I think the most feature that we like about Retain Cloud is the plan, which gives us a kind of dashboard of all resources. We mostly use the resource view, which provides an overview for a given month or week or even two to three months and helps us manage resources easily. It shows where resources are located, for what jobs, how long, and it helps ensure there's sufficient booking or availability, which is important for future planning. Another thing I like is that moving to the cloud means that all staff can have access to Retain Cloud and can access it from anywhere—whether it's from a phone, desktop, or laptop—all they need is the Internet. Basically, I think, it has served our purpose and expectation, but we have been looking into, like, couple of filtering options to see whether what are the active jobs. There can be jobs that are non active or probably gone out of, so we don't want to see all of them. We just wanted to see only the active jobs. Right now, we don't have readily available way to get that sorted out. Because the job view by default has all the jobs that is in there, and so it just bit difficult to get to an Active jobs view only. The other thing is, we wanted to see resources in conflict. That means they have been booked for multiple jobs in the same period. So we wanted to see, what are the resources in a given period who are in conflicts so that we can easily manage those conflicts. Thank-you for the feedback, we have two features which will be released in August 2026 which will allow you to easily spot and manage booking conflicts with our new conflict-aware filter.
The second feature will archive jobs and bookings manually or automatically to keep operations running smoothly while preserving historical data for reporting and future reference. Currently, you can create an archived field to solve this problem. If you would like to get in touch with our support desk they will be able to assist you.
