizen developers) to create simple applications and automate routine tasks on their own, reducing the load on the IT department. What do you dislike about SAP Build?

Although it's a low-code platform, the learning curve for complex scenarios can be quite steep. Configuring specific integrations and working with the BTP (Business Technology Platform) environment require certain technical knowledge, and the documentation doesn't always cover all the nuances. Also, for implementing complex custom logic that goes beyond the standard components, the platform's capabilities are limited, and you still need to involve professional developers. "Quick App Building, but menus can be overwhelming"
What do you like best about SAP Build?

I can easily build my apps in a short amount of time and have a lot of building blocks that are available and also easy to use for beginners. The deep dive into SAP Build is also very easy and I am able to perform what I want to do in a small amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Build?

Sometimes there are too many options and menus nested underneath each other which can become quite frustrating after some time. Also having many tabs open at the same time is quite common and often necessary which I also do not particularly like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My SAP Build Experience"
What do you like best about SAP Build?

What I enjoy most about SAP Build is how quickly I can turn an idea into something functional without waiting on long development cycles. I like that I can drag and drop components, connect them with data from our SAP systems, and actually see the process come to life in a matter of hours instead of weeks. It is satisfying to show colleagues a working prototype instead of just explaining a concept on slides. The fact that it integrates so easily with the SAP environment we already use makes it even more practical because I do not have to juggle multiple tools or worry about data getting lost between platforms. It gives me a sense of control and speed in projects that I didn’t have before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Build?

The downside is that once you go beyond the basics, the platform can feel restrictive. Sometimes I want to fine tune a workflow or add extra layers of detail, but the options are limited unless I pull in more technical help. Performance can also slow down when working on bigger projects, which breaks the flow and forces me to pause when I am in the middle of building. I also wish the learning resources were more practical. There are guides, but they do not always match real-world use cases, and that leaves me experimenting on my own to figure out what works. It is not a dealbreaker, but it does make the learning curve bumpier than it needs to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive platform that simplifies application building"
What do you like best about SAP Build?

SAP Build offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows both technical and non-technical users to create applications quickly. The drag-and-drop features make the development process smooth, while the seamless integration with other SAP solutions saves a lot of time. It is also highly flexible, making it easy to adapt solutions to business requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Build?

While SAP Build is powerful, the learning curve for advanced customizations can be challenging. Performance can sometimes slow down with larger projects, and integration with non-SAP systems could be more straightforward. Additionally, more built-in templates and preconfigured components would make the initial setup even faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers App Creation Without Coding, Seamless SAP Integration"
What do you like best about SAP Build?

I like that SAP Build lets me create apps and workflows without needing deep coding skills. The drag-and-drop interface is easy to work with once you get used to it, and the integration with other SAP systems makes the whole process smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Build?

What I dislike about SAP Build is that some parts still feel a bit limited, especially when you want more advanced customization. The interface can be slightly confusing in the beginning, and certain actions take more steps than expected. It’s a great tool overall, but a bit more flexibility and smoother performance would make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful Low-Code Platform with Room to Grow"
What do you like best about SAP Build?

What I appreciate most about SAP Build is its ability to empower both technical and non-technical users to quickly develop applications, automate workflows, and design user-friendly interfaces without requiring extensive coding knowledge. The platform's drag-and-drop functionality, seamless integration with the SAP ecosystem, and the ease of rapidly prototyping ideas all contribute to making it a strong tool for driving digital transformation efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Build?

While SAP Build is an excellent tool for low-code development, I sometimes find it limiting when I require more customization or need to implement complex logic. Its performance can lag when handling large datasets, and I feel the documentation for advanced scenarios could be more comprehensive. Enhanced debugging features and stronger integration with non-SAP systems would further increase its robustness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Innovation and Efficiency with Low-Code Tools"
What do you like best about SAP Build?

SAP Build offers several advantages, such as greater agility and innovation, enhanced efficiency, lower development costs, and improved collaboration. By enabling users to create applications, automate workflows, and develop business sites using low-code tools, it streamlines processes and supports more effective teamwork. What do you dislike about SAP Build?

The platform currently only supports web app development, lacking the ability to generate native iOS or Android applications. Additionally, there is a steep learning curve for users who are not already familiar with the platform, and integrating it with existing systems that are not part of the SAP ecosystem can be challenging.
