One issue I have experienced is with Splashtop. Sometimes it does not connect, or there can be a significant delay when trying to remotely access a computer. I would say cost can add up. Rippling IT is a powerful tool, but often paying for a broader platform so it can cost. Any can be a little complex sometimes, a little bit of a learning curve as well.
