RateServer does not customize to our business. Our business is unique but there have been multiple requests to make changes that would help our company in a meaningful way but they have been resistant to make those changes. Searching for origin cities are sometimes abbreviated to shorter words so when you search you are not able to find the origin you are looking for unless you remember the exact abbreviation. Car costs per ton are not available to be added to the rate in RateServer so we have to build our own application to display a rate for our sales team. Uploading contracts/tariffs to the system can sometimes be very cumbersome and precise. Competitors upload tariffs automatically since they are public or they upload the contract documents on your behalf. Reporting is not very good at all; if you find the correct report, the document you export from RateServer will lake headers describing what each column is. No proactive dashboards for mapping rates/routes are available so we have to create our own using Tableau. In general, the application looks like it is from the 90s and is not very intuitive for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
