What I value most is the combination of depth and flexibility. The platform covers ROPA, DPIAs, LIAs, TIAs, DSARs, incident management, risk matrices, threats and vulnerabilities, vendor assessments, policies and compliance roadmaps, all within one integrated environment. At the same time, it allows full customisation. You can adapt risk models, processing records, questionnaires and workflows to reflect how your organisation actually operates.

It is not a rigid template-based tool. It gives you a framework, but you remain in control.

The usability is also strong. The interface is intuitive and well organised, which makes adoption easier for both compliance professionals and operational stakeholders. While the experience is mostly smooth, there are occasional technical hiccups or bugs that can be frustrating. Currently, we sometimes have to spend extra time customizing the standard forms to fit these specific use cases. Two things stuck out for me regarding RESPONSUM: Collaboration is often a huge struggle with GDPR compliance, and RESPONSUM enables us to do this very efficiently. Secondly, as a consultant, getting the environment up and running with the client's existing documents was surprisingly easy and quick.
