**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

Being able to provision and manage employee accounts for other softwares inside of Rippling is a lifesaver. That way I just have to update and employee's data once and it "ripples" out to the other softwares they're connected to. I also use RPass and love using it for password saving and sharing. Takes a bit of time to get set up, but once you're in, you're golden.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Almost everything in Rippling is customizable for what you need, but there are a few things that can't be altered, specifically RPass. It does make sense for security purposes, I just wish there was a bit more meat to it.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes hiring and updating employees a breeze. Instead of spending an hour setting up a new employee to all of our softwares, I just do it once in Rippling!

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

We were having issues ordering, tracking, managing, configuring and then retrieving devices for our teams as we were scaling. We do not have an IT admin and as the Recruiting Lead, I was feeling overwhelmed. We were also under the constant threat of scam and fraud. All onboarding and access configuration was also manual. We adopted Rippling IT and now we simply order and ship devices from within the platform and are able to reset password, unlock devices, have an IAM solution and even retrieve or reassign devices using the Rippling IT product.
It has made it simple for me as a non technical IT Admin to automate a lot of the process and manage it seamlessly.

We also started using Rpass, their product for password vaulting and that has also created consistency across teams and it is cheaper than other competitive password managers

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Nothing at all! We love it.. we are already using their HR product and this had made it a seamless journey for our employees without entering additional data

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- It is saving us time by picking up new hire information for us from the HR product to order devices and configure access according to the defined policy for their role
- It is an IAM solution to keep the organization secure and we do not need to worry about threats of scam/fraud
- Their password manager is included in the IT suite and it is great alternative to other products and is saving us $$
- With their MDM, we can now update devices and manage them remotely. The visibility is great to save time for password resets and unlocking devices

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

In my role as a senior data analyst in a startup setup, what impresses me most about Rippling IT is that it takes a holistic platform approach, where device life cycle management, access management, and employee onboarding and offboarding are done in one place. This is particularly important in a rapidly scaling business setup, where efficiency and governance have to go hand in hand. The major benefit is that there is centralized IT administration with extensive automation. Capabilities such as automated provisioning, real-time visibility into devices and apps, and access control based on policies make a huge difference in terms of efficiency, security, and scalability. For startups, it means that employees can be onboarded quickly, and IT administration, as well as data security, are accomplished without requiring a large IT staff.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

One possible con is that the extensive set of features offered by Rippling IT may sometimes appear complex to set up, particularly in smaller teams that do not have in-house IT experts. Furthermore, advanced customization or reporting integration may also need additional setup or technical work. Although the tool is very capable, it may become even more efficient for a fast-growing startup environment if some analytics flexibility and certain workflow processes could be improved.

Rippling IT mainly addresses the issue of fragmented IT and employee management by integrating device management, access, app, and onboarding processes into one system. I think Rippling is very powerful, but it can feel a bit overwhelming at first because of how many features and settings it has. It sometimes takes time to learn where everything is. Once you get used to it, though, it becomes very efficient.

As an end user, Rippling IT made onboarding completely seamless. From day one, SSO, device access, and app provisioning were all ready to go: no waiting on IT, no hunting down credentials, no confusion. Everything just worked. The fact that identity management, MDM, and access governance are all unified in one place means you're never bouncing between tools or wondering if something was set up correctly. It's the kind of infrastructure you appreciate most by the friction that no longer exists.

Genuinely nothing significant. As an end user, the experience has been consistently smooth. The platform is feature-rich enough that you occasionally sense there's a lot happening under the hood, but from a day-to-day usage standpoint, that complexity never surfaces in a way that creates friction.

The best part is the Single Sign-On (SSO) and the automated app provisioning. When I started, all my accounts like Slack and Zoom were already set up. I love having one dashboard where I can launch all my work tools without needing to remember ten different passwords or wait for IT to grant me access manually.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

The "Rippling Agent" on my laptop can be a little sensitive with security prompts occasionally. Sometimes it requires a re-authentication at inconvenient times to ensure the device is compliant. Also, the notification system for mandatory software updates can be quite persistent until you actually run the update.

It solves the "Day 1" friction of starting a new role or getting a new device. Instead of spending hours in IT tickets, my hardware and software were ready to go immediately. Zero-Touch" Device Logistics: Rippling completely removes the headache of managing physical laptops. When HR hires a new remote employee, Rippling can automatically order a computer, configure it with the right security policies, and ship it directly to their house. They even offer warehousing services to store, wipe, and redistribute devices when people leave.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Sometimes I generate an answer and you might wonder why I chose those specific words. I wish I could more easily show you my "thought process" in real-time (though I'm getting better at that!) so you could see the logic behind my suggestions.

Traditionally, an IT person has to manually create accounts for Slack, email, and Jira, and then ship a laptop. Rippling automates this. When HR clicks "Hire," the laptop is ordered and the accounts are created instantly based on the new hire's role.

That said, Rippling’s support team has been excellent to work with. **What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

Honestly, the best thing about Rippling is that it just makes all the annoying work stuff not annoying. I’m in it pretty much every weekday, and it’s kind of become the hub for everything I need. Need to check PTO? Two clicks. Request time off? Done. Payroll info? Right there. I don’t have to ask HR or dig through old emails — it’s all in one spot. I also love that whenever IT adds a new app or I have to log into something, Rippling already has it set up. The single sign-on saves me from remembering yet another password, which is a win in my book.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

If I had to pick a downside, it’s that sometimes things feel a little too spread out. Everything is technically in one place, but a few settings or forms are buried deeper than they need to be, so I end up clicking around trying to remember where something lives. The app is also hit-or-miss (great when it works), but occasionally it’s slow to load or just not as smooth as the desktop version. Not a deal-breaker, just mildly annoying when I’m trying to check something quickly on my phone.

The biggest win for me is payroll. On the rare chance something’s delayed or looks off, I can contact support through Rippling right away — and of course, when it comes to money, getting quick answers matters. It’s reassuring that I don’t have to chase down HR or guess who to email; the help is already built into the platform.

I find Rippling extremely useful because of its simplicity and ease of use. The interface is very intuitive, so tasks like approving leave or checking the company calendar are quick and hassle-free. I also really like how easily administrative access can be granted just one click, and access is enabled within seconds. This saves a lot of time and removes the need to depend on IT.
The secret store is also a great feature for securely sharing information within the team. Even the initial setup of Rippling was smooth and took hardly five minutes.
Overall, these features make my day-to-day work much easier, and Rippling has become an essential tool for me.

I do face some challenges with the mobile app, as it doesn’t offer all the features that are available on the web version. Navigating to the calendar on mobile can also feel a bit cumbersome at times.

I primarily use Rippling for device management and calendar-related tasks, and it has really streamlined my daily workflow. It cuts down the need for admin support and makes approvals and leave tracking much easier to manage. We are currently in the implementation phase with Rippling, and while the majority of our employees haven't migrated over yet, the backend impact is already clear. Previously, I was the only one managing Identity and Access Management (IAM), and through a tedious, manual spreadsheet system.

Based on our setup so far, I estimate that Rippling will save me at least 5 hours per week just by automating these workflows. The implementation team has been fantastic—the reps are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely enthusiastic, making the onboarding process feel like a partnership rather than a chore. I’m looking forward to the full rollout.

We have not experienced any downsides yet, I'm sure we will run into some type of frustration at some point, but I have more confidence in Rippling support to resolve these, than many of our other systems' support channels.

I work at a nonprofit, and we use RPass to share passwords for different application portals and websites. 
Rippling is easy to use it allows us to securely share passwords with other staff members. This is really helpful, especially when you're managing multiple passwords. I use RPass almost on a daily basis, and it saves a lot of time and saves me the headache of having to find a way to manage the passwords on my own.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

The only real challenge I face using RPass is that the password manager does not seem to differentiate well between different portals that are hosted on the same platform. For example, if three organizations have portals hosted by the same platform, I can save the different passwords on RPass, but RPass will not know which one is the correct one to utilize, so it often plugs in the incorrect login.

The system is very intuitive and you can get to the data/information you need with very few clicks. All of the data/information is right where you would expect it to be.

Rippling could make the Recruiting platform, specifically reviewing resumes more user friendly by allowing the reviewer to see a snapshot of the resume without downloading it. This just adds additional time in the process for the reviewer.

We had a very clunky and expensive system previously with Workday. Rippling is significantly more cost effective and solves all the problems we had in our old system. Rippling has been extremely user-friendly for both myself and my team. I especially appreciate that RPass is integrated, as it allows everyone in the company to securely store both personal and company passwords. Rippling support is fantastic and are always available to help with issues I have, especially when working with custom integrations and connections to other tools. We use Rippling every day and it has become a bedrock of our IT infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

As an all-in-one system, I have noticed that Rippling sometimes lacks certain features that are available in other leading platforms. While they are making efforts to enhance the system and introduce new features, progress can be slower simply because of the extensive functionality already built into the platform.

I like how interconnected I can set up my Rippling IT to our Microsoft 365 extensions. As an HR leader of the organization, I needed our IT to be linked and to make as much automation as I could to save time. Rippling IT links to our Microsoft account so that onboarding, offboarding, calendar sharing, scheduling, and communication are linked together. Being able to work right in Rippling to make changes has been a nice feature.

I have not ran into an issue yet. So far so good.

The manner that all of the apps are well-organised and easily incorporated into Rippling is what I adore most about it.  I don't have to constantly remember passwords thanks to this and the Single Sign-On feature, which makes them easily accessible.  In order to ensure that we achieve all deadlines, Rippling also notifies us of pending chores.  It is simple to use and implement at work because to these qualities.  The manner that all of the apps are well-organised and easily incorporated into Rippling is what I adore most about it.  I don't have to constantly remember passwords thanks to this and the Single Sign-On feature, which makes them easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

The mobile app's usability, in my opinion, needs to be enhanced.  It has several restrictions that I can only get around if I use a laptop or desktop computer, which isn't always the case, particularly when I'm travelling.  The initial setup is a little complicated as well.

I used Rippling for onboarding at my new company, and I really like how it is all in one place, with a smooth flow. I never had an issue setting things up. The UI is slick and intuitive, with minimal clicking through unnecessary stuff to get to what I needed. It was seamless and excellent to start the process on my personal iPhone with my personal email, and things transitioned smoothly to my work email on my work laptop. I didn't have to do anything to link the accounts; it just worked, resulting in very low-friction onboarding. The initial setup was very easy, with no issues, as I just downloaded the app from a link sent by the recruiter at the company.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Nothing, it's quite good. I think I'd need to use it many more times and/or be a software or UI designer to be able to nitpick any issues.

I like how intuitive Rippling is. I haven't needed to read a help article because I can click around and usually find what I need. I appreciate not having to use the help area, which shows the software is easy to navigate. It's easy to use, which is super helpful for getting things like pay stubs or submitting time off requests. I also like that everything I need is in one place, making it easy to find login information or track deliveries for my job. Plus, Rippling keeps the software updated across company computers, which is really cool and helpful. Lastly, the ease of setup was great; I don't even remember having to set it up, which indicates it was a smooth process.

The only thing that's ever really been confusing is figuring out where to go for certain tasks. Like, I know there's an option for time, and I often go there to request PTO or things like that. But sometimes I didn't know if time off would be in the time area, if it's considered part of my benefits, or if it's part of payroll. Every time I go, I have to remind myself it's in the time area, even though I know it seems intuitive. I sometimes don't know where to go.

Rippling’s biggest strength is how seamlessly it integrates HR, payroll, and IT functions. Onboarding new employees is fast and automated—setting up benefits, payroll, and even issuing devices all happens within a few clicks. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate, and it scales really well as your organization grows. Having all employee data centralized in one system has made compliance and reporting much easier.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

While the platform is powerful, it can sometimes feel overwhelming due to the number of features packed in. Some modules require additional costs or add-ons, which can drive up the price quickly if you need more than just the core HR tools. Customer support is generally helpful, but at times there can be a delay in resolving more complex issues.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling is solving the problem of fragmented HR, IT, and finance systems by centralizing everything into a single platform. Before using Rippling, we had to rely on multiple tools for payroll, onboarding, benefits, device management, and app access. Now, all of those processes are connected in one place, which saves time, reduces errors, and improves the employee experience. For example, new hires can be onboarded in minutes — with payroll, benefits, and device setup done automatically. It also makes compliance and reporting easier, especially as we grow and hire in new states or countries. Overall, it’s helped us scale operations without having to grow our back-office team at the same rate.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

I really appreciate Rippling's intuitiveness, which makes it easier for everyone, from the admin team to those just needing to request time off or view a pay slip. The system's nimbleness allows us to change access, reports, and how things are tracked or presented without the hassle of submitting a ticket and waiting. I also like the responsiveness of Rippling's support team. The implementation team is quick to respond and super helpful, with routine meetings to keep us on track. If something goes beyond their scope, the general support team is also quick to respond and comes prepared with thoughtful questions. Plus, there's a robust helpsite and Rippling U for additional support.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

I wish the user permissions could have more detailed controls. It's mostly categories now and can't be detailed. There's also some features that aren't available if someone doesn't have full access to the entire company/companies. It's currently pretty high level and they are tied together, but sometimes you don't need someone who can see pay rates to also see SSNs.

I use Rippling for work to check my pay, schedule PTO, and check benefits. I love how it is able to automatically sign into all the apps without me needing to go to the portal, find my username and password, and sign in and verify. Everything is so seamless. Rippling helps connect all the apps together, and the main benefit I have seen is the ease of use. These features make me want to always use Rippling because it saves so much time and effort for the employees.

I think sometimes there are too many options or too many tabs but it takes some time to get used to. However, its IT aspect on the computer can cause issues with installing software.
