# What contractor payment tools do account managers and finance teams actually stick with rather than eventually going back to manual bank transfers?

People go back to manual bank transfers when the tool adds steps without removing enough pain, usually around edge cases like a contractor in a country it half-supports. Stickiness comes from covering the annoying long tail, not the easy 80%. So the question is: what's the payment that made you look for a tool in the first place, the weird one? Test against that, not the simple domestic transfer. The easy ones work everywhere. The hard ones are where tools quietly fail and you drift back to the bank portal.
